    Another issue I have with Alberta politics is immigration, not on a federal level but every time Alberta does well for it self, everyone from across the country comes to steal Albertan's jobs, we live here and Albertan's are not served, even in the social services sector. I HAVE A DIGITAL ID AB, HOW MANY OTHER'S DO NOT AND GET JOBS?

      It's everywhere in Canada. It's all Trudeau fault, If you think Alberta is bad. There is actual riots in Canadian streets with Canadians in Ontario about this. He caused us to become something we never were and that was anti immigration but enough is enough.

    The Americans are customers but also competitors. We sometimes forget that. They will do anything they can to get our resources at a discount and sell us their products for a premium. There’s nothing odd or nefarious about that, but we need to do the same to them. The so-called “free trade” agreements were meant to protect both markets, but they don’t. The American marketplace is ten times larger than Canada’s, and gleefully overwhelms us whenever it can. That’s why we need alternative markets where we can get the best price possible. Grownups know this and accept it. Liberal socialists are not grownups.

      Yeah, we need to sell less to America, not more. We need to do our own refinement of our materials and send them to global markets. That way we can stop selling our oil at such a massive discount to them. They get richer off of our own resources than we do.

    Increase the export price to match the tariff, next! btw - a real Albertan patriot would insist on nothing short of Alberta being a republic or at least having everything Quebec/Ottawa rips Alberta off for - like their own pension plan, like their own Provincial police force, like their own laws and deprivation by transfer/equalization payments. This is not a game Smith - freedom is at stake and you are the boss.

    • @jasonlauritsen5587
      @jasonlauritsen5587 День тому

      @@garywagner2466he didn't say Alberta was a republic l. Just that he thinks it should be. Also, Canada needs us and our resources and taxes more than we need you, landlocked countries have the right to tidal waters by UN declaration, so there'd be nothing Canada could do to stop us from getting that access. They could charge us for that, but then they'd have to either pay us for access to rail services to get goods back and forth from the east and west, pay America to build and transport good through America, or just work with us to allow both us and Canada to continue to allow goods to travel through. Plus Canada would have to either pay us for their gas and oil, or buy it from our competitors, who would immediately increase the prices charged as Canada would no longer have the backup excuse of "give it to us at a discount or well use our own" that they currently get from places such as Saudi. Aslo your dollar would lose 30% of its value overnight as that's how much it is based off of Alberta oil, all of Ontario's chemicals refineries that take our oil and gas byproducts that aren't methane ornoil, such as benzene, xylene, pentane, paraffin, etc, would immediately be closed down, your gasoline/diesel prices would skyrocket even more, and your citizens, many who come and work in Alberta would immediately lose their 10-20k a month jobs. So, you should try to keep up. Canada needs Alberta more than we need you. Alberta being in Canada benefits you far more than it does us. While it would be nice to actually work as a country should, it doesn't currently, and to the detriment of ALL of Canada.

    • @jasonlauritsen5587

      Because you guys have never been good at extraction of anything aside from uranium. Mostly because you've mostly always been run by socialists who only care about farming and socialism. That and you haven't the population to do anything as no one wants to live in a flat, boring prairie. The northern half is much better with its forests and beautiful crystal clear lakes, but not much of anyone knows about those, and it's still mostly flat there. We're a much more diverse province in regards to land types and we have some of the most beautiful mountains on the planet, so it's a much more desirable place to move to as it doesn't take 7 hours to drive anywhere nice. A mere million people won't get you very far, especially when most of those are farmers.
