Cook, maid, gardeners, drivers, assistant, pr, agent, stylist, publicist, social media manager, nutritionist, yoga/fitness instructor, Botox/wellness, restaurants, clubs, parties, membership clubs, vacations, private air travel, rent, friends, lawyers, doctors, security, shopping, etc. someone not even A-list or B-list might spend $500k-$1m/month just in lifestyle. A friend of mine worked on edge of tomorrow & said Tom cruise had over 50 employees with him for various things. Say they make 50k that’s 2.5m in salary alone. Now + room/food/transportation/insurance/etc he might be spending $600k/month just on workforce. I guarantee guys like johnny or Tom holland, or Jason momoa or the rock or any a-lister burn $5-10m/month just on lifestyle. Not to mention a lot of these people have gambling habits & other expensive vices like collecting horses & sh*t. They might all make say 70m/year in projects & royalties but burn 71m on just being them. My dad was an economics teacher (now retired) and has coached football on the high school and college levels for 30 years. Some of the kids he coached have gone pro and he always stayed in touch with the ones that did just to remind them to not spend all their new money. All of the ones that have made it to the NFL are now retired, none ever went bankrupt, and one of them is now a consultant for other pro athletes to help them keep their finances in check. As an aside, these videos make me feel way better about myself lol. I got a new job with a massive pay increase this year but I kept feeling wasteful for immediately spending money on a ton of stuff, even if I needed it (like a new wardrobe for work). Fortunately, I live on my own with no spouse or kids and I still have quite a bit of savings, investments, and no debt. These vids remind me that I'm good.

Love your videos! In regards to the 7mil., from what I understand, when they divorced she was offered 3.2mil and turned it down. She later came back to him and demanded 4mil. Each subsequent meeting that was had related to that situation, she kept asking for more money that capped out at that 7mil. She also asked for other things like spousal support, exclusive rights to a vehicle, and multiple penthouse apartments. I don’t think she got those, but yea. Whack

the 7 million was a settlement with a caveat. they go there separate ways and not talk bad to one another in public. then she goes and write the op-ed which leads us to here. Also she said she was donating the total 7 million to 2 different charities.

A cautionary tale for present and future gold diggers, the legal system is brutal, lawyers get paid these huge sums of money mostly because they have to read *terms and conditions* (those things that most people just scroll through and click "agree" on). There was also little to no strategy here on Heard's part either, never go after your ex, especially if they're considerably more well known, well liked and innocent.
This was a good video and frankly I needed to see it, I been looking at tightening up my expanses bc i just sign a big package with my next employer & its easy to start thinking about all the things you can buy with thisnew money. BUT i have to keep my feet on the ground and stay humble. This video is a reminder of that, so thank you Spencer.

It’s super easy. Whether maintaining image or living the rockstar life, a Hollywood burn rate puts athletes to shame.
Cook, maid, gardeners, drivers, assistant, pr, agent, stylist, publicist, social media manager, nutritionist, yoga/fitness instructor, Botox/wellness, restaurants, clubs, parties, membership clubs, vacations, private air travel, rent, friends, lawyers, doctors, security, shopping, etc. someone not even A-list or B-list might spend $500k-$1m/month just in lifestyle.
A friend of mine worked on edge of tomorrow & said Tom cruise had over 50 employees with him for various things. Say they make 50k that’s 2.5m in salary alone. Now + room/food/transportation/insurance/etc he might be spending $600k/month just on workforce.
I guarantee guys like johnny or Tom holland, or Jason momoa or the rock or any a-lister burn $5-10m/month just on lifestyle. Not to mention a lot of these people have gambling habits & other expensive vices like collecting horses & sh*t.
They might all make say 70m/year in projects & royalties but burn 71m on just being them.
A jet charter, a yacht rental, a boutique suite, restaurants & drinks - your average celeb might spend $250k in a weekend at AMFAR or something. Do that a few times & that $10m paycheck after taxes doesn’t look too good.
EDIT: not to mention any baby mamas, child support, legal issues, etc they might have.

My dad was an economics teacher (now retired) and has coached football on the high school and college levels for 30 years. Some of the kids he coached have gone pro and he always stayed in touch with the ones that did just to remind them to not spend all their new money. All of the ones that have made it to the NFL are now retired, none ever went bankrupt, and one of them is now a consultant for other pro athletes to help them keep their finances in check.
As an aside, these videos make me feel way better about myself lol. I got a new job with a massive pay increase this year but I kept feeling wasteful for immediately spending money on a ton of stuff, even if I needed it (like a new wardrobe for work). Fortunately, I live on my own with no spouse or kids and I still have quite a bit of savings, investments, and no debt. These vids remind me that I'm good.
