I would put in a blind ditch. Drain tile in the ground, instead of an open ditch. It looks like the ground slopes off pretty hard from the highway. That would cause washouts all along an open ditch. Where you were standing at the end, I'd also put a small run off pond towards that big ol tree, probably a 10x10, then run the pipe from the far side of the pond on through the fields, into another ditch, if there's one over that way. One of our fields had a sharp slope to it, that made part of it kinda useless, because of the standing water. We put in over a thousand feet of tile in the ground, and it made a world of difference. Might could use it for a hay field for a year or so, until the ground gets dried out. Just a couple ideas fer ya bud.

Thanks for the great ideas! I would love to have it where you couldn’t tell there was a ditch there. We were thinking about them plastic culvert tiles, but i started looking at the price and got a little hesitant lol. That’s what we want when it’s all said and done, I know for sure we are going to put tile under the road. Hopefully we can just do what you did and put in a bunch of tile in! Hope you have a blessed week, thank you for watching as always!
