It's the first time I've seen your channel but I'm subscribing your a very open minded person I love watching Kent he didn't make a true traditional lasagna but were ok with that nice to be so open minded I wish more people were like you.
Hello from Russia! This cowboy is entertaining! Speaking of lasagna. I have been cooking it for quite some time now, but only recently have I discovered that Americans cook it with ricotta cheese. Tried it once. Doesn't taste quite the same as it does with bechamel.
i mean i think to be honest the reason why we do that is because we're really busy, america has a history with all sorts of "grab and go" type meals, and you know, stuff that's simplified and quicker, easier, and a little more foolproof to account for the average schedule here. i do want to try the bechamel version, seems like it'd be way richer and more tasty.

Wooow 🤩 this is great to hear and this makes me so happy!
Thank you soooo much my friend! ❤️
I was excited to see this! I just started following the cowboy, after binging on several of his videos.
Great! Have you enjoyed this video?
@@vincenzosplate I smiled so much! And I took your tip on board, to add the red wine (port) before the sauce, so it can cook off, infusing the flavour. I need all the tips I can get, after growing up with mum telling me I should marry an Italian, because it's all I ever wanted her to cook ... and then I'd complain because adding spaghetti to "savoury mince" is not spag bols, haha!
Great job! I love your comparing videos.
I love Kent, real cowboy and chuck wagon cook!
Kent is a great man!!
Come to Wisconsin and I will feed you like a king with all my family's traditional peasant recipes that came with when we left Naples. :)
Oh wow, sounds amazing 😋😍
Can we take a moment to acknowledge that this dish is beloved worldwide and each culture has their own ‘interpretation’? I have seen ‘Caribbean style’ versions at my family celebrations and it is delicious - I promise😂😂😂.🙋🏾♀️. I have also heard that Ethiopian people have their versions which goes back to the Italian occupation of Abyssinia last century.......so great. THANKYOU Vincenzo ❤️👍🏾
I agree with you that lasagna is loved all over the world, and reproduced in all countries in various versions !!
@@vincenzosplate thank you for always engaging with your fans. It’s so sweet of you and during Covid it is so nice to have a laugh and giggle about food. You are awesome🙋🏾♀️💋
Thank you so much for not being harsh on that ol cowboy. He's very entertaining and does his own thing. Love your videos and his. Oh, and he adds jalapeno to everything. Cowboy thing you know
oh, I love his channel too! He did a good job 🤠
2:12 "Oh yeah I'm gonna judge you, don't worry. [Smile]" Ha ha, I laughed so hard.
🤣🤣🤣
LOVE this reaction! I like Kent’s accent too and his antics. Lol. Thanks for sharing
Thank you for this video Vincenzo, I am Sicilian and I love Kent Rollins' channel.
many thanks to you Jeff for watching!
I smiled seeing your reaction to our old Kent. It's two great chefs across the world in one video! :)
great, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
You are a good guy for being open minded and not a food snob.. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I just subscribed to your channel.. Kent Rollins is an amazing cook/chef
Thank you sooo much, welcome aboard bella 😍❤️
Great reaction! Gave him love and corrections, instead of beating him up!💝🍻
i'm glad you enjoyed this reaction video!
I have to say that editing in this video is next level. 🤌 give the editor a raise!
WOW thank youuu 🤩🤩
i agree don't use cheap cheese (i can't stand parmesan from the can or bottle). that said, Americans LOVE cheese that has the maillard reaction on top. and that will never change
Kent is awesome! His tamale video was what made me a fan of his channel!
Great!
I love Cowboy Kent!!! He's so funny!!! This was great!!! Thank you for the laugh, and the learning. 😊
I am very glad I subscribed to this channel, Vincenzo you're a likeable dude.
oh wow, welcome aboard my friend!
File error!!! 😂😂😜 Great reaction and tips thankyou Vincenzo 👏🏽👏🏽 that cowboy guy did a pretty good job I am impressed 👏🏽👏🏽
thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
I don't know if this a a "sacrilege" to Italian food or an ode to it.
Lasagna is the perfect Italian national dish...flawless.
Maybe due to this, the whole World wants to have their take on it.
On the other hand, these UA-cam videos would be dull without Vincenzo's reaction.
I am waiting for the day when Kay's cooking will do a video with you. 😂
Something complex like fiori de zucca fritti.
🤣🤣🤣
Ciao Sergio, I think this recipe is not a sacrilege, but it is certainly not an ode either! I have certainly seen better, but it is also true that there is much worse around ... and in any case you can see the passion he put into it!
Love your sense of humor. That was a fun video.
Glad you enjoyed it! 🤩
Idk who that cowboy is but I feel like I need to watch some more of his videos
Hahahahaha I’m sure you’ll enjoy his videos
Kent's recipes. 😋 😋 😋 😋
First time seeing your video and i absolutely love your reactions. Great job Chef! You have a new fan and GOD Bless you good sir.
I appreciate that, thank you my friend! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Hi, Vincenzo. I made aglio alio pasta using your tips and it vastly improved. Thanks!
Great to hear, thank you so much 😍
Thanks for the tips! I'll be sure to put them to use in an upcoming video.
Amazing! Mnay thanks to you!
Great reaction I really like to see traditions kept alive but I have to say that Kent’s is probably really good and good cheese is key
Thank you Derek, I’m glad you enjoyed the video! Yes Kent is great
Great video! Kent is awesome too and I've been a big fan of you both for a while now. Its cool to see you enjoy his channel. E Ora si mangia!
Many many thanks my friend, I’m super glad you enjoyed this video! Kent is great 🤠
We are from Sicily and we use Ricotta cheese with mozzarella
great!
Yes. My grandmother was from Sicily, and she put ricotta in her lasagna. She mixed egg, grated Romano, and parsley in her ricotta before she put it in the lasagna, though.
It's the first time I've seen your channel but I'm subscribing your a very open minded person I love watching Kent he didn't make a true traditional lasagna but were ok with that nice to be so open minded I wish more people were like you.
thank you so much Travor! I'm glad you ejoyed the video!
Welcome aboard!!
Thank you for liking and supporting Kent’s videos and cooking. We love him!
I love him too, he rocks!
Two great channels. This is awesome. I would love to see you guys meet up and have each other make dishes from one another.
That would be cool!
Hello from Russia!
This cowboy is entertaining!
Speaking of lasagna. I have been cooking it for quite some time now, but only recently have I discovered that Americans cook it with ricotta cheese. Tried it once. Doesn't taste quite the same as it does with bechamel.
Ciao!! Oh yes he’s super entertaining 😁
I personally do not use ricotta in my lasagna too, I prefer it with bechamel! 😋
I use ricotta. I have seen people use cottage cheese also.
@@mattmattix2598 try bechamel. It's better.
i mean i think to be honest the reason why we do that is because we're really busy, america has a history with all sorts of "grab and go" type meals, and you know, stuff that's simplified and quicker, easier, and a little more foolproof to account for the average schedule here. i do want to try the bechamel version, seems like it'd be way richer and more tasty.
Super entertaining video! I enjoy your encouragement very much Vincenzo. You correct but you also appreciate. Well done.
how nice, I'm really glad you liked the video! thank you so much 🙏🏻❤️
Great video! I love how constructive you are with feedback. You’re awesome😉👌❤️
