I love tie-dye!! Thank you soooo much for playing that song in the background!! I am in love with them now!!! What a talented band! They can't make a bad song. Thanks again

Totally liking the video just cause I thought it was well done and informative....totally subscribing to this channel simply cause he played my favorite band in the background.......(and cant wait to see the video on how to make the shirt he was wearing)
I'm so late with this comment but when you folded the shirt in half, have the sleeves face toward you not away like you had it. Then spiral in a clockwise motion like you did, tie and dye, rinse and wash. Your spider will be right side up and not upside down like yours was. Still a pretty dye though. I've been a Dharma customer for 13 years and I love all their products. I subbed to you:)
What is the best way to keep the colors so bright? I do mine the same way as you but out of the washer they seem faded. Is it my low water washer or not making my eyes heavy enough. Its frustrating.
Awe you mentioned Ace, which I have quickly found to be my first go to store for work and play, they plugged the first ad slot on your video. Hope we both get sponsorship from Ace Hardware! 😅😅
This may be a dumb question but is there any way I could do this spider design on a shirt with a logo on but not tie dye the logo and mess it up? Is taping over the logo or maybe saran wrapping and taping the edges down an option that would work?
That turned out amazing. Thanks for the tips. Growing up in northern Ca I did my fair share of shirts. I did a few a couple years ago but others wise it had been 2O plus years. On sat we did some with the kids at my sons 6th bday party. I had them do several each just incase and to have a few different colors and styles. To all of our surprise at the reveal the next day all of them turned out killer. In fact they came out so good were gonna do another round. Next time we need like two to three times more dye. The cheap kit we bought on amazon came out ok but the amount of shirts it claimed to do was way less then it really did. I’m gonna check out your page for dyes. (Edit) Damn I’m in Sonoma. Just realized you have a retail store in San Rafael. That’s awesome I can cruise down if you’re open or at least order online and support a local company.
Hello, I love what you do and I am learning, please, what do you use so that the color is preserved? What liquid can I use? thanks, greetings from Colombia.
@@roseyred72 came out pretty good. I did one horizontal fold across the chest and then vertical down the middle before folding the pleats. The first fold across the middle is slightly off. Maybe the bands were too tight, but otherwise looks just like his.
After the shirt is made, do you leave some to dry? and then put the Synthrapol product, leaving it to soak? or already make and put the product directly ?, I need to know, because I will order Synthrapol, if you can answer me, or someone, I would appreciate it very much.
Killer back ground music and what an awesome tutorial! Thank you!
I watched all 6 of your videos. I've watched literally 100's.
Yours are the BEST.

I’ve done it before and it was perfectly fine
So............do you put more dye on the outside?
What about front loading washers? How do you use the detergent in those?

With your dyes, do you have to use a color fixture after dying?
This may be a dumb question but is there any way I could do this spider design on a shirt with a logo on but not tie dye the logo and mess it up? Is taping over the logo or maybe saran wrapping and taping the edges down an option that would work?
The spider is easy. I wan't to know how to make the one you're wearing lmao.
fold your shirt in half vertically then accordion fold it horizontally. put the colors you want where you want.
@@chrisingram3771 thank you for sharing.
Me too!
Chris Ingram thank you!
@@chrisingram3771 when you say fold in half vertically; do you mean fold it along the y-axis of the shirt?
How did you mix the dye 🙏🏾

Does this leave stains in your washer/dryer? Do you need to run a rinse before using it on your regular clothes?

How many ratio between reactive dye and soda ash that u use ?
That shirt looks so.cool
What dye did you say you used?
If you make a bunch if shirts at the same time, can they all go into the washer together for that 1st wash?
Quick question. What is the purpose in the soda ash? Is that mandatory?

What to use so the shirt doesn't fade after washing?
Are you supposed to mix urea in the dye? I just mixed it with water 💧
Great video! Love the soundtrack as well
