Amazing. Absolutely a game changer! I've struggled with waste yarn that sometimes just doesn't want to come off. Very frustrating! So thank you for this tutorial. I can't wait to try it!
Thank you so much for this tutorial!! I’ve been spending more time trying to remove the cast on waste yarn than on the actual project. It was getting so very frustrating. This really IS a game changer!
I stopped doing a project because it meant losing a lot of waste yarn on that one side that I always found difficult to remove so I just cut it and tossed it in the trash. I can now go back to my project and not have to worry about wasting scrap yarn and time. This is a serious game changer. Thanks so much!
How freaking awesome is this! I'm new and a beginner to using the knitting machine and I have been using the needle and thread to cast off. This method is going to be such a life saver. Thank you 😊
Thanks so much for sharing this method. In addition to making waste yarn easier to remove from the cast on end of the tube, it makes it so much easier to see and pick up the correct loops/threads when closing the ends no matter which sewing, crochet or weaving stitches you prefer. Very well done video as well. Concise, clear and easy to understand. Thanks again for sharing this!
Thank you so much for sharing this tutorial. I’m having so much trouble casting off on the knitting machine and it’s taking so much time removing the cast on waste yarn. I will use this method.❤

I’m picking up knitting again after a long hiatus. I want to add a decorative crochet to a scarf and was looking at how best to do that with a waste yarn to cast on. Holy cow, this is a game changer.

Does this method also work with the flat panel method?
I haven’t used it myself but I don’t see why not :)
Would you use this on a hat with waste yarn where you don't want to close off both sides but you want to secure all stitches one by one, 22,43, 48 ...
Yes :) this works for any occasion where you’d normally use waste yarn.
Do you use the same method for the hat
If you use waste yarn then yes you can use this method, I don’t use waste yarn for normal beanies so don’t need this method.
Ok thank you
My 3 years old nephew wants me to knit him a scarf and beanie in Spider-Man colours do you have these colours in gynet Aran yarn please thank you x
I don’t have cygnet aran in stock just yet, but as soon as my bank balance allows I’ll be ordering it in.
Okay thank you
Super
Would this work on making a beanie?
If you’re using waste yarn for your beanie then yes definitely!
Thank you I love this. I will try this for sure✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍😁😁
