Here is a thing about length of games. You can have a 300hrs experience that is repetitive, boring and monotonous, or you can have a 7hrs game that is interesting, has new mechanics and tries something new. I rather take the 7 hrs experience.

@@teddybeargram3 Out of all the visual upgrades - 4k, 120hz , VRR. HDR is the most impressive, especially with the infinite contrast of an OLED, VRR is awesome aswell. If your on PC, I highly recommend updating to Windows 11 insider beta channel and you'll get Auto HDR, it's surprisingly how many big budget titles don't support native HDR, currently playing Control with auto HDR makes a big difference.
Do not use hdr. It makes the game look wurse. Hdr makes you blacks look grey. I have an oled aswel. I never use hdr. Everytime i turn it on its like where the f. Are my deep blacks! The image looks washed out on every tv. Qled and oled.
You forgot to mention that the physical edition of this game will be released hopefully before the end of the year. I will only buy physical copies of games.
GoW and Zelda inspirations in a world that looks like a Pixar film. Had my eye on this since the initial review and it only continues to give me good vibes. Really hoping this sticks the landing when it drops next month.
God of war 1 on ps2 could be beaten in less than 10 hours, less then 5 for speed play. So this one being 9 or 10 hours long could still prove to be great. So long as it has the entertainment factor and fun gameplay. And no cutscenes that take up 45 percent of the play time.
I hear the main story is on the short side but you then need to collect hats for the little guys. Plenty of exploring there. 50$ for a good 30 hours of game play is worth every penny to me.

I just don't trust the 'gameplay' I see in this video or past trailers. I've seen real gameplay of this game and the visuals were definitely downgraded from what we see here. I was also unimpressed with the animation. Hopefully the end product looks more like this video. In that case, I'll pick up the PC version and check it out.
Only reason I bought this game is because rachet and clank rift apart was so good and this has a similar feel not in terms of gameplay but visually and story wise
Biomutant had almost everyone pre-launch saying it seemed buggy and unfinished. WIth Kena I have yet to hear anyone who's seen pre-release footage and gameplay say it didn't seem pretty good. As with all things, don't get into the hype cycle, but also don't get too cynical. :) With the backing (marketing) Sony's been giving it, I'd be surprised if it isn't a good game.
I’ve been grinding Sekiro recently and it’s been super fun but really draining and frustrating at times so I think this game will be perfect to zen me out once I beat Sekiro which is lining up for when this game comes out
This game looks great and I want to play it, but beating it in the coarse of the weekend is to short for me. I get it's the studios first release, and with the interest of this game we will definitely get a greater version or a lengthier followup. I might still buy it tho I'm not sure yet.

hopefully next game they do will be similar but something more survival horror like, we need way more survival horror, i like a straight forward game that has a A to B with a lot of area to explore, but not open world, but I hope there is a lot of unlocks an variety of things to make replays worth it, if a game is single player only, or they know the multiplayer is tacked on or not really the main focus, I think a fair amount of time is 14 to 15 hours to complete, that is if you rush through without any side stuff, an not really exploring much, just the main story, if you do side stuff, an explore everything, it should like at least 20 ish hours for a play through, for full price, especially these next gen game prices, a game like the evil within 1 an 2, but especially the 1st, an dead space 2 an 1 an 3, but mainly 2, are the great examples of a perfect single player experience, they are masterpieces, the pacing is perfection, an they have tons of variety in every way, making replays worth it,

this game is awesome! It's so damn good.. The only thing i don't like is that there's no compass so you'll constantly have to keep checking your map to see where you are going. Just like Uncharted: The lost Legacy, it can get fairly annoying and frustrating

This looks like a mix of Ori and the Blind Forest with horizon Zero dawn. My two favorite games of the last generation. Can't wait.
