There are so many stunning yarns available too. Now that the kids are grown and out of the house hubby and I can put those resources towards our hobbies and fun. It’s an exciting time for sure
The chart does not care. Mind blown 🤯. I never thought about using charts across crafts! Especially cross stitch patterns 🤯🤯🤯 Thank you for sharing your wisdom. Time to go down the chart rabbit hole ❤️
The border on the blanket if you are adding another go around, do each border corner in a contrasting color the size square of the ones in the blanket. That might give just enough leeway to do another complete round with one skein. If it doesnt add enoigh, doing a square in the side and top middle borders as well can work.
If you haven't chosen a dress pattern for your granddaughter check out the Abigail Fairy dress by Christel Riley Watts. I have made it before for both granddaughters and they absolutely love it so much that they have asked me to make new ones this year since they both have outgrown their other dress (now fits like a babydoll top on older one). You could use up some of those Herschnerr's mystery cotton cakes, I am using 2 Dahlia from Hobby on the one for my oldest granddaughter. They work up fairly quickly and the skirts flare out beautifully when they twirl around which is their favorite thing about them.
Ok I started your trip around the world with caron simply soft and threw it across the room 😂 started it in regular acrylic yarn and I love it. But now I'm definitely going to be making one with the rave yarn it's stunning. Oh and too bad me and Lynanne didn't pick a girl's dress for HvH 😂😂😂😂 or did we. Mwah ha ha
I also started crocheting my bobbles quite a few years ago. I know the dress pattern is not available, but can you just tell me how many stitches there are in the top half (front and back combined) and how long did you make the top from garter portion to armhole? The hat you are working on, is stunning! The Monkey Socks with the purple contrast yarn is beautiful - the person getting them is very privileged. You are going to be the star of Hooker vs Hooker. The colors of your blanket are so brilliant on the photo. You will see the ones I sent you the photos of, are very dull. It does not reflect the colors as they really are. E.g. the green I used in the one with the straight edges, are the same green as the green of your blanket. I think it's because I did not use natural light.
The border on the blanket looks fantastic with the fade running around. Beautiful blanket.
Beautiful dress. Love the hats. You get through things So fast. Just amazing.
You always make the prettiest projects and find gorgeous colored yarn 🧶. Thank you for the inspiration ❤

That one is in my favorites, you might have a point. This may be the time for me to just grab some yarn and go for it.

That little dress is an heirloom.
It is so sweet and the dusty rose color definitely says heirloom

If your granddaughter likes Taylor swift then you could make her the granny stitch dress very quickly.
The kids aren’t into her but I am familiar with the dress. It’s a good idea
