This was the last flight of the day. I had one more battery and needed to get that last late afternoon flight in before the sun went down. It is a real treat flying RC planes in the FPV perspective with Head Tracking.
Thanks! 😃. When I initially got the Tally-Ho head tracker there was a lot of drift. I did a recalibration on it and it’s been rock solid ever since. I don’t think I’ve done anything special to help it be any smoother with the setup. I have noticed the Motionsic BAG is the same in both of my builds. It’s not the transmitter because in the beginning I was using a Spektrum NX10 and am now using a Spektrum iX14 and it’s the same in both.
@salisburyrc Thank you for the info. I like that setup on spektrum seems alot smoother. My tx16s still has drift with both of his tally ho calibration and rolling it around in my lap on the goggles. I now set it to reset to center with min max roll. It helps alot but then i had to play with the gains on the HT software and added 30%expo on the pan tilt channel from the radio. Yours is still beautiful view and looks great! 💯✅️
@@Streetreaper89 Thanks! I need to grab a Radiomaster TX16s and see if I can recreate the same issues as you. I used to have one but sold it a while back. It may be something for another time, but I've been debating another one for ELRS. I want that range I'm not able to get with Spektrum. 😆
@@salisburyrc Hey that would be awesome. keep up the solid work!! The range is great with elrs ranger ext and the rp3 receiver, no issues here, RTH failsafe works aswell. It shouldn't be hard to recreate the drift with a tx16 lol. so far 3 people i know have tons of drift with them. once the first flight is done then following flights typically get more and more drift until i cant even use it because its diving my cam to the left corner usually. I'm running the latest tally ho with goggles 3 and still same issues as my older HT and goggles. my old setup with ix12 didnt really get much drift.
@@Streetreaper89 I do remember when I first started my setup I had bad drift. I was running the latest update on the Head Tracker software. I ended up downgrading to a couple of versions back and it resolved the issue. Not sure if this is the same thing you are dealing with, but its worth checking out.

Oh man the engine start up ! Amazing.
Thanks! The power of video editing. 😆
Great flight, incredible view!
@@richardandkoreenacarpenter6963 Thanks Richard!
Wow, thats Awesome work! sounds cool with your edit! top Notch.
How do you get the pan and tilt so smooth and no drift?
