Just found you AFTER NOT pushing the pipe all the way over the whole male part of the cooker. Flames came out there. It was interesting. I remembered to get the water soaked cloth on it straight away. Fire is out, now I'm watching you. ...just replaced the pipe burned piece with a newly cut end.Tried to heat up pipe with water several times to get it as far as I could (not very strong person) and jubilee clip reattached. I recall using dish soap to see if there is a leak in the joints. Trying that. Will only turn the gas bottle on a little before firing up. Wet cloth at the ready... It WAS leaking from the main income fitting. Saw the bubbles. So I greased it up and tightened it and wrapped around plumber tape on the thread. Tightened it back on. Heating up the pipe again to get it back on to try again...
OmG thank you so much. I’m building my BBQ and couldn’t connect the hose for the life of me. Trying to surprise my husband and if it wasn’t for this video, I’d be a crying mess.
Thank you so much. I was sent a heater by who said it was fitted but it wasn't. This simple but genius tip saved me so much stress.

I feel bad for your husband if that's how easy it is for you to be a "crying mess"
You said it is very important to do a soapy water test and you said you would show us how, but you didn't show us.
Nevertheless, thank you for the instruction on the connection.

You can also use a hairdryer to heat the pipe as well |
So useful
How to remove it, to change the regulator?
Sir, some says, clamp fitting is not compulsory because it can damage hose in future...is this right ?
Hose clamp for propane???? That's safe???? I don't think so sir....
Out of date
