Paul Duffy - The Making Of - Debut Solo Album

Behind the scenes footage shot during the recording sessions of my debut album, Only Just Begun from 2013/14.
Featuring the Black Dyke Band, Emma Björnell, John Doyle, Peter Moore and Richard Marshall.
On this album I am playing a total of 25 different instruments. It is mostly multi-track recordings, one part at a time. It's a very slow process especially when you record a brass band or big band that way! People ask me how it is possible to play so many instruments. The answer is simple. Once you have an understanding of music, it is the same on every instrument. Music itself doesn't change, leaving you only to learn a new technique.

Really awesome stuff Paul! Surprised this hasn't taken off more than it should! Never realised a french horn was that tricky to play! Will give some more respect to french horn players from now on haha. Whats next? Not tempted to rejoin Brass Banding?
