As a lorry driver I can tell you that truck is far too small for that loaded trailer! You need a 3 axle truck to support the weight under the 5th wheel. In reality the weight would have popped the tyres off the rim on the drive axle of that truck.
The time you put into these videos are NOT unseen. We know the hours it takes sometimes. If I’m not watching I’ll put on one of your older videos and just fall asleep to it. One of the most calming series to watch
That trailer has a sliding floor and can unload without tipping. Also there is a collectable in the woods near that train station! SE of the tracks on a rock.

Easiest way to make a rough calculation of 5% is to knock the last number off of the buy price and then half it. eg. buy price is 8,400 then lease will be 840 halved.... about 420.
Grape stuff: If you keep the right armrest aligned with the vine, you'll be pretty much dead-on, and never hafta worry about getting hung up. Also, i've noticed you never fold up the grape harvester, before putting it away.
A couple things I have found that you may find useful for egg farming. Easiest way to fix the stuck egg pallet is to edit the vehicles.xml file. Just search for eggBoxPallet and note the position. It shows the XYZ co-ords. The second figure (usually around 65 for that farm) is the height. One of the pallets will be a slightly lower number than the rest (eg 64) . change it to 66 . The second thing is the Farmtech DPW 1800 Autoloader. It was fun manually loading pallets the first dozen or so times, but then gets tedious. The autoloader is a godsend. Cheers :)
Yes, you can use railroad silos as storage and you don't need to unload into train from there. There is a trailer unload spot in the yard too. Because you don't have trailer fill limit enabled in settings, it will load full volume of anything. And on heavy stuff like beets it's way over the trailer weight limit. BTW, did you notice that beets too get destroyed when wheels go over them? If you use the towed harvester, you must have narrow wheels on the tractor or you loose most. You destroyed some with the harvester too.
Get another grape trailer, it looks like you can connect them together especially if you're going to increase the row of grapes, by the way I've never played any Farm Sim but grew up on a grape vineyard with the family and I'm just hooked on your series. I like the way you play the game, I'm a recent subscriber thanks to FS22 now as well.
When you’ve got a fully loaded lorry, while accelerating the engine will twist the body slightly and dip when changing gear. Although it shouldn’t lift the drive axle, good effort on the devs
Hey dagger, the reason one of your wheels is lifting is (at least would be in real life, im hoping this is an intentional thing in-game) due to the amount of torque being applied to the driveshaft, the engine makes a counter-torque which is blocked by the engine block being bolted to the frame, as to stop the engine essentially spinning in place, this force is enough to twist the frame which lifts one of the wheels off the ground. there's cool videos of this if you look at high power-diesel truck drag racing
hey daggerwin, just a question. when you were harvesting the grapes and needed the grape trailer. Why didn't you let it be brought to you via a worker (the newer AI thing that can drive to specific points). So that you could just keep harvesting the grapes?
I've noticed that the drive to feature can be iffy at best especially when you aren't asking them to drive on roads. Moving around a farm yard it usually seems to be far quicker to do it yourself.

The last map I played in FS19, I did 60 acres each of sugar beet, potato and cotton. With the harvesters running on Courseplay, and two trucks running on courseplay, it still took like 16 hours to harvest and another 2 hours with *8 trucks* to sell.
you pass by a collectable when you go to the farm shop, once you cross the bridge into the city. with the boats to your left beside the road, go down there and between 2 rubber rafts is one.
40 episodes..you are a machine. I feel like you need a buffer pathe between that field and the sheep and grapes. And remember that when you do olives. Less frustrating
Last time you harvested the grapes, there was 130L left in the harvester. This time there was 138L which means that you , in fact , did have a larger yield compared to the last harvest. It might not be much but it is still a larger yield nonetheless. That means that all the things you’re doing for the field are helping you yield more per harvest which is exactly what you want lol
Your truck wasnt tilting/lifting from the weight, it was when the truck got to max rpm and the torque was really much so it twisted the chassi, which is very realistic.
I’m quite impressed. It looks like they modeled torque physics quite nicely into the game. Essentially when the tuck changes gear the torque of the engine is enough to lift or shift it to one side before it re-engages the clutch.
I thought that was the case, as another UA-camr did a grow video on trees, and the same happened there as well on those 2 tree types. I hope that is fixed with the update
You should really find a super small, cheap field, and place a large vehicle shed on it. Or you could just find some extra space in the yard and get a small one
Daggerwin, not sure if you know but you can store crops of all types in the Train Station Unloading Station as it doesn't get sold unless you actually call the train and load up the train. So thats the best place to store them.
Field 34 may have been a better choice for the olives as it's close to the farm is cheaper than field 12 also you can if you wish sell 12 for the same price as you paid for it, value of all the fields you buy remain the same.
another great episode 40 down and we still have so much more to see in this new fs22 gameplay hope to see those olives soon and yes the mods are coming that luberjack mod is another great one you may want to add to this and you camping survival series hope they both last for some time to come
I accepted a huge sugar beet contract on elm creek to try it out and for equipment they loaned me a trailer that didn’t hold sugar beets, and the Mack truck with no traction. I had to lease my own (same setup you used), and it was about a dozen truck loads to the train station. Thank goodness sugar beets seem to be profitable. I think I still made money, even hiring helpers to get it all done.
Hi Daggerwin, In the last episode you drove right past a collectible when you was in the train, you need to search on top of rocks in the first forest you past to the right of the train (right from the cameras perspective) it is not too far in from the tree line. 😉

Hey Daggerwin! I just watched episode 24 where you found out those stones near your chicken coup are glitched. You can use a worker with a stonepicker to pick them up. If it doesnt work straight away you may need to re-plough the ground and turn stones back on in the settings whilst you do it but I found the worker can fix this for you :)
Daggerwin So for the stuck the pallets. I used a tracker with a front loader and pallet forks. Now it is a ton of fighting. Or an easier option is to dig a hole near by and push it into the hole. This too is fighting alot. However, you may have to sell the chicken coop if they do not let you modify the ground.
the camera screens inside the cap should be possible to operate with the same code as the mirrors, shouldn't they? Like an ingame camera view meshed onto the terminal screen...
Just as FYI, unlike FS19, in FS22 the default silo will hold potatoes and sugar beets. You don't need separate storage or massive piles in random places.
In terms of the willows that haven't grown.... I seem to recall willows are rather large trees, as in, they take up a rather large footprint. Could it be something to do with the game looking for them to have at least a certain foot print of clear space to allow them to grow and they are just too close to other trees?

Then you could keep your current farm as a place to raise cereal crops and grasses for your animals and root crops for profit.

One thing I find interesting about the Ropa Tiger 6 sugar beet harvester, is how the rear of the vehicle can driven offset IRL. It looks a little weird in action haha.
I had the same issue with wobbly trucks, if you switch on the weight restriction, it's much less, but also reduces the amount you can carry in trailers. EDIT guessing without the axel weight restrict you're technically overloading, so it would wobble a bit.

You should use the "Go To" feature with the workers so that you don't have go to back and forth a lot like for example the last video you could have brought all the equipment at one time by using that feature.

Don't know if anyone else has suggested this but to get that pallet out the ground, just use an autoload trailer, then sell the trailer straight after to keep it realistic, just a thought
I can't imagine that getting the screens to work would be that difficult, wouldn't it be almost as easy as getting the mirrors to work? Or alternativly put in mirrors that shows the tool working.
sugarbeet contains about 75% water. so i'll go with that. 1000l of water has a weight of a metric ton. and the Truck you are driving, has (at least in germany) a maximal allowed weight (Truck, trailer and load combined) of 40 tons. you were hauling 59800l, with only the weight of Water (i believe they would be slightly heavier) it would be 59,8 tons only on load. No wonder the Truck struggles. I was surprised it didnt dig itself in, while you were trying to get it out of the field.
Willows and Maple take like 2 years to germinate for some reason. Farmer Klein has a good video about tree growth. Every other tree will be fully grown by two years, willow and maple after 4. Gonna be a long wait.
In theory programming the screens should be no different than programming the side mirrors. It's just setting the camera to show different views in the windowed spaces. But it could potentially be a memory hog, so I can imagine why they could be hesitant to program it. Maybe in the next game. I would like to see the monitors display accurately but also vanilla gps guidance added in. It would be a fantastic reason to upgrade tractors and harvesters, especially in the start farm game modes. They could intentionally start you with older tractors and a harvester that do not have gps to make purchasing a gps guided one a goal for the farmer.
Daggerwin you are doing a really good job with the videos love them so much, I even press the like button before start watching, just a suggestion bro maybe if you do cotton next time it will be nice you make good money and new and nice thing for us
Maybe use the workers a bit more to go and fetch the likes of your grape trailer and in the previous episode where you brought the JCB and then the lorry up to F12. Be good to show off those capabilities a bit more
I'm now looking at getting a beet harvester and had been looking at the Grimme because it is cheaper but has the same width and speed. When I saw the thumbnail I was hoping to find out some reason why the Rora was better but alas I think he just picked the most expensive :D
If you go onto the owned vehicles area you can actually get the weight of the item plus the stuff stored in it. For example, the large motherbin when full of soybeans for me was around 180 tons!!
I had a video recommended to me on YT the other week called "Sugarbeet Mafia". Pretty interesting and I agree. These guys are balls to the wall for the harvest with 3 or 4 dozen people. It's crazy. Worth checking out if you haven't seen it.
@daggerwin, wagon tilts due the the engine being an inline 6 and the crank sahft rotates one way so makes the engine move one way but you only get that with inline engines not with v engines, so the lorry isnt usatble it is jsut under sallot of load, basically, and cheers for all the videos :)
I actually harvested the big field (26) for potatoes. It took 3 ingame days and 2 IRL days with an AI helper running the harvester while I unloaded a trailer at the farmer's market Fun fact: this was a contract and the trailer provided by the contract was not accepting potatos, I had to rent a trailer that could hold potatos
WOW.. 32K in leased equipment to get to those sugar beets! For those kind of fees I don't know why he planted just one field of sugar beets. That leased investment cuts super deep into the profits unless your harvesting a huge load of them.
Nothing wrong with storing it at the train station. It's only temporary storage while waiting for further transport. Also it'll have to be transported in several trips anyway, so it wouldn't have to stay long. The train can only carry 120,000 liter wich is just over 2 trailer loads.

The maple and willow sapplings seem to be bugged. They will stay in the sapling growth stage till they are full grown.

That red trailer has settings so you can just open the back door and unload using a conveyor belt at the bottom of the trailer
You can use a worker to unload at a sell point and set it too loop while you focus on the harvesting
Watching him drive everywhere to sell stuff or move his tractors around is frustrating when he could get the ai to do it
I keep trying to get the looping to work and everytime it tells me somethings unreachable. Super annoying

The trailer is 3 in 1 a tipper and walkingfloor and you can also load pallets in to the trailer with the walkingfloor bij pressing U😉👍🏻

You should make sure to wash off the loaned equipment before returning it.
Also it'd be cool if you went to the shop to buy/rent equipment
You can use the Panther with the wider header and it works just fine.
The Ropa is so nice, also the Beet Mouse, but it's a little bit hard to work with🤩

Don't know if anyone else has suggested this but to get that pallet out the ground, just use an autoload trailer, then sell the trailer straight after to keep it realistic, just a thought
I can't imagine that getting the screens to work would be that difficult, wouldn't it be almost as easy as getting the mirrors to work? Or alternativly put in mirrors that shows the tool working.

On my way home yesterday I saw the jcb headquarters. That was pretty cool
sugarbeet contains about 75% water. so i'll go with that. 1000l of water has a weight of a metric ton. and the Truck you are driving, has (at least in germany) a maximal allowed weight (Truck, trailer and load combined) of 40 tons. you were hauling 59800l, with only the weight of Water (i believe they would be slightly heavier) it would be 59,8 tons only on load. No wonder the Truck struggles. I was surprised it didnt dig itself in, while you were trying to get it out of the field.
Willows and Maple take like 2 years to germinate for some reason. Farmer Klein has a good video about tree growth. Every other tree will be fully grown by two years, willow and maple after 4. Gonna be a long wait.
In theory programming the screens should be no different than programming the side mirrors. It's just setting the camera to show different views in the windowed spaces. But it could potentially be a memory hog, so I can imagine why they could be hesitant to program it. Maybe in the next game. I would like to see the monitors display accurately but also vanilla gps guidance added in. It would be a fantastic reason to upgrade tractors and harvesters, especially in the start farm game modes. They could intentionally start you with older tractors and a harvester that do not have gps to make purchasing a gps guided one a goal for the farmer.
You should put a front loader on what ever tractor you use for hauling grapes so you don’t have to make two trips
You should get your workers to drive your vehicles from places you forgot them while you are doing other jobs especially when you need them!

Typically willows are found near water, idk if they made it that way in the game or not, but I've only ever seen willows by water in-game too.

Maybe use the workers a bit more to go and fetch the likes of your grape trailer and in the previous episode where you brought the JCB and then the lorry up to F12. Be good to show off those capabilities a bit more
The red sugarbeet harvester has the header already attached and would have probably been cheaper to lease...and it is decent
I'm now looking at getting a beet harvester and had been looking at the Grimme because it is cheaper but has the same width and speed. When I saw the thumbnail I was hoping to find out some reason why the Rora was better but alas I think he just picked the most expensive :D

If you go onto the owned vehicles area you can actually get the weight of the item plus the stuff stored in it. For example, the large motherbin when full of soybeans for me was around 180 tons!!
Hey dagger, why not just lease a tipper that hooks up to your lorry? Its literally designed to pull incredible weight with 400 ish hp
I had a video recommended to me on YT the other week called "Sugarbeet Mafia". Pretty interesting and I agree. These guys are balls to the wall for the harvest with 3 or 4 dozen people. It's crazy. Worth checking out if you haven't seen it.
@daggerwin, wagon tilts due the the engine being an inline 6 and the crank sahft rotates one way so makes the engine move one way but you only get that with inline engines not with v engines, so the lorry isnt usatble it is jsut under sallot of load, basically, and cheers for all the videos :)

I actually harvested the big field (26) for potatoes. It took 3 ingame days and 2 IRL days with an AI helper running the harvester while I unloaded a trailer at the farmer's market
Fun fact: this was a contract and the trailer provided by the contract was not accepting potatos, I had to rent a trailer that could hold potatos
WOW.. 32K in leased equipment to get to those sugar beets! For those kind of fees I don't know why he planted just one field of sugar beets. That leased investment cuts super deep into the profits unless your harvesting a huge load of them.
One trailer load covers leasing costs...

Nothing wrong with storing it at the train station. It's only temporary storage while waiting for further transport. Also it'll have to be transported in several trips anyway, so it wouldn't have to stay long. The train can only carry 120,000 liter wich is just over 2 trailer loads.
You should use the shovel to make sugar beet cut with to load them, only downside is thats only for a front loader
