How is Sam even able to wield the shield with no super strength or agility? Should have been Bucky, Steves best friend.
You don't strength to wield the shield. John Walker did it and Black Widow fought with it in Avengers 2. Clint threw it to Cap in Avengers 2 also. The serum is not what made Steve Cap America. He was selected because of his heart and morals. Steve chose Sam for a reason. Sam was hit best friend. Bucky and Steve weren't really that close after First Avenger, Winter Soldier he was a villain that tried to kill Steve. Civil War was more Steve trying to save him and clear his name. Infinity War, he was in Wakanda hiding out, Endgame Steve retired. Sam spent more time or just as much time with Sreve and followed him no questions asked, even got locked up helping Steve. Steve picked the right guy. Falcon morals are similar to Steve. Bucky is still unstable, trying to find himself and will be on the Thunderbolts with misfits.
@@kicknowledgesmith8608 Throwing the shield to someone isn't the same as wielding it the way Steve does in battle. We saw when regular powered Bucky picked it up in the first film when the shield was hit it sent him flying because he didn't have super strength to back it up. To me anyone picking up the vibranium shield and being able to use it at the same level as Steve is like anyone clipping web shooters to their wrists and being able to swing around New York like Spider-man. It's all well and good saying it's Steves heart that made him Captain America but he would have still been useless in a fight without the super strength.
He's gonna get cut in half after the shield returns to him

@@JurassicRod Bucky wasn't selected, time to let it go Also Falcon trained with Steve at Avengers HQ, he'll be fine. Sam is stronger than Steve was prior to the serum. Steve was frail and needed it badly. Bucky wasn't an Avenger.
That's exactly what the Doctor strange 2 trailer was implying, when i first watched that i assumed he'd be fighting some evil version of himself with Wanda helping him. So seeing a completely different version of that in the cinema confused the hell out of me.
Don't forget that movie did six weeks of emergency shooting between Thanksgiving and Christmas, a time of year where Hollywood normally shuts down.
Let's face it, the creativity that this franchise had is all but gone.
But that's the best part - creativity can always find a new direction. That's what makes creativity so enthralling and fascinating. We have had a distinct LACK of creativity in the MCU for far too long, and all they need to do is embrace creativity again and they'll be right back on track. And all that entails is complete abandonment of agenda and ideology and a return to simple creativity. A focus on what sells and not what's hip and trendy. Avoidance of the fabled "modern audience" which has been established as non-existent. It's a fact. How do I know? Because all these movies and shows made for that same fabled modern audience have all failed. It failed because that audience doesn't exist. So a return to provide entertainment to the audience that DOES exist is all they need.
You make it sound like it's on life support. It's not. It's just been put on a shelf and simply needs to be taken off the shelf and put back into action.
The creativity of Hollywood and the gaming industry is shot. Not just this franchise. All we get is remakes and garbage.

There won't be a reprieve for at least a couple years, and that's only IF these companies actually decide to abandon DEI for dollar dollar dollar $$$.

They were both Cap in the comics, but I agree so hard that the mantle should've been passed to Bucky.
Nope, Steve Rogers should have never retired. Bucky as Cap makes even less since in this story. He just completed therapy for his PTSD, trying to find himself. Why would the government give him the shield?! He just got a pardon for being a terrorist. Sam is more like Steve than Bucky is when it comes to leadership and morals. The serum isn't what made Steve Captain America, it was his heart and morals. His jumped on a grenade without hesitation and stood up to bullies. Even as Cap he fought Ultron and Thanos. The serum helped 0 in those fights. That was all Steve. Steve returned in the comics multiple times, fans didn't want Bucky as Cap in the comics either. Steve Rogers is the one and only Cap.
Falcon becoming cap could've worked but they did the transition in the worst way possible.

@@stoicghost4313 Fair enough, hopefully the re shoots made it better. I'm interested in the film. The trailer looked fine to me. I just like Steve Rogers, not because of his color. He's was my favorite MCU character. I believe he will return like the comics. I expect him to appear in secret Wars, especially if Cap 4 is not received well.
The mantle was passed to Bucky when Cap died and when Cap became old then Sam Wilson took the mantle , the mantle should have been passed to Bucky because it was foreshadowed he will be the next cap since the first avenger

When I heard that Raimi was gonna helm it, I suddenly remembered the disaster that was Spider-Man 3, and I knew that this was gonna be more of the same...and I was right. It was Spider-Man 3 all over again.

But I doubt that Nucti gets a third season as there will come a point where money talks. I can’t really see Disney paying Sony more money for a show that doesn’t generate views on Disney+, while BBC already had problems financing Dr Who at the higher ratings Jodie still got.

I feel bad for Mr Mackie. He's one of those actors that does it because he genuinely loves it. He's not the type to do a movie and then furk off to some private island. When he's not shooting a movie, he's on stage doing theatre. And, the guy can quote Shakespeare like he wrote it himself. I hope he can get out of this black hole Marvel has sucked him into.

The only reason many of us watched Captain Marvel 1 is that we were told it was 'must view' That was a lie. The 2nd film flopped.
I was hyped for the MCU then, but I wasn't hyped enough to watch that crap. Didn't even look like it was gonna be important.
Absolutely this. Back then I watched every new MCU movie in cinema. But Captain Marvel was the one, where I was afraid that she would ruin Endgame for me. For me, Thor the Dark World was the worst MCU movie up to this point. But that one didn’t make me afraid of it ruining other movies like Captain Marvel did. And honestly, if there was a cut of Endgame without Brie Larson, I would have watched it a second time since its cinematic release (like most other MCU phase 1-3 movies).

The Marvel franchise pretty much ended with End Game. The only thing good I've seen since was Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3, which was an interesting backstory of how Rocket came to be.
And even then Endgame sucked.

I honestly think Tim Blake Nelson is an amazing actor! But even he won’t be able to save this pile of garbage.

The only doc strange 2 i ever wanted was Scott Derrickson 's original plot, featuring the iconic villain Nightmare and strange and nightmare alone fighting across dream dimension...not any other garbage storyline
Not interested in Captain Falcon. The MCU ended with Endgame with a nod to No Way Home. Everything else has been shit.

Considering how badly they screwed up She-Hulk, Marvel Studios had the wisdom to shut down production of Daredevil halfway through the series, fire the show runners and all the She-Hulk writers, and rebuild the show from the start. But if they just solidified scripts and didn't let executives meddle with them, they would be able to identify problems at the beginning and wouldn't have to re-film every single production.
In a real multiverse, Demayo's script leak was made and made 1.5 billion at the box office. In the other universe, we saw Dr. Strange 3 that introduced Mephisto, Steve Rogers return and Magik and was well received.
I love Falcon. He was an amazing character. A great Vietnam Veteran who connected to a WW2 veteran of Steve Rogers. A powerful character that I have loved since the mid 80's (cause I read the 70's stuff religiously). Destroyed a possibility of praising the first black American comic star to have his own book. Making race the MAIN point takes out the point. Falcon being black was obvious... Falcon being a badass and saying no matter what I suffer with or how fair it is... I will be great. He was great. Falcon was never a victim no matter what was done to him in Vietnam or in Harlem. Just outside Hell's Kitchen which is why he has a great relationship with Daredevil

They easily could have save this. It should be about Sam not really becoming Captain America and finally handing over the shield to Bucky and Sam being The Falcon. I think people would be really receptive of that. Steve always looked up to Bucky and I'm sure a lot of his integrity came from Bucky. Of course because of his past, Bucky would not immediately accept the role, but finally accept role.

The Thunderbolts is likely going have a secret leader that hasnt been revealed yet. The Primary leader of the Thunderbolts is Red Hulk. They get thier name based off his nickname in the war of Thunderbolt Ross. They probably waiting reveal Red Hulk's involvement till after the movie.
Harrison Ford is not going to sign up for a Disney tv show, on the current interviews he's doing, he doesn't sound impressed with what he's done on the movie.
@paulrees3861 it is true that he doesn't care about the role. But Thunderbolts is a movie not a show. Disney brought Harrison back in TRoS after TFA. he famously hates Han as a character.
You could be forgiven for thinking h-wood is just a scheme at this point.
From a movie stand point . Bucky makes more sense to take Steve's gimmick.. he is sort of a giant dirty murderer and would have reason to dawn a mask and take a happier approach..

I stopped going to theatres for marvel movies after Endgame although I did see all of the Deadpool films; I also skipped the Disney+ Marvel series. I'm not interested in seeing Falcon Cap so will save my money there as well. I was hoping for a new Blade or Judge Dredd movie but those hopes are dwindling. Falcon is not Captain America, he hasn't even taken the Super Soldier serum so how does it make sense for him to take on a Hulk? The movie trailer looks like a Marvel/Disney series. Mackie is a good actor but he does not have the presence that Chris Evans had while playing the role.
I wish Captain America stayed a trilogy, thought it was a rare trilogy with three great entries. Captain America: The Winter Soldier is still the best Marvel Studios film.

I thought DS2 was a fun movie I think I gave it like a 7.5/8 if I recall correctly and Wong dying as a cliffhanger hmmm DEI intervened forsure😆 that could've been a fun movie as well though.

Steve picked Sam for the same reasons the scientist chose him! Steve should have never been retired, Endgame messed up so much stuff. Sharon actor was basically a waste. The comics are better, she kills him due to brainwashing and then Bucky gets the shield but Steve returns when the Serum kicked in to revive him. The MCU messed up Bucky character. They should have let Steve see Peggy in the past and then let that be it. The time travel rules and multiverse stuff is silly anyway, it wouldn't have hurt a thing, honestly.

Not interested in this new captain america brave new world no steve Rogers to me this is just a fake version of him i just don't see captain america unless they bring back chris evans and make a film when he went back in time from end game then stayed with peggy carter back in the 40's and 50's style giving that Captain America look and feel like it was from the first avenger.
That's how you can bring him back before he gets to old for the part as one off film and at the end you see him sitting down on the stone bench waiting for his friends to arrive at the end of End game.

It makes absolutely no sense that he gave it to Falcon. Bucky has been his friend for literal decades. He fought WW2 with him, went against the govt and the Avengers for him, but then in the end he gives it to Falcon...Sorry not interested at all. Not to mention, Bucky is his equal in combat. Which all Falcon is, is a guy with some Stark tech, and a couple Uzis. Let us also remember the last superhero movie by a "indie director" was Eternals, before that Fantastic Four...How did they turn out. That does sound way better of a Strange movie, but there is no way they would let that happen. They would be crazies would be screaming racism.

Steve Roger's himself chose Falcon in the comic to be the next Captain America. He didn't choose Bucky. Bucky became Captain America later down the road after Falcons Captain America went missing

I'd say more cause bucky has done so much dirt it makes sense for him to redeem himself. Plus it could create an interesting conflict if he removes the mask and people find out it's him, plus superheros hurt by him can go after him, what he's done in his past. It just makes more sense for bucky to be cap.

I believe Bruce Wayne intended Robin to eventually become Batman. Bucky was Captain America's Robin. Probably wouldn't have made a better movie, though. I wouldn't care much about Robin being Batman either.

Why should of been Bucky? I get both of them either getting the mantle. I get they’ve done him in-properly for a lot of people but with right treatment it could be good.
Bucky has super strength and agility, was Steves equal in combat. I have no idea how Sam's even able to wield the shield with no super strength or agility. Falcon is a good character but he's just a guy with some wing suit tech. Not in the same league as Steve and Bucky. Same with emotional depth.
If memory serves, and it may be wrong, Bucky was the first baton pass. Bucky went on to be the first non Rogers Captain America. Falcon had the baton passed much later on. So in keeping with canon, they should've passed to Bucky first and let him have a run, then passed it off to Falcon.
