I went last January as well in that Uniqlo at Ginza, and I have mixed feelings about it. While it's great cause it's probably the biggest since it's the Tokyo flagship store, it's also super packed with people, most of them tourists. It was almost impossible to catch the elevator and there was a line also to get on the escalator. Unless I'm looking after an article sold only in the flagship store (I was looking for Roger Federer's shirt), I think I'll go to some less crowded Uniqlo's. The haul video for this trip will be interesting to watch 😄
Ah yeah, I remember one time in Uniqlo a tourist was dragging her items up the escalator, tripped and everyone coming up the escalator piled on top of her, it was a real disaster (no one was hurt, just embarrassed). I still love going - but Maurice's comment about a new uniqlo across from Muji hotel is interesting!!!

It was! I always do the haul as soon as I get back because I use all the stuff then forget where I put things or where I bought them!!! It's right at the beginning of the trip playlist!

I just found out Muji filed for bankruptcy in mid-July. Another COVID casualty. That's really sad. They say they will keep the online store open and some flagship stores but many of the smaller locations will close.
Thanks for the info, I just checked and yeah in the US it looks like they're closing their stores. Japan seems to be fine though, so that's something I guess. Very sad ;.;

Yeah it fantastic! The olympics has seemed to help, even though it has been postponed many restaurants planned for more visitors and offered more vegetarian options. When we can travel safely again I'll look forward to trying more veggie stuff in Japan! :D
Pre COVID I saw them cleaning headphones and chairs every so often, I imagine they now either clean them every time or don't allow trials anymore for obvious reasons. They're very cautious in Japan!

The in-built microphone! The G7X doesn't have mic in, so the only options are the inbuilt mic or a completely external one!
