All I know is that cold showers are over for me - I did not jump into the hopium when everyone was bullish in april, but now I am aggressively buying alts at these prices, regardless of what may happen in short term
Man I hope "we" are right lol...
I started buying the Alts again after a 30 to 50% drop, from which time many have dropped that much again- good fundamental projects, no memes or micro caps (unless you call 30 to 50 Mil a microcap because I got a few of those)
But I was down 25 to 30K on my Alts since late March and now I'm down over 40K on them.
Some that were up well over 100% are up like 15% now. And many that were up 30% are down 40%

@@bjenkin100 you are lucky you are only 40k down... ill only mention SFUND , down about 40k just on that alt. imagine the rest of my alts....i have about 13k sfund around march sfund hit $5.50 now $1.40. it hit a low of 1.20.....BUT hey alot of those are free from farming and staking when i bought at .50-.60 cents. after bear market low of 40 cents... anyway hopefully we who stick around make the bucks regardless of our preferred tokens/coins....good luck bro .....

Just remember guys: In general it is a bad idea to make a long term short bet against Bitcoin halving.

Why are you comparing the year of the halving (2024) to the years before the previous halvings? Shouldn't you compare 2024 to 2020 or 2016 which were the previous two halving years?

Couldn't the difference this year be simply chaulked up to and early run up due to the BTC ETF launches, followe by a reversion to mean dude to overall low liquidity conditions, coupled with recent selling by Germany and incoming Mt. Gox sales of BTC?

It's not going to be like 2019 or 2013. It's going to be like 2024 and driven by fundamentals, the most important of which are the Germany and Mt Gox payments which will suppress price until completed. Then long bias will resume.
2019 was the previous Bear Market year. 2013 was the bull market year a year after the halving. Theses shouldn't have correlation to 2024 the year in the cycle in which the halving took place. It would be much more prudent to compare 2024 to 2020 and/or 2016
Bitcoin just printed a weekly Stochastic RSI cross up it only does this every 5 to 6 months look at the chart and see what that does to price.

I believe similarly. Also, when taking social development, risk and 'state of awareness' into account... IMHO, is slowly getting more stable, thus taking longer - less prone to disruption... unless 'swan'... (?)

2019 was a bear market year before the cycles halving in may 2020. So it's kinda weird to compare it to 2024.

great video Benjamin, what i can get from your video is that doesnt matter if its a 2013 or 2019 cycle, its a good moment to accumulate altcoins, if its 2013 you can sell in the next uptrend to buy back again when the crash comes, and if it surpasses the 200 by the next few weeks, we get the Q4 rally that we all want and need
That’s as close to “calling it” I’ve ever heard Ben come to. Guess we’ll find out soon.
At least I can say the hit the top theory has a weakness, If you look at the logarithmic scale you realize that the price is close to the trend base, even if the price sticks on the logarithmic band line, BTC will continue to rise for the rest of the year, although in this scenario it could rise extremely slow, but a change of the interest rate could make it take off again.
Also we need take into account the theory of lower ROI and longer cycles.
It is with this understanding, this vision, to see what can be, unburdened by what has been...ya know?

~38% cash, ~38% BTC, 20% ETH, >5% OTHERS imo. Plenty of cash if we get a move down. Plenty of BTC and ETH if we get a move up. Looking to allocate into ETH or OTHERS if we get a move down because it feels similar to the 2019 playbook with outsized returns possible in higher risk
The high was 74k. Hes certainly not presenting anything to the contrary
Monthly RSI much more indicative that the cycle is not over. This is a fake out by market makers and we will see a massive recovery and new highs end of Q4 into 2025.
Depending on your settings we have a downwards cross on the monthly. Or one more red month and we will most likely see a cross on all settings.

2019 would be akin to 2023 cycle wise. 2019 was the year before the previous halving. Not sure why Ben is looking at that year. Doesn't make sense to do that imho
Previous halving was on May 20th 2020. So if you look at 2019 you are looking at the bear market year prior to the halving year.....

We're in danger hehe. Being realistic and taking some charts into account I believe there will be one more rally up to 80ish k and then the bear market will begin.
I think another rally is inevitable, most of the new money via the ETF’s hasn’t even come in yet, still going through compliance departments, etc.
Correction to 44k until rally starts in 2025 IMO.
I believe U.S. data now indicates that the U.S. is in recession.
Consequently, the government will increase the USD supply, print more money.
This means an increase in liquidity, which usually results in an increase in investments.
It's wild how spoiled people have gotten with the market in the last few months. We were clearly not supposed to be this high yet. I followed my strategy and began to sell 1% of my BTC everyday when we reached 57k months ago. I sold off 50% and stopped. I will begin to buy back in of we reach low 40s, I am not sure if we will get there but I really hope so. If not I will just hold what I have and follow the same strategy of selling 1% everyday if we reach 90k.
If you set a strategy before a bull run and follow it no matter what your emotions say you will do well. You will never time the top or the bottom, so it's not worth trying. You just want to buy in slowly when you reach an undervalued level and sell slowly when you are in an overvalued range. Keep you emotions in check and take what the market gives you.

Historically speaking bitcoin can’t be worth 50k in 2029 as too much time has passed to not exceed original investment (three years).
Everyone thinks it’s going to 52,000, which means it won’t reach 52,000.
