😢Matt 11:12! Sermon was going great until this point. Jesus was showing that the past ways of doing things had halted at John. It was prophecy and violence before UNTIL NOW! Baptism enters! So we don’t need the past conduct for the Kingdom of God. This verse has really been misunderstood by generations. When Bishop got here, I was expecting to hear that now you have the power, you can authorise anything and you needn’t use force at all! For that is how it was before until NOW! Now I am here! Says Jesus. The kingdom does not need to suffer violent attacks or be raided (NIV) anymore! We have power, authority! Al we have to do is know that and put it to practice as Bishop’s prayer messages have taught us. Bishop please look at Matt 11:12 again. ❤
