The Grizzly 700 is the best all around utility four wheeler ever made. It always was. The problem with the other quads #1 is they don’t have Yamaha motors. They are tuned modest from the factory with exhaust and air intake they are monsters and they last forever.
I’m impressed. I have a 2011 grizzly 700, barkers exhaust, tuner, and machined sheave from coop45. But I’m thinking the new 2019s are beast. Looks like they have come a long way

I've owned an 08 700 and now i have a 2015 700. There is a huge difference between the too. The 08 would pull your pants down and spank you. They had a better motor, better clutch, stiffer suspension with more ground clearance and were narrower. Ive done the EHS mods with the barker and my 2015 still loses to an 08. That being said id never buy another brand of sport utility. My 2015 has 14,000kms now and runs as strong as it did with 4000kms. If you get a 07-09 grizzly the only thing you need to do is the pod mod and your set. Great video though!

Not familiar with a grizzly, but my sportsman with a worn out belt and glazed clutch sheeves dont pull as good as my buddies does with a good belt. Air filte, valve adjustment, tires, lift kits, spring rates, lots affect power
I have the exact same quad but 100% stock. It absolutely will not wheelie in high on level ground with me riding it. I'm 213lbs. I'm guessing yours does it so well because of the mods. What tuner are you using because I need one?
Nice video. I love my 16 Grizzly. I've been thinking about Barkers but I like quiet exhaust now a days. I had a Raptor 660 with Monster Pipe Exhaust. I have the complete airbox with lid and tuner, and I've had the 2R Racing tip on and off. How fast could you switch from stock exhaust to Barker? It looks pretty easy to change.
The grizzly is a great machine, well built, reliable and tough. The 19 and up machines wheelie a bit better because they have lower gearing then the 18s I believe. Power wise It is on the low side in my opinion. It may not seem that way just riding it or comparing it to a king quad or maybe even a brute force but, line it up with any of the twin cylinders from can am and you will notice a difference very quickly. My 14 grizzly 700 was a great bike, but my can am 800 eats it up in the power department. Would love to see a twin cylinder from Yamaha!
Best thing I ever did to my 18’ Grizzly Was install a Barkers EHS tuner and EHS airbox with lid AIS delete ROX bars. New bighorns to replace the cheap stock MAXXIS. It’s a completely a different machine
I’ve got a 2018 grizzly 700 and it’s bone stock other that 28inch mega Mayhems on it, and it will not wheelie for the love of my life, I am only 80lb but all it does is spin, I know it’s got the power to do it, it just spins and I don’t know why but it makes me so aggravated when I can’t wheelie it
Did you do any clutch mods on the Grizzly? I think I'm gonna start with the clutch on mine first, just haven't decided for sure what size tires/wheels im gonna run. For riding comfort and all around performance I'd like to stick with stock size 12" wheels with no bigger than 26" tires, just haven't found wheels I really like in 12". Was thinking about going with the Big Horn 1.0 (or something similar) for tires. After I get the cluching tuned just right for the tires/wheels, I'll probably move on to programmer/intake/exhaust.
99% off the time its the rider. They blame the quad for their inability to ride. I can ride mine on the back wheels all day every day. Awesome review mate

I’ve had it at high 70’s mph out front of my property. My brother came over last week and he has a 2018 Kodak which is brother to the Grizzly. He got a smoken deal on it. Not sure if it is modified I’ll have to ask him. His Grizzly has a bit more grunt power down low but my king quad pulls smoothly up the top MPH’s. I recently ordered a Velocity CUI and installed it. I think it’s done wonders for the low end torque and I swear it hit 80 mph (on board speedometer) on the straight away smooth as butter. I’ve taken each quad out for same test ride and they are all so different but unique characteristics. My sons Can Am 800 is a beast and that totac motor is no joke it can get out of control. So do you think the grizzly is the better option then the king quad comfort wise that’s what’s most important to me thanks
Hey man I have a 2017 grizzly 700 that I just put a HMF slip on and a tuner. The tuner is set up the exact same way is yours. In this video did you crank up yours because mine doesn’t have the power like yours does to do a wheelie like that

Shouldn't 2019 grizz be fuel injected why and how are you adjusting pilots and float bowl..
Im not they are fuel injected
Ok. But you are mentioning carbs and pilots. That's normally associated with carburetor. Then you have a tuner. I was confused.
How much hp did you gain with the 4 mods?
Love it I got a 2014 and yes she will pull up there's a couple of mods I did show pull up
My kind of review. Love it.
I’m debating the grizzly or king quad I had a old 660 grizzly years ago and loved it. It was so comfy and man it took a beating. I now have a 2021 outlander 850 xt but I honestly don’t trust the reliability and all that power is sweet but useless in the tight rocky trails I’m in most days.. So do you think the grizzly is the better option then the king quad comfort wise that’s what’s most important to me thanks
Kingquad all day over grizzly ,I had a 19 grizzly it was junk Yamaha sold it for me
What tires do you have on it? (and size)? Surely the stock tires aren't hooking up that good.
Yeap stock tires man I love them
More of this quad please
Will do
Hey man I have a 2017 grizzly 700 that I just put a HMF slip on and a tuner. The tuner is set up the exact same way is yours. In this video did you crank up yours because mine doesn’t have the power like yours does to do a wheelie like that
What tuner you have
It’s a HMF tuner
I have bigger tires than stock and a slight lift. And I also don’t have the air box mod on mine like you have.
We spent $15K on our XTR, I Absolutely Broke it in EXACTLY how the .manufacturer recommended. 100% Agree, we are not smarter than all the Engineers out there!! 💪💪👊
Great video!!! I’ve been waiting for a 19 modded grizzly!!! Are they the quiet barkers or the normal? And is it REALLY LOUD? I do a lot of riding in my local woods
.mine is very loud
I have some other reviews of it on my page
Hellcat channel sweet I’ll check it out!!! Was the tuner difficult to figure out?
This makes me want to mod my king quad. Lol. I'm getting better tires shortly. I wish mine came in that blue color.
Sounds to me like when you try an do a wheelie it wants to cut out.....but i may be mistaken.
Nope I'm letting off gas feathering it
My 07 grizzly700 lifted with quadzilla mud tires and a magnum exhaust and header will walk everywhere I’ve had a few holy f@ck moments! My favourite thing about the grizzly is the throttle response
Love this video! Sorry I’m a noob, What are the big 4 mods? I have a 660 and wondering if they would work for me too!
airbox. lid tuner exhaust
Love it wish I went with that. But I got a can am outlander. Love the videos
Canam has good power
Hellcat channel Great power but that power also breaks a lot of things also. But you pay to play. Love your videos. Keep them up!
What tuner did you buy?
Most underrated quad
Yep
Great review great machine! The mods do make a difference but it is also fine without them. I had to clutch mine (EPI) to deal with altitude. Makes the ATV much more snappy AKA more fun on the power.
What year is yours
@@banshee100 2017 with the 708cc engine. I have done 2500miles so far. I have an Elka suspension that really makes it feel smooth. Check out my channel I have a walk around video there. Cheers.
Great video!
Does your Grizzly have a wrench?
I wonder if it will wheelie like that with the added weight of a wrench
It's does not yet
This is a 2019 is the newer version of the old 686cc lots of torque. I have a 2016 its a 708cc its a dog compared to 686 . 708 are subaru engines. Mine has mods that make it as torquey as 686cc like machine sheave on primary and 4 Kodiak weights . It launches now with 27 mud bugs. But engines are different from 2016 to 2018. Thats why yamaha went back to 686 it has more bottom end torque.
Well that's good to know man thanks for the info
I had a old 500 and always lost traction before power. It’s a 700 I don’t get what people are saying. Unless they mean towing trailers?
Great channel. Very easy to watch. Cheers
THANKS
Fuck ya. Hammering on the grizz. That’s how I ride mine!
so ik you have the new kingquad, does she wheelie like your grizzly, and do you have a video on why you sold the grizzly
grizzly was a pile cases started leaking
@@banshee100 thanks for replying, im close to buying a new atv
With your modifications. Have you tested it against a raptor 700 or the yfz450?
Very powerful grizzly, great in the mud too.
Nice quad I love 09 SE. What tunner did you go with?
Yes tuner
Ehs tuner
That's what I was thinking. Looks like Andy does alot of testing on those tunes. If been looking for one for a while but I just didnt want to get the cheap one. And watching his video I'm very impressed on what he does. Thanks again man.
Love my grizzly, although a 1000cc grizz would be awesomeness!!!
I’m just curious but why didn’t you get a 1000 2 cylinder machine for can am or Polaris
Canam and polaris are problems
What are the mods you got on it?
After reading these comments I feel the need to say something.
"All you're base are belong to us"
I dont understand
How much speed did the Grizzly gain after all the mods?
None still 64 mph top speed ,hut gains where through rpms
Great video. What do you think about a slip on exhaust that needs "repacked" every 20 hours?
Not sure to earlier to tell
@@banshee100 asking cause I got an exhaust for my wildcat and the manual says to repack it every 20 hours.
What kind of computer and editing system do you use?
My cell
The one mod you recommended to do is the air box mod. Why is that?
I own one with the tuner does it give it a better top speed what have u had it doin thanks
it's slow 62mph
Hellcat channel and there’s no way to byepass anything or is it factory governed
I have the same machine and I way 140 pounds I’m 16 are you holding her down when you start the wheelie ?
Holding it down?
Full throttle ? Sorry
