Loved your chilled review of this beautiful car. Probably the best looking car available although it's a shame you can't opt for no 4x4 version. Also the prices for special paint is ridiculous. I'm no fan of carbon fiber so would have the Modena version ❤
Thanks! Yeah, it's a little odd Maserati hasn't put out press cars for the big mags to test and review. So far every car my local dealer has received, they've sold quickly. I'm waiting for a Trofeo to come in to drive that.
The Trofeo version has incredible performance. But tbh, the previous generation 4.7 is still the one for me in terms of bang for Buck, v8 sound and styling. Massive pice hike for 30 extra horses
They just needed a serious refresh of the previous Generation as this design can’t beat the Pinifarina gorgeous timeless design it sure this vehicle will sell as expected because they came back really late in the market i will say that the true MC Sportline of 2018/2019 is the best car to buy and keep as a collector
@@user-dq1kr6zc2tah doesn’t need to be associated with Ferrari to be worth more. If anything it’ll more valuable because it’s more reliable now with the Nettuno (At the expense of the sound). And that interior is gorgeous.
Price is not linked to performance only. Production cost is a mayor factor everybody does not keep in count. Estimated amount build, new tooling costs (new dev vehicles or facelifts) are just some of tge unseen costs. Good and informative vid
Hi, this GranTurismo Modena trim is awesome but I got a little disappointed about the back seats this price wise Maserati should have made comfortable seats in the back also rear trunk is small we can't fit a late suitcase I will this car looks great however you got a little wrong in this review Trofeo trim is as far as my observation the 542 hp not in 550 I liked a lot, especially Maserati trident emblem thanks
For $200k this thing sounds uninspiring. You'd be a complete fool to pay full MSRP for this. Look at the V8 Ferrari hand-built engine models. They depreciate a lot, which is great because you can get terrific value buys. Without Ferrari involved in Alfa Romeo, this model will not have the same sales figures as before. It's a shame, but just buy older models. People practically giving them away because nobody wants them.
I just got a 2024 Maserati GT Trefeo. As soon as I was finished signing the paperwork, the manager tells me that I can't take the car because of a recall regarding the suspension system. On top of that the parts they need can't be shipped by air, they have to arrive by boat from Italy for some reason, which will take at least 3 weeks. I'm just waiting for my title to come in so maybe I can dump this on some other poor shmuck. DO NOT BUY THIS CAR!!!
No, I said I like to see crucial read-outs and gauges like the oil temp, transmission temp, and battery voltage. Hence why I specifically point to the gauges.

Great review....weird how this car doesn't get big hype on media.

Stunningly beautiful car.
The best looking in the world imo.

Stunning car wow
Nice but really wonder how the reliability will be

It’s sounds so much like my Giulia QV! Sounds good for sure but I kinda wish they made this Maserati sound more unique.
Is this Modena blue?
lets hope this gt don’t depreciate like all them other ones😭
Depreciation is actually the opportunity for buyers to get deals. This one is less Ferrari now so will be worth even less.
Shit I hope so, I want one badly.

What‘s the Name of the blue?
Beautiful blue is the name
Replica Pininfarina 🤣🤣🤣. 1 Gen is the Masterpiece 🔱
They are indeed timeless
Prices are just out of control

550HP metric (PS), which converts to 542HP in the US. Maserati uses both figures on their press materials.
Once that screen goes bad (and it will),that car goes straight to the junkyard. Replacements won't be easy.
It should be fine. It's a Stellantis (Chrysler) product, not Maserati.

Give it 2 years and it’ll be only $70k 😂
100%. Once Ferrari left Maserati lost all cache.
This V6 sounds like crap. They really needed Ferrari because some how Ferrari got their V6 to sound amazing.
This look just like the Maserati from 2008, come on it’s been years why does it look the same
aint worth 200K when you can get the MC20 for 240K
I have to agree with you
Maybe a value @ $120k but not @ $200k. Way overpriced. Maserati's depreciate precipitously.
Silly silly price, especially considering you will be able to have one for $50k in a few years....

Wow, that's insane!
@@lockingdiff No, that's just bullshit.
Wow, sorry to hear that. I would be putting it mildly, terribly disappointed.
Move
That's not how this works.
Looks the same, sounds worse, way overpriced.
An enthusiast of sports cars like the tech. Wow. What an oxymoron
