Voiceplay is one of my favorites. They make everything better....like Seven Nation Army.
Gar-jewl'-lah. Last year they got crazy and decided to do Nothing Else Matters (Metallica). I heard a lot folks "You can't do Metallica in acapella." Guess they know now. Chicago heard of them, listened and contacted them to join them in their Nov 17-18 Chicago and Friends Concert. They went and the stage manager wanted to know where they were going to set up the drum kit. Eli just pointed to Layne and said, "He's it." Chicago's trumpet player was sitting beside Geoff when they were doing one of their songs. Trumpet player was just looking at Geoff as if to say "How does he do that?" It went well. They also did In The Air Tonight (Phil Collins), also stunning. For a little fun, try Drunken Sailor.

Aren’t they amazing? Every one of their covers is its own individual work of art and they cover a lot of genres, including Disney. If you liked this one you might also enjoy In the Air Tonight but pick whichever one you want and you’ll love it! 😅

Thank you for another priceless reaction to Voice Play. The quitar effect was added with Geoff's base voice. These guys are known as The Theater Kids of A capella . Some of their best theatrical covers are...Hell Fire from The Hunchback of Notre Dame... Sleeping In The Cold Below... Queen In 5 Minutes ( a medley of Queen songs )... Hoist The Colours...The Little Mermaid...Friends On The Other Side...Dream On ( originally by Aerosmith ) Voice Play knocks it out of the ball park. More Geoff please ❤ Please put them on your list.

Voice Play are the Drama Dept of the a capella high school! Pentatonix is the Student Council. Home Free are the shop boys and Voctave are the champion level choir in the Music Dept! (Add a nod to Straight No Chaser. 😉) Add some Dan Vasc in for amazing talent and David Phelps for just being unbelievably awesome and I'll be happy with anything else you want to react to from Metal to Gospel to Classical & onto classic rock wonderful poets and troubadors! VP is my favourite a cappella group, but coming up fast behind them is The Bass Gang. Their most recent release is If I Had a Heart from Vikings. Stellar. But they have lots of other great ones too.
