Mitake 'New Soul' V4

Bouldering in Japan at one of the most famous areas Mitake.
I had the opportunity to go bouldering in Japan at one of the most famous climbing areas Mitake. Located in Ome, Mitake has some of the most famous boulders and test pieces in Japan. 'New Soul' is the easier of the two climbs located on this face of Hikage Rock. This climb start from the right hand side of the face and connects with 'Mine no Yu' V5/6 for the same top out. This 20ft boulder is quite scary. The platform you see is luckily about 6ft above ground level. There is a gap in front of that between the platform and the face where you do NOT want to fall in! Equally as scary is overshooting the platform on the jagged rocks! Which is exactly what I did before the send! You can see the full video of the trip here.
