Having watched AB at Ark, I already knew he was our pg. We have been spoiled by the Stephen curry archetype PG and forgot about the athletic defensive pacing archetype
The greatest point guards have always been an offensive threat and able to space the floor with their shooting...AB is not that guy he's a backup pg at best
AB will eventually start as the Magic PG I believe. He can create off the dribble and passes well from the paint. I people forget this kid is only 2 years removed from high school.

If your argument is look at his stats....then let's cuz he averaged 4points with almost 1 turnover a game and only 1 assist per game while shooting a miserable 60% from the free throw line..he's clearly not a strong shooter
Because most people already know what he’s going to be, a spark off the bench. All eyes are on Paolo, franz, suggs, ab, jett, etc to see what they can become.
Facts! this team plays just .500 basketball when Cole is not on a heater. Cognitive dissonance is still too strong for the Markelle stans and they want to push the reset button instead of admitting they were wrong. Coach will likely continue to play Cole more against tough opponents (especially when their offense scares coach) and more mins on the road. While sitting him against the tankers and only letting him run offense when they're desperate. Hard to see how he doesn't feel taken advantage of by a coach who will never start him. He'll play AB and Suggs more at home and big minutes against the tankers. AB will have a good year because of the way the opponent's scouting report treats Cole and we'll go into next year with AB as the starting PG and Suggs back at the 2 after he struggles. If that doesn't work then it will be 4 years of 3 failed PG projects for this coach trying to develop his ideal PG (which only exists in his imagination) and 4 years of holding back a James Harden level offensive talent. He should be fired at that point. PRR hangs his hat on the net rating for the 5 man lineup of Suggs, Gary, Franz, P5, and Del and therefore, a KCP upgrade on Harris should net similar if not better results. When in reality, that 5 man lineup didn't beat any good teams last season.
