The first episode I watched of One Piece afterwards I was like "Wth did I just watch?!" I thought it was a little too weird and crazy for my taste. But a few days later I got sick and was stuck on the couch and didn't know what to do with myself so I was like why not and just decided to watch because I had nothing else to do. I'm so thankful I did that because I've had so much fun watching it for the past year. I don't think I would've been able to get into it if it weren't for that situation though.
Baratie and arlong park made me like one piece, Alabasta made me love one piece and for me it was the water 7 saga as a whole that made me a one piece diehard that will see this show to very end. Robins backstory and “I WANT TO LIVE!” Still echos into my soul and was the very moment I was like YUP ONE PIECE IS IT. Arlong park and Baratie I mentioned earlier made me tear up but Robins whole backstory and her saying that one line made me full blown cry and had me messed up for like 3 days. Even being caught up, Robin is still my favourite strawhat but every strawhat as well as the many characters and antagonists in this show are also incredible and the worldbuilding is like no other show. It’s not my favourite anime or piece of media but it ABSOLUTELY without a doubt lives up to its name.
I watched from start to alabasta back in high school like 7-8 years ago. I watched skypiea to current anime in the course of the last 9 months when i got my own place lol
I read the manga for about 60% of the show while looking up yt videos for the cool fights and emotional moments like the end of thriller bark. Took me about 7 months and I caught up just in time for roof piece. Its been an amazing ride. Been anime only ever since because the animation and art over the last few months have been absolutely stunning.
I also started watching one piece on TV at the water 7 arc, and because of the french dub episodes not going up to the time skip, the channel broadcasted one piece back to the beginning till marine ford, they were broadcasting 5 episodes a day (4 new episodes a day the first one broadcasted being just the previous day's last episode) from monday to Friday. Not only I managed to watch what happened before but I managed to watch it two times
The d is for DADAN…. I think that if u can get to episode 273 ur hooked… also u can watch the east blue alabasta and skypeia movies to clear the first three arcs too
ZZamn 10 years! I've never seen anyone started one piece for 10 For me, I say a good 20-21 Started at the Romance Dawn all the way to Wano from watching the Anime to Reading the manga
Just read the manga tbh you can get caught up in like 1/6th the time; I've been reading for the last 5 weeks and I'm almost caught up. The anime is so stretched out and slow paced that I can't watch it, those thirty second long panning shots got me dead bro, plus the animation is pretty bad most of the time besides Wano. I'll still be watching each new ep alongside each new chapter of the manga weekly once I catch up tho since 1 episode a week is lightwork. You'll still love this series whichever way you choose to enjoy it tho. Btw, make sure to drop a vid on Doflamingo THE GOAT!!!!
I started to watch one piece during COVID lock-down and i was locked up in a room for some reason i guess and yeah i watched finished One piece and Naruto in 2 months like 2 freaking months and apparently according to my anime watching friend i am a no-life nerd
I dogged one piece for being too long for ab 5 years since 2016 or 2017 and now 2024 i can only wish oda is able to make 1,000+ more chapters and episodes

The manga is a little less wacky and does bit better of a job for the early parts than the anime, and immersion is much more well done in the manga

Thanks! I really wanna watch one piece after finishing jjk so this was helpful!
When I started watching one piece in 2007-8 nobody in my circle liked it. Naruto and Bleach were always more popular.
Thinking of doing a bleach video after this next one!
@@LightSkinJutsu the bleach video was 🔥 👏
Why? Because it's peak. How? Start to finish, movies are optional but let's face it you both need and want more.
Started in August and now I just finished Dressrosa. This show is at LEAST peak shounen
The d is for DADAN…. I think that if u can get to episode 273 ur hooked… also u can watch the east blue alabasta and skypeia movies to clear the first three arcs too

One Piece is not just an anime. It's a way of life.
One Piece seems like a great anime, just the time commitment to watch it all the way through is off putting
For sure bro whenever ya decide to pick up the series just go at your own pace big dawg! Also the manga's another good option.
I dogged one piece for being too long for ab 5 years since 2016 or 2017 and now 2024 i can only wish oda is able to make 1,000+ more chapters and episodes
Or you can just watch One Pace...because it cuts all the fillers and follows the manga pacing
Definitely gonna watch one pace when i re-watch the whole series.
as someone who skipped part of skypia years ago ( like 6 years or something) why shouldn't I skip it
marineford was a great arc but I felt it was too stretched out for a war. should've been 12 episodes at max imo
Best answer = Just read the Manga
no ege transformatoins like all goofy luffy with wet meat
i startet 14 weeks ago and i,m on ep 754
Nice keep pushin!
But I also had a 3-6 week break from one piece and it was in Skypia
Bro do a enel video. Or I disrespect you
Definitely on the list man!
