This size makes sense. Those tiny itty bitty mini twist I've been seeing.. No ma'am press ham. I feel too tiny can be damaging as well. I'm definitely going to do them next time on stretched hair instead of stretching it afterwards. 💪 great job Queen.

Your hair is ideal for this style. My curl is too loose to stay in a twist. The volume of your hair is also ideal. Great look on you girl. I get lots of complements evern when i do just a few handfuls of twists. We are so blessed to have so many options!!!!

my go to style. been a month out of my twists which is the longest i have been without them. but they really help with length and its so easy to moisturise when in them....but 4 hours WoW. I take longer

Be-you-ti-full! However, the way my fine strands are set up 🤣🤣 bay bay. It will not allow me to do twists or braids this small bcus take down will be a disaster waiting to happen. My hair is thick as in dense but my strands are fine. I will be doing this but just on blown out hair and a lil larger sections so i dont rip my hair by it being wet.

Good morning! Your hair is beautiful. So I had my hair mini Twisted yesterday and I like the look except that my hair looks really thin. The Stylist told me that it will thicken up in a couple days and the look is prettier as the time goes on. I don't understand why all the videos I'm watching on UA-cam everyone's hair is so thick and full and mine isn't because my hair is extremely dense and full when I wear it out in an afro. Do you have any suggestions I can give her next time so that it won't come out so flat and thin?
Hi. You may not have thick hair. Our hair can be deceiving and look 'thick' when it's out.
But looking thick and actually having high density hair are 2 different things.
For example, my hair looks thick in twistouts and people often say how thick it is. But my hair is actually medium density. So when I do mini twists, it will never look as full as hers.
Her hair is truly high density. You can tell when she takes a small part how many hair strands are in that.
So you may just have to accept that you probably have medium to low density hair which can appear to look thick in certain styles.
Angela h ask her not to twist each one so tight. Start off tighter but relax it as you move down the hair shaft. This will allow the twist to not be so skinny. Also, try using a water/glycerin based product to draw in moisture which will swell the twist more-Some butters define too much for this style.

Yupdatschelle L I just put it in the big twists to keep it from becoming tangled. Freshly washed and detangled hair is what I started on

How do you get the hair to stay so stretched is it semi dry?
K -DAY when they're smaller it tends to stay more stretched. Bigger twists shrink up. I didn't do anything to keep it stretched
Did this style help you to retain length over your natural hair journey?
Faith W. I've only done this once. I retain length by trimming regularly, not styling more than once a week and keep my hair moisturized
how long did you keep your mini twist in??
Only 2 weeks! It was still neat but I had to review another product. It could have lasted a lot longer
