@@thatfirstone exactly. Apparently, my CPU can't handle some instructions, so those are emulated and makes the game unplayable (awful slow) even with my RTX 3070 gpu

Hp Z400 is too old and doesn't have any AVX2 support in any of its supported processors. You would need to upgrade to at least 2013 and 2014 year of Hp workstation PC.
If its not working on you you should run the Sde as administration ✌️❤️

The black screen opens but closes in less than a second. My CPU has the minimum requirements. But it is still not working.
Make sure you followed the steps correctly and try again also let me know what are your PC specs. Also it's not a perfect fix it's just a way to get the game running on unsupported processors and the experience will not be good enough as it would be on avx2 supported processor also since the game is using almost 16 GB ram i don't know if it would run with 8 GB ram.

That is the official patch provided by the developers of this game. It's better in all aspects. The procedure shown in video was temporary workaround.

The sde file is not a .exe and i wont let me make a shortcut to it, if theres any way to fix lmk
The sde file is an executable file, you may check it through properties and you can create shortcut of almost any file. I wonder if you have extracted the rar or viewing the files through explorer. You have to extract the files before use them.
what about file u4.exe and file tll.exe does not exist? please need help :(

When i copy uncharted 4 target path to sde.exe and ok it shows,
specified in the target bax is not valid. make sure the path and file name are carrect.🙄

I have just tried this method and i got the error saying Windows 10 version 1903 or higher is required. Like Wtf. Also just checked my version and it says 19044.213. I dont get it.

No
The developers were LAZY, and didn't want to properly port this game for PC. That's why only 4th gen and above Intel CPUs are supported. So this fix will get the game to work, but it will run very, very poorly. In many instances your CPU will need extra cycles to perform certain tasks for this game, which otherwise would be natively understood and executed by a CPU which supports AVX2. This is why the game runs very well on 4th Gen Intel CPUs and above. If the developers had built this game to support older CPUs, then Gen 2 and 3 CPUs would run this game, much, much better, but gen 4,5,+ would lose some performance, due to the compromise, as the developers wouldn't want to do even more work. But this is wrong, and they are going to lose sales because of this. Most gamers keep their CPUs, and upgrade mostly their GPUs. A 3Ghz gen 2 or 3 quad core is sufficient in most cases to smoothly run a game without bottlenecking the GPU. So why would you upgrade?

Yes i agree. There is no need to upgrade to a newer generation if the current gen is performing good in games. But developers don't bother to make games compatible for older generation cpus just to save their efforts and time.
@@warraichlabs5154 As far as I know, Naughty Dog is the ONLY developer that has done this, and for ONLY this game. If Last of Us comes to PC, they'll probably do the same, though. But all other titles from other developers have no problem running on all hardware.

This emulator works for intel cpus. I didn't check with an AMD cpu. You may still try if you have an AMD cpu

Launched with AMD, version sde-external-9.0.0-2021-11-07-win, but this is a mockery of 5-10 fps, AMD FX-8350 processor.

0xc00007b “the application was unable to start correctly”.
This error code represents that there is something corrupted within your Windows files or a DLL file from your application files is missing. This error is really common if you are downloading something from an unauthorized source.

It will just run with that emulator on unsupported intel processors but it's not a perfect solution. The FPS would be too low to enjoy playing game. If amd released an emulator for their processors then maybe it would just run.

What does "hsw" mean? Why do you type the command like that? What's this got to do with AVX2? Nowhere do you explain anything about these elements. Just how to type a command copied from someplace else. And of course, playing the FLT torrented game.. not even the legit one T_T.. Pfft.
-hsw is a parameter that we add to sde to emulate Intel haswell architecture which has avx2 instructions. It has to be written in that way in order to work, it's the part of syntax.

Sorry there is no workaround for AMD CPUs but the good news is developers are working on an official fix. So stay tuned and hope for the best
Its not the solution. Emulating AVX instr is pointless. The game will run like shit even if u get new world record with overclocking 2600k
