'Is this a parody or is this serious?' 'Yes!' Enjoy this rabbit hole called Electric Callboy, go start with Hypa Hypa, We got the moves.... and on and on...
And not to forget "Tekkno Train"! And if you like a bit of the heavy partycore drops, I would (after Electric Callboy - Hypa hypa) reccomend WBTBWB vs. Electric Callboy - Hypa Hypa. Its one of multiple reprises by different bands in collab with EC.
They're absolutely serious... about having fun. One of the most common descriptions from fans is, "They don't take themselves seriously, while taking the music seriously." Because the music is impeccable, though they just wanna enjoy themselves. It's no good if they're not having a good time. I recommend MORE. Either, "Hypa Hypa" or "We Got The Moves" are good at this point. Another thing, the fans are amazing, and supportive. Great community.
It's always fun to watch someone discover Electric Callboy, they're quite an experience! I absolutely love them. You'll get lots of recommendations for Hypa Hypa and We Got the Moves, but my person favorite video is Arrow of Love.
This song has the additional remark "Tekkno version", because their latest album is called "Tekkno". It was originally supposed to be on that album too, but they made a last minute decission to not put it on there and release it seperately.
We've found an immaculate one! Well, at least in regards to EC, obviously not in other genres of... entertainment. 😜 Electric Callboy was founded in 2010 (as Eskimo Callboy, name change in March of 2022). They were a more or less standard metalcore band, with a mostly humorous or at least light hearted approach. Early in 2020, original lead singer Sebastian 'Sushi' Biesler (clean and scream/ harsh) left to found a new project (Ghostkid). They casted Nico Sallach as the new clean singer, keyboard player and backing screamer Kevin Rataczak was promoted to main harsh vocalist. They decided to introduce Nico to the fans with a no holds barred - all in - over the top song and video, which was "Hypa Hypa". The rest is partycore history. While most of their material since is uplifting electronicore like "Everytime We Touch", they do have some serious songs too (Hate/Love, Mindreader, Parasite...). The other members are: Daniel 'Danskimo' Haniss, guitar, he does the majority of their programming and production, Pascal Schillo, guitar, he and his brother Oliver run a videography company (Schillo Bros.) which is responsible for the vast majority of their music videos, Daniel Klossek, bass guitar, David Friedrich, drums, he joined in 2012 after original drummer Michael 'Micha' Malitzki left out of private reasons. In March of 2022, Micha filled in for a live performance on a German tv show (they played "Pump It!") as David was on a humanitary mission at the Polish-Ukranian border. And please, no need for excuses for a youthful urge to discover; in EC's video for "Hurrikan" (not to be confused with their older song "Hurricane"), they have a female guest star (singer and actress Mia Julia) that is known for her... educational movies.
Electric Callboy are the most entertaining & joyful band in the world right now, Germans have not put out a bad song in last 3 years and live shows just a massive rave of metal & EDM riffs!! 😆🤘
Cool reaction. Just to give you a bit of an info about the band: Electric Callboy is a metalcore/electronicore band from Germany. All their songs since 2020, the year they got a new vocalist, Nico, are just full of fun, he really complements Kevin's harsh vocals. They got bored with the standard of metal music and wanted to just make people laugh. If you want to go down the rabbit hole of their music I can recommend: Hypa Hypa, We Got The Moves, Arrow of Love, Pump It, Hurrikan, Tekkno Train, but they also have a serious side, like: Hate/Love, Mindreader, Parasite, Neon (which doesn't have a music video, but it's an amazing song)
that Castle is "Castle Rothestein" in the state of Hessen in Germany. Germany has most castles in the world (one reason is its medieval history as Holy Roman Empire). Yep, Electric Callboy is German and the covered song is also from a German group ('Cascada') ...
Jaaaaa! Haha geil 😅 Hurrikan, McThunder II, Fuckboi, Mindreader, Arrow of love, Hypa Hypa, Spaceman, Pump it, Tekkno train, We got the moves, Ratatata, Castrop x Spandau 😁I would do them all, but then I already know them all 😂 So yes we are an EC loving household 😊 and this made me excited, going to enjoy you react to our Deutsche Freunde! This video for me really displays the bromance between Nico and Kevin ❤ I enjoyed it and it went much better than I expected.. so YAY! Letsssssgooo
You were thinking about Cascada's "Everytime We Touch" which took the chorus of Maggie Reilly's original. This is not "mental", it's "metal" - well, ok. It's both.
The song is about the bromance the singers have going on (one does cleans, the other does harsh). The handshake at the end is meant to sound like cheeks being clapped
Dude it’s parody, it’s comedy but it’s GOOD music. Your vibe and cadence is amazing. When you said ‘screamy scream’ you had me dying. This was great. Keep the videos coming!

Germany is part of the European Union, so... They use Euro as currency. Surely you heard of it xD
So, this is your first German band? Why not follow it up with a combination with your first Japanese band? Electric Callboy has a collaboration song with Babymetal: "Ratatata"
🧌🧌🧌 ... yeppppp , there is nothing quite like seeing someone's first encounter with Electric Call Boy. It is .................. "well good" !!.. keep them coming Sam !! German porn ,.... hey , never been there but I am not judging. Booom Booom Booom 🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🧑🎄🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼
The hand shake at the end sounds like something I’ve heard, multiple times…
😂😂😂
😂😂😂
If you're getting into the rock/metal type music, you should check out "Bloodywood". They're an Indian Folk Metal band 🤣🤣
Did you hear it as well in the german porn video?
@@johnmatheson7779 Nice! Latest one is a banger!
'Is this a parody or is this serious?'
'Yes!'
Enjoy this rabbit hole called Electric Callboy, go start with Hypa Hypa, We got the moves.... and on and on...
Absolutely serious parody.
They are 100% serious about having a good time. Enjoy!!!
Next WE GOT THE MOVES greetings from Germany
👋🏼 Greetings
And not to forget "Tekkno Train"!

Watch the behind the scenes video for this one, it's awesome. They spend Euros right now.
Your face when that drop hit. 😂🤘🏻🦚
Haha I didn’t know what to do with myself😂

Thanks for watching, not sure what one I’ll do next🧐
This song has the additional remark "Tekkno version", because their latest album is called "Tekkno". It was originally supposed to be on that album too, but they made a last minute decission to not put it on there and release it seperately.
I think the reason for that was that they were still trying to get permission for the cover version.
We've found an immaculate one! Well, at least in regards to EC, obviously not in other genres of... entertainment. 😜

I just want to add that their output from 2012 to 2020 (with Sushi, their former singer) is also effing great. 😊
Hi from a fellow Sam!
Many other commenters gave you great recommendations. I hope you choose to go along into your EC journey, it's a great one❤️
Hi 🤗 the location is Castle "Rothestein" in Germany
Lovely, cheers👍🏼
and you can rent it for a pretty good price for events like wedding, the 50th birthday or a music video ^^
that Castle is "Castle Rothestein" in the state of Hessen in Germany. Germany has most castles in the world (one reason is its medieval history as Holy Roman Empire). Yep, Electric Callboy is German and the covered song is also from a German group ('Cascada') ...
Maybe not the best song to intro the band, but you get the idea I think.. lol. They're heavy and their videos are always fun.

I don't think he can handle Hurrikan just yet lol
@steamwillrise Hahaha I think he can, but there's only one way to find out 😏😏😏
I would have recommended this song 3rd or 4th Hypa Hypa and we got the moves both originals would have been first but this is a great cover
You were thinking about Cascada's "Everytime We Touch" which took the chorus of Maggie Reilly's original.
This is not "mental", it's "metal" - well, ok. It's both.
And Cascada are a German band from Bonn.
Really? Guess I lied then, I had no idea about that😂
The song is about the bromance the singers have going on (one does cleans, the other does harsh). The handshake at the end is meant to sound like cheeks being clapped
You can't go wrong with this band! :) *enjoy & cheers from Germany.
Cheers John👍🏼
€ ... dude
this song cover song of cascada but is tekkno version and tekkno is a new album from electric callboy
The guys said they called in a whole bunch of favors to have the castle for filming in. I like the way you use words. It's above average!
You always make my day better. Thank you 😊😂
Electric Callboy are fun to watch and listen to.
Brilliant reaction. 💛💛💛
I’m glad, that’s what it’s all about😀 thanks for watching!

Germany is part of the European Union, so... They use Euro as currency. Surely you heard of it xD
This has confirmed I am dumber than I thought. Cheers😂😂
Not to be a smartass, but not all countries in the EU use the Euro...the spirit of your argument is still valid though :)
So, this is your first German band? Why not follow it up with a combination with your first Japanese band? Electric Callboy has a collaboration song with Babymetal: "Ratatata"
Awesome reaction! Keep it up Sam.
Well there's something for your treadmill sprints .....

It’s pretty heavy stuff😂 electric call boy I mean…haha
"Is this a parody or is it serious?"
The answer to is yes to both. :D
HYPA HYPA
😃💪
You could do a eurovision song Well, it could have been. Pump it, that's the name of the song.
Love your reactions but I've got a headache from this one. I can't do the screamy scream ones 🙉
So despite of all the noise, the girl in the middle did not wake up.
Some say she’s still there
This is your first German band??? As in you haven’t listened to any Rammstein?… for real?!
Never even heard of that Trish😂
@@Sam_TB unbelievable, Rammstein - Du hast- Live in Paris, is probably the most reacted video on here 😉
@@Sam_TB Where ya' been ? 😅
I really sure its not ur first german band! React to 80s and 90s german songs. U will see, u know more then you think
Germany uses Euros my dude (as an American I can understand the confusion, but that should not make you feel better)
I feel worse actually…😂
Is this serious or a joke? Why not both?
Well you had me till you called harsh vocals screamo. now you can GFY.
No it's not screamo. You aren't very fluent in metal aren't you?
Not at all, it’s never been something I’ve listened to. I’m trying though👍🏼😀
