This train exhibit actually seems like a dream... So much cool train paraphernalia! Now I feel like every time I take a train in Japan I'll have 10 more things to spot and think about. I didn't even realize trains had different head plates on the front. So much cool history hidden within trains in Japan!
Loved the video Natasha! Especially the bit about the train cruises which I hope to experience one day and the history of JR is very fascinating. Cant wait to see more!
Thanks Georgia! Hopefully they'll do another, when these kinds of exhibitions go well they tend to show them again later. Here's hoping!!! Otherwise I hear the metro museum is pretty cool!
This was super cool. Where I live trains aren’t really a thing so it’s exciting to ride in one at other cities. I can’t wait to finally ride a Shinkansen. Your excitement is so fun. I think this is the first time I’ve heard Liam talk so much. 😄
Oh my I would've loved to have seen that train exhibit! Would like to try a train simulation too!!! Twilight Express is a dream of mine to go on!!! Also, that Dr. Yellow transformer train looks like what bumblebee would look like if he turned into a train instead of a camero xD Speaking of Gachas, have you been to gacha sushi? you get a chance to get a gacha after eating a certain number of plates PS: wondering if you managed to get that blood orange doughnut shop that was closed hahaha
I didn't know that I would find a museum about trains interesting until I watch this vlog. xD A great one as always, Natasha! I've really been enjoying your vlogs on this Japan trip. :D
Another great video - thank you! You and Liam were reading the signs so well -- how did you learn to read Japanese? Are there any books or programs you used? Thank you!
Hi Sherman! I love japanesepod101.com! But I also have some private lessons every so often. Actually I'm a bit out of practice right now - need to get back to it! Oh the "Japanese" app for iOS is good too!
The elevator speed and the light change made me think. "No no! Light speed is too slow ... yes, we're gonna have to go to Ludacrous speed!" "They've gone to Plaid!"
This is interesting, but not as cool as the Rail Mail train and Postal Museum we visited on our last trip to London due to your recommendation. That was awesome! 🇺🇸✈️🇬🇧🚇
Oh wow nice!!! Yeah sadly I missed it - need to get on the next special one next time! I might go see if they have a special one planned for next year!!!
Create a Patreon page, with the goal to get enough money to get the ticket for the circular route of the Twilight Express. It's only a few thousand bucks, you'll get them for sure! I bought a train time table last year, and a Japanese colleague of mine spent one hour explaining how it works, it's really fascinating! And by pure chance it has the ad for the Mickey Mouse themed shinkansen they had running in Kyushu. I also got the rulers!!! Yamanote and Chuo
Nice!!! A lovely subscriber sent me some merch for the mickey shinkansen! I hope they run it again. I like the Patreon idea! That Twilight Express looks so awesome. I guess it's like a cruise and that's why it's so pricey. Some day I'll get on it!!!
@@thisNatasha Hehehe I know, that was me ☺️ A pen, pins, stickers, newspaper or something like that? I got them in Kyushu last Summer, glad you liked them! Unfortunately that train didn't run for very long, like the Eva or the Hello Kitty, but only for a few months, and it was only in Kyushu, so not many people saw it.
It's "Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion"! Here's the wiki article, I've not seen much of it but the transformations are awesome!!! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shinkansen_Henkei_Robo_Shinkalion

Aw bless how you tried so hard to remember all JRs, well done😊 I wouldn't have remembered any of them
I'm so gutted I didn't even think of JR Freight!!! xD
Wow that was awesome! Loved the exhibition, gatcha coffee, and that 3d map model was just excellent 😍
Thanks!!! I don't know why I didn't buy all the gachapon!!! They were so awesome! Will have to find them in Nakano when I go back to Japan! :D
Loved the video Natasha! Especially the bit about the train cruises which I hope to experience one day and the history of JR is very fascinating. Cant wait to see more!
Thanks so much Manny!!! I hope one day to get on one of those cruises - it would be so magical!!! Thanks again!
That exhibition looked awesome!! I'm gutted its not permanent I would so like to go! Thanks for the vlog!

Amazing sis. Your knowledge about train is amazing like a tetsudo fan.
I do love the Japanese trains!!! Thanks for the comment Dhonz Nine!
最近、私はあまり日本語練習しませんので、9月から日本語勉強に戻る始めます!(sorry my particles are not so good!)
Those detailed maps Liam was flipping through, that's how Phineas Fogg was able to travel the world in 80 days. :)
Ha! If only we could travel round the world in 80 days on trains...!!!
I didn't know that I would find a museum about trains interesting until I watch this vlog. xD A great one as always, Natasha! I've really been enjoying your vlogs on this Japan trip. :D
Thank-you!!! He he I do like my trains! Think I have about five more vlogs to go - it was a long trip!!!
I really loved your excitement!
Ha ha! One does love the Japanese trains!!!

Oh yeah the Rail Mail is awesome!!! So glad you liked it! So much history there. I should do more train museums in the UK!!!
Omggg cities skylines!! This game has eaten so much of my lock down time 😄
Ha ha!!! It's so good! Think I might play some more this week lol
Hi Natasha
You missed looking a the hello kitty shin????????? Train.
Was very interested to see it started when I was born 1964.
😃😍💖💙👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👋👋👋
Oh wow nice!!! Yeah sadly I missed it - need to get on the next special one next time! I might go see if they have a special one planned for next year!!!
Absolutely love Japanese trains and Gashapon! ☺ ♥ 🇯🇵
Gashapon are awesome! I regret not buying the whole set!
@@thisNatasha I want to open a Gashapon Café in Brighton one day!
Are you able to share an image or link of the Google map you created for your trip? Love this trip!
There were a few changes but this was the basic route! I hope it helps! www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=1xoMT5EFUMX7238offPFxMJ2C1sYW9QdV&usp=sharing
Thanks, you're the best!!
all i could think of was Labo when i saw the cardboard train!
Ha! It does look like that!!!
Are those metro lines all underground? Tunnels and earthquakes... not a good combination 😱
Much of them are yes! The Earthquake proofing in Japan is so good, I never think about it too much!

Youve been to this museum before, right? But for a different exhibition...
I have! For the Cardcaptor Sakura exhibit! They do some good exhibitions! :D
You went to train heaven, lucky lady. What's it like returning to reality after being in heaven?
I miss it so much!!! Lol!!! Aw the Japanese trains... they are so good...!!!
Okay, I'm going to have to find that train anime that transform! What was it called, i didn't catch the name. I have seen Rail Wars.
