Very good advise and I love Far
North Queensland . I want to see Cape York Peninsula but are best to drive a 4WD . Twenty years ago Shelburne bay was under threat. It has an incredible echo system with pure white silica sand dunes up to 200m , forests, lakes and beaches . You can’t swim in the beaches though because of crocodiles. It is almost inaccessible and you need a 4WD . The Australian Conservation Foundation along with the Aboriginal Council fought to stop the government from sand mining the dunes . I donated money for several years . They won the fight to save these sand dunes and it is now a national park and it was returned to the aboriginals . It is so remote and one of the last remaining wilderness places on this planet . At the moment it is closed to the public . I was heart broken because I really wanted to visit this place . Hopefully in the future , echo tours will be allowed to travel to Shelburne Bay .

Awesome Video, thanks for all the tips! I’m going there in late May and will definitely do some of your recommendations. I‘m curious though which camera you use for the underwater footage? I definitely wanna take some pictures of the Great Barrier Reef when I’m there.

Thanks Stephi!! I use my trusty go pro hero 8 😊 I do find underwater footage needs a lot more colour correcting as the colours change under water
