It's great to have a common interest. My husband and I spend many hours with rocks. I can quickly become a little envious, you must have had a wonderful trip, there are so many beautiful places where you live. Good to see more of you Janine👍. Greetings from a wet and cold winter in Denmark. 4 degrees Celsius, windy and rainy.😊 Jane
Good to hear from you Jane ☺ I think the common interest is that when I go away she enjoys having the house to herself 😆 We had a fantastic trip although at times we would have gladly traded your 4 degrees for our 43 😁
@paulhardie yes that, I just didn't know how to spell it. Ha, Lol... I'll have to order this and possibly some peanut wood from you, after Christmas sometime. Beautiful pieces!
A really nice presentation Paul , well done to you both indeed, wish i could get out and about touring and looking for rocks but sadly we dont travel, my dear wife has sadly multiple health issues that are a real challenge , so your vids and channel is a pure delight, though we used to do wildlife photography trips together before things got to hard, so thank you both once again, cheers
Wonderful video, so lovely to see your wife. You sure found some beautiful stones. Happy new year to you both. Wishing you lots of successful rock hunts
@paulhardie oh dear what a let down. I got a grilled fish and sat on Observatory beach with the camper door open and watched the sunset and then the stars sparkle
G'Day Paul & Janine, Congratulations on your 40th anniversary. My wife's name is Janine we have been married 35 years. 2025 we plan to go rock hounding together. Merry Christmas guys 🎄👍👍 Cheers Kev
Thanks Kev, we've only been married since 2009, when people would ask why we'd taken so long to tie the knot my go to answer was, we spent a long time picking our rings😆. . . excuse my crude humour 😁 Have a terrific Christmas and all the best for a successful new year rock hounding 👍
@paulhardie I was on a bus heading from Adelaide to Brisbane. It broke down at a place called Yunta, in the middle of nowhere 🤣 The bus was full, and I had the front seat. By the time we got going , it was dusk, omg it was awful.

Wow, beautiful rocks! The blue one is gorgeous! I would love to buy several piecesof these.

Thank you Nicola and a Happy New Year to you and yours, I hope your vibe tumbler is working well
@@paulhardie the vibe is amazing, I'm so impressed with how well it works.
Im still waiting for my polish, I've only done 220, and 600 in it.
@@nicolagraynewzealandrockho8976 keep me posted 👍
Awesome hunt!
Yes it was 😀a heap of fun.
Best chip shop in Esperence. I did that big trip about 5 yrs ago and loved every bit of it. I usually head north of Perth. But very impressive.
Din't find the best chip shop but did stumble across the most average Chinese restaurant 😄

I know what you mean about the kangaroos, back in 1993 i did a backpackkng trip to Aus, i was on a bus in the dusk.
We hit so many Roos, it was awful.
Yeah it's a good idea to avoid travelling at dusk and dawn in certain areas, they're such dopey animals 😄
