there was never an "Abundance" of cheaters, in 800h of playing I ran into 2 or 3. Also, yes long ammo is still the best but in a game where a headshot from any gun is an equalizer that is not a game breaking thing. It cant be said its impossible to play when people win games with an axe or a bow or a compact ammo pistol.
You have seen 2 or 3 "blatant" cheaters. There are countless cheaters in the game, especially at 6 and high 5 star games that are decent at hiding the fact they are cheating. I guess it also comes down to what you consider to be cheating. Back when Reshade was commonly used and now with nvidia inspector it reduces major elements in the game like foliage, fog, choke clouds, etc to the point where they become a non-factor, would you call that cheating or simply abusing? The fact is there are a shit ton of players that are not playing the vanilla game, a lot even use something as simple as a third party crosshair which still helps heaps and gives a huge advantage. And don't even get me started on the people who intentionally ping abuse...
@MilkTankz I'm really hoping that they will bring an amazing graphical update with the new engine. I would go crazy in love if they bring in Region Lock servers as well
those people who win games with a bow or an "axe" (whatever the fuck that may be) are incredibly rare outliers, long ammo dominates, it has the best weapons, best damage profile, all weapons (aside from Krag) kill downed hunters in one shot, even in long distances with a body shot. Also your arguments of "just get headshots bro" and "just play like rachtaZ and wipe the whole server with a bow and a machete bro" are stupid.
