Daggerwin, the harvesting contracts involving a straw bearing crop are currently bugged. The contracts are including the yield of the straw which causes the 89% completion. Any harvesting contracts for non-straw crops work just fine.
Yep, you'd think giants would have learned, wasn't this an issue with fs19 aswell? Maybe not launch issue but I see to recall having a similar issue on erlengrat
I had this issue as well, and I was thinking that you have to pick up/bale the straw as well? And if you have the straw swath off, you can't go pick it up
Some harvesting contracts, not just those involving straw, were bugged in FS19. I always wondered if the game calls a piece of terrain "harvested" even though there was still product in the underlying bit of terrain. It was actually possible to drive over a "fully harvested" field like Daggerwin had, and harvest additional crops. Looks like that issue was not resolved.

I’ve had some issues with contracts as well. Hired to process one field but wasn’t permitted- but I finished that contract by doing an adjacent field. Also, many just disappear when I accept them.
Contracts disappearing when you accept them... also happened in FS19. They don't fall off the list when the map cycles to the next field state. For example, you can still see the old fertilizer contract on the list although the field has already updated to "Ready to Harvest" and can't be fertilized.
My guess was 6 bales also I love the texture of the corn and the wheat awesome video daggerwin love this series so far I'd never missed an episode yet so far
There's a bug with harvesting contracts for straw crops. You have to go into the missions.xml and set the crop volume expected to 1, after you complete the contract. Load up the game once again and it'll appear as finished
Hey Daggerwin. I had the same issue with my honey pallet. You have to go into the vehicles XML and find the pallet. It will have the position coordinates. Adjust the Y coordinate and raise it by 4 and save. Then when you come back to the game, it will spawn in the air and drop to the ground and you will be able to move it
You can add like 10 on the second value of the position of the "underground pallet" in the XML-file (vehicles.xml). That moves the pallet above the surface. Just compare with a known vehicles Y value to find what pallet is below the surface.
@@StockWT For THAT pallet. 😊 That sort of thing has happened through 17, 19 and now 22. Even if they manage to mostly fix it, it might still happen from time to time. 😊

I said above also, this is a copy paste. Agree, you earn less, but if you’d be to load every single pallet the game should be called Pallet Mover Simulator and not Farming Simulator.
