So, when moving to new hexes, you know how it deletes whatevers just lying around the ship?
It does NOT delete anything on a plinth/pedastal/storage spot, obviously...
But less obvious is that it doesn't delete whatever the players are holding either.
So you have extra storage slots to carry between fights in your very hands!
Just make sure to pick it all back up after the fights are over.
(If this got patched out or something, my apologies, my brother discovered it when he played awhile back)
Yeah, I watched a couple other people play this game and they found out that you can carry stuff between encounters
Btw, You can recycle the ammo supply instead of a single shot. It changes the ammo type, You can slo load the seagulls into the cannon

I would not bring you two on adventures that require choosing between an actual powerful relic and the cursed golden fake. If some thing has an ammo capacity of TWO, it usually means it can do something to compensate for that shortcoming!🤣

Seeing you and squirrel play this made me want to check it out and found out it's also on switch, so I bought it for me and my girl to play split-screen. without seeing you guys figure out the mechanics though we wouldn't have known about the broken charging on cannons. I've seen other people here on UA-cam use smaller things and stacking bonuses to get specific effects but the loading glitch on the charge mechanic seems to be about the most busted thing available when combined with leaning into one person speccing for loading effects, and the other focusing on cannon projectile and crit effects, kindof like what you guys were already unintentionally doing before you found the uncapped mechanic itself.

you can load ANYTHING into a cannon. chest. load it. bird. load it. crab. load it. if you can pick it up... you might be able to load it.

The overloading of cannons is extremely OP
Duplicating is pretty useful if say you got two statues of a bird to lay eggs insanely faster for one powerful bird that lays eggs for you as ammo, but that would mean hard committing to eggs and nothing else, which means repairs will be trickier and that is rather a dangerous strategy to go for.

If you charge multiple times on the single shot charge cannon it's more effective and can do a ridiculous amount of damage, I've had a run where I got to 330000 damage on a single shot though that was with duping the artifacts with glitches(ricocheting a harpoon at them)
So apparently you can also put the seagulls and crabs in your guns. 🤣

Don't know if anybody else has said this so I'm sorry if I'm a repeating Ricky, but if you are holding an item while all the pedestal slots are full you will carry it to the next space.

Just a heads up, at the place where you "recycle" something after a boss you can take a whole ammo pedestal, and not just a single piece of ammo.
