I'm not anti immigration, but all these drivers coming from Russia, Turkey, India, Mexico, China and other countries where the whole point is get your load from A to B as quickly as possible, never mind who you kill. Should have to pass a reading test, and go through 6 months of training before being able to get on the road alone.
They like to screw with women drivers on the road as well. Careless. I just started calling their companies and sending their information to DOT. Playing highway games is not only stupid but wreckless.
From my experience it's mostly the white guys tailgating, cursing out people for dumb reasons wearing flip flops and if you haven't noticed most of the fuck ups on bonehead truckers are white

I once had a rather arrogant Schuster driver out in Iowa tell me they were the best company, and only had the very best drivers. Now, I can honestly say, they are at least in the top 3. Ike said so!!! 😁
I ran line haul for Central Transport from Secaucus, NJ to Charlotte, NC most of the time or Brook Park, Oh to Secaucus and would park in our company’s yard, only used the truck stop to axle out or fuel, but early in my career when I had to use truck stops I would park out of the way and thankfully I never got tagged ! If I was a new driver I would be pulling my hair out !!

@@jimrossi7708 I used to get Martinsburg GM loads and some Saturday runs to Baltimore. Best thing about the job I guess was no NYC. That's the one place I fit my 13'6 trailer under an "11'6" underpass safely when doing Target dedicated with USF Glenn Moore.

I too had to quit driving with the bad back. My doc told me to change careers and ended up at a call center doing IT for about 2 years and had to claim SSDI at 45 years old. Pain medication caused osteoporosis and setup for 7 separate vertebrae breaks over 6 months. So be it, I'm still living OK, and definitely glad to not be behind the truck wheel having to deal with this mess shown here in bonehead truckers. Best to ya Jim.

#9: Why I ALWAYS position my tractor such that my rig is clearly visible in the DRIVER side mirror of the rig in front of me in line. Because too many drivers don’t (1) walk around the truck or (2) check both side mirrors before backing up.
I still feel bad for the old FLD120 and its owner in the #1 spot! Those were great tractors. I still own a 1995 FLD12064 that's used as a backup when one of the newer ones has to be in the shop for more than a few hours.
I was never at a truck stop that didn't have enough room for trucks to maneuver safely. There is plenty of room. But, not if you'r an incompetent driver
Some of the Pilot stops I've been to have been tight. Harrisburg, PA region especially. If you go slow and watch both mirrors you'll be fine. Well that is unless Swifty Swift or Welfare Express are there too.

Just a nervous experience that day

Second thought, yeah how can they possibly ever get any truck stop that has any trucks, CAT scale, fuel pumps, or buildings on site THAT safe? Not possible I'm betting.

Hard to fathom so much of this. Drove big truck for 46 years and now drive motorcoach (month short of 50 years total driving), and never had anything major in the line of a mishap or accident (thank the Almighty). Guess I should also thank that old Norweigan who first taught me to drive that first big truck (with a custom harvesting crew) with an oversized load (yep, my first "big truck driver" job), and hit me with a stick saying, "No cocksucker," each time I made a mistake. Don't get me wrong, other than the stick and the dirty name that first week, he and his company (family operation) treated me well (decent pay, decent room and board...man could his wife cook). He stressed safety and care for the equipment over the almighty dollar. That has stuck with me throughout the years.

Some of these drivers are like, how the hell did you get a license? Just don't get it. I'm always weary of Amazon and big company trailers. I try to avoid even parking next to them at truck stops and rather pay for reservation instead. I'm not perfect either and i was once a rookie as well but this is just bizzare.. Most of the accidents are occuring with trucks that are automatic transmission. drivers driving trucks like if they're cars. The lost art of having full control of your truck are slowing fading by steering wheel holding automatic drivers. It's a shame. That's why I refuse to drive automatic. Lots of drivers take it for granted and that's when things and accidents like these happen.

25 years driving.....retired with zero accidents...always parked as far as possible from the fuel island as possible....been lucky in my driving career...always started my day at 2-3 am. done at 3-4 in the afternoon..very few incidents at trk stops....common sense will make your days a lot less stressful....patience is a virtue....

I''m not a trucker but did spend a few weeks with my son who drove long-haul from Canada into US. I got anew appreaciation for truckers from that vantage point and some of the c@rp they have to put up with. I saw number of flip-flop boneheads and other truckers who did not give a rats @ss about damaging other trucker rigs. My son told me of some truck drivers asking other truck drivers to back up their rigs!!! Kind of says it all about the industry and the standards and level of training that some seem to be able to skirt around and still get their license. It abysmal that those types of drivers are out there disrespecting their fellow rig drivers, just a shame. All that said, I do enjoy your vids, they really bring home the fact that there are a lot of idiots.

As much as I love this channel, I also feel bad, because it’s the trucks that typically pay the price; and with a basic semi STARTING at a cool $75,000 that a HUGE cost! 💸

I''m not a trucker but did spend a few weeks with my son who drove long-haul from Canada into US. I got anew appreaciation for truckers from that vantage point and some of the c@rp they have to put up with. I saw number of flip-flop boneheads and other truckers who did not give a rats @ss about damaging other trucker rigs. My son told me of some truck drivers asking other truck drivers to back up their rigs!!! Kind of says it all about the industry and the standards and level of training that some seem to be able to skirt around and still get their license. It abysmal that those types of drivers are out there disrespecting their fellow rig drivers, just a shame. All that said, I do enjoy your vids, they really bring home the fact that there are a lot of idiots.
