I built a full motion VR simulator using Microsoft Flight Simulator premium edition - this is the only aircraft I fly now in the sim. Maybe someday fly the real thing. I think I watched every UA-cam video on the Pipistrel!

Hi thanks for watching. I hope you do indeed get the chance to fly the Pipistel in real life. Too bad you don't live in the Netherlands, otherwise you could get a trial lesson. By the way, I hope to make a video about the Pipistrel Alpha Trainer soon.

      @@TheFlyingDutchgirl Wonderful,
vliegend nederlands meisje, but that is no surprise; while it is a big saving, more significant questions are: is, Is that particular Rotax fuel-injected? (eliminating the possibility of carb ice, and potential off-field landings) does that particular Rotax have automatic mixture control? And most importantly, if all the previous are satisfied, can it be certified for IFR? If the last is "no," then it loses 90% of its attractiveness here in the USA.

The useful load limit of the Virus is small so you'd have to have 2 lightweights in this plane if you attempt to fly for any distance.

According to my calculations I can have 2 normal sized adults of 75 kg (165 lbs) full fuel (100 liters) and 23 kg (50 lbs) of baggage to get to 600 kg MTOM. Its an aircraft in the LSA class.
Maybe you should buy an A380?

A huge part of being a good pilot is situational awareness. Not paying attention to one's surroundings while being the PIC because you're taking a nap, filing your nails etc is very irresponsible even if the auto pilot is on. So to promote such irresponsible behavior may sound cute in a sophomoric way to a middle aged woman, but it's really not cute at all.
