- I love cooking with stoves as, you all know. I wanted to bring something fun and creative to the table with this one. I decided to use a pot that most people own. I really hope you enjoy and Share this. Check out www.fireboxstove.com
awesome dad..getting the kids involved so young ..something they will cherish forever trust me!
Don't apologise for making a baking video!
Your idea to use the Stanley cup was great, and your improvised coals rack and shelf were quite inspired!
As was the baking pan, complete with pull tab!
The proof, as they say is in the pudding, or in this case, the cake, which looked absolutely delicious.
I figured that your two little helpers would be eager to test the cake, and of course they were.
Thank you for your lovely, inspiring baking video, subscribed.
I appreciate that. Thanks a lot.
Finally! Someone that doesn't want to live off of boiled water! Great video.
I appreciate you stopping by! Have a great one.
Not afraid to try something different. 👍🏻 THANKS
This comment is too good!
Backup plan - Ramen Noodles....
;hhhhhahahahahahahah
A great thought to convert use of the cup. The addition of an interior floor is the essential part to true conversion to an oven. Revolutionary dude! My mind is spinning with new uses. Thanks so much for sharing.
Love it! I'm a big Stanley cup fan. Can't wait to try this!!
Kudos for innovating! Inspires me to think "outside the box." Thanks for making and sharing this.
Awesome Shane! Great ideas as always! I love this horizontal baking thing, I think the rounded surface helps spread the heat better than the flat bottom of a vertical pot making it so you don't over heat the pot's material as much getting the job done. Thanks for introducing me to the idea. And I love that it works just as well in something as small as the Stanley cup. So Cool!
Right same thoughts very smart and out the box.. or cup!!(=✌💚
pretty impressive, I was surprised how well it worked for such a small container, thanks for experimenting and showing
Kent Survival thanks a lot. I love trying out new thing. Take care.
Wow.. I would have never thought of that. Great vid, keep baking.
That is amazing and very ingenious ! :)
All these years later this video earned you another sub.
Just received my Stanley Cook Cup (oven) and will be going to do this, Thanks.
.
Thanks for the awesome idea. Can’t wait to try this.
Have a great time, trying new things!
Always enjoy seeing new uses for the Stanley pot. Appreciate your creativity. Thumbs up, my friend.
Awesome!! Very creative. I can't wait to try it myself.
I've got lots of Stoves...the main two stoves that have won me over have been the Firebox 5" and the Nano. The Nano is just so quick and easy. I used it to bake with a zebra pot back a few video ago as well. It's made well and has so many options.
Shane Coffey Outdoors no joke eh? so much to learn here
This is awesome I picked this up at Walmart today and then put it back down and decided to do research and you just sold me! Going to buy this now!! I subscribed Thanks
Fantastic demonstration!
Great idea! Great result! Great fun for the taste tester squad! And I appreciate yet another good use for my Stanley cook pot. Be picking up some biscuit mix next time I'm in the grocery store. Thanks again.

Really awesome idea. I will give that a try, too. I‘ve already seen the video from firebox stove with the billy can modification for baking. So yours ist the smaller version and less expensive. Cool stuff, Shane. Thanks for sharing, even if it‘s a few years ago.
Greetings from South Africa! I bought one of those when I was in the USA a while back, I love it...I'll be using it next week when I spend the week alone at the fishing hut...thanks for the great tip!

Definitely going to give it a try. Been following Steve and the firebox journeys too but never considered a smaller alternative to the billy pot bakes so thank you for the successful experiment & idea!
Clever idea my friend, thank you so much for sharing. I will give it a try on my trip to the Sierras next week. All the best to you and your family. 🤗
Good idea! I never thought of that. Muffins, biscuits, etc. plus it didn’t melt the plastic tab.
Love my Stanley!
Nicely done!
Great idea! Great father! Smart Video! Thanks
Stephen Mitchell thanks so much for the very nice comment. We sure do have a good time. Thanks for stopping by.
That was awesome Shane! I only got my Stanley nesting set a few months ago but haven't used it, this idea is brilliant! So I don't have to just eat tinned food or cook rice and packet pastas. Having a small loaf of bread like that could really lift the spirits of the group.
Great instructable. Simple and very doable. Gonna try it out with my Stanley cookset. Cheers!
I hope you have a great time doing it. It’s fun and interesting to watch the process.
Good idea; got me thinking. Thanks.
Cool video bro.. glad your idea turned into something your whole family could enjoy.
Appreciate that so much. It’s just a cool way to have fun!
Great video Shane, I would have never thought of that.

OMG!!! Your two boys are so cute. I’m sure they’ll grow up and be the fine gentlemen. Wish you best of luck.
Wonderful video and successful baking.... Thanks for sharing
This is the coolest hack for the Stanley cup! Great vid, and I must try this hack and recipe per the rave reviews from your toughest critics/taste testers!
Lol. Thanks a lot watching. Yeah, they’re a tough crowd for sure!
Great video didn't think about using it as a oven and also I'm kind of jealous of all that plantain around you that would make a great salad
Wow, great idea, Shane! You implemented it nicely with the Esbit accessory plate inside the Stanley cup to hold the pan, and the DIY "baking rack" on top for the coals. Steve would be proud.
William Burr hey thanks! It’s just a lot of fun fooling around with the Stoves. I really appreciate you coming along.
Very clever! 👍
Nice! I will be trying this. Thanks!
Very creative and fun. Thanks
Awesome job!

The amount of plantains in your yard is crazy. The oven was a great idea that I don't think many people thought of
Thanks a lot! Yeah. They were crazy that year. Lol
Great idea!
Hmm
I'm thinking some sort of meatloaf using canned meat powdered egg and crackers
Thank you 4 showing this to us
I just learned about dehydrated hamburger. Look up Hamburger Rocks by Zachary something about 7 years ago. It would be lighter to carry.
Oh Yeah !!!!!
Now that is freaking genius. I now have another use for my Stanley Cup. I will be trying this out on my next outing. As far as the egg drop fire starters. Don't worry about that I'll make another batch in a couple weeks and send some more your way.

Bro you are a genius thanks!
I never thought about using the Stanley on its side for an oven. Will try myself.
david dansereau awesome!! I'm glad to hear that.
Thanks for this posting.
david dansereau indeed, .but this method is too time consuming ... i can have same results in 1/2 the time 😚
@@ronr.53400 Well he didn't say how long it took. How would you do it faster? Baking of this type usually requires 350 degrees for a certain time. muffins would be faster than the bread loaf, but not the quantity.
I have been flirting with the idea of buying a Stanley Cup set and now I guess it's a done deal thanks for the awesome video and ideas. Great work by the way. Happy filming
Thomas V glad I could be of assistance 👊
Shane Coffey Outdoors 👊
Thomas V same here
Awesome stove bro. I'd say that bread baked perfectly. That's one thing I still need to try. I've thought about doing it with my esbit setup. Always nice to have fresh muffins for breakfast.
You sir, are a freaking genius! That was an exceptionally creative use of your Stanley! Oh my goodness; who knew you could bake in it! This changes everything! So many Ideas, Wish it would quit raining, so I could try some! Thanks for the video! Cool, very cool! Thanks again!
Thanks for showing how you made the hot coal rack. Great video.
Nice custom pan. Good job making that work. Those Stanley cups are great. I like that you didn't have to be in the amazon to try something out. Making the testers happy really is it's own reward. You are superdad to those guys! Keep the ideas coming!-Mike B. MWW
MIKE'S WILD WORLD thanks a lot! We had a great time. We love getting out and playing around. Have a great day and thanks for coming along
