Simon Helberg: Bust Through the Crack in the Door
Вставка
- Опубліковано 25 вер 2024
- Simon Helberg (The Big Bang Theory, Florence Foster Jenkins, As They Made Us) joins Mayim in studio to discuss the preparation he did and the fears he had playing his complicated character in Mayim’s new film, As They Made Us. He takes us through the darkest moments of his mental health journey, his OCD stemming from his attempts to avoid failure, and his motivation to seek professional treatment. Mayim considers the shift she witnessed in Simon’s mental health on The Big Bang Theory set. They discuss their entries into the Big Bang cast, what happened once the show grew in popularity, and the mental health quirks and stereotypes of each of the characters. Simon and Mayim explain the process of finding themselves after the success of the series and what it was like for Simon to perform an impression of Stephen Hawking in front of the late physicist on the set of the show.

My favorite BBT episode is when you two were paired together in the scavenger hunt. I wanted to hear an impromptu Neil Diamond song 😄
Omg that was one of the best episodes!! Neil Diamnond? I love Neil Diamond! I love Neil Diamond!!! ❤️ one of the funniest episodes!!
That’s one of my favorite episodes
To the "Neil mobile! " -Amy Farrah Fowler ❤️
@@annequigg3979 their acting together was so good with contagious joy
Lol yes same!
The character of Howard had thee best story arc over the entire series and that's due in large part to Simon Helberg's acting (and singing) talents. Howard kinda creeped me out the first few seasons but by the end of the series he was married with a family and just grown up so much and was attractive.
One moment that really sticks out for me is when he's singing to Bernadette through the quarantine window; I still get chills and choked up when that scene is on. Simon did an amazing job there.
I drop a little tear of happiness when I first heard that song
That scene gets me every time 🥺
This, I tell everyone Howard is the best developed character in the whole series
In the same episode, I also like how Penny tries to romance Leonard and fails, but her box of memories, her true self, touches him dearly.
Howard is one of my favorite characters, which is hard because I love them all lol!
He's right about TBBT, it was good with the four guys & Penny, but one Mayim & Melissa a became full cast members, it really became a great show and the one we remember and love. Great Episode.
I could never understand the hate the show got from some folks when Mayim & Melissa came on board. "Wah-wah, everything changed, it's not just the guys anymore!". Well, yeah... "the guys" are growing up, and developing, and having lives. What are we supposed to do, watch 10 seasons of them playing video games and talking about being single? Lol
1 of my favorite episodes is the scavenger hunt where the teams all had such great comedic chemistry!
@@Bayougirl78 Wonder how any critic could make that remark with Kaley being on the show from the beginning, so it was never all guys. Some people just want to make a fuss. And the addition of Mayim & Melissa's characters did a lot for Kaley's character too.
I loved that part of the episode when Howard and Amy Realized they both like Neil Diamond!
Yes it got SO much better when they joined
Since we're talking about how great Melissa and Mayim were on TBBT, I just want to add how amazing it was to see two women with PhD level science careers on one sitcom. And not just two female scientists, but two female scientists with completely different personalities and backgrounds and opinions about the world. I loved that so much.
Yes good point. as a woman, this fact encourage so much
I watch The Big Bang every day before bed. It’s my comfort show!
Same. I have been rewatching and in season 7.
Same. I love falling asleep, laughing.
I love that someone else has a 'Comfort Show'. Mine are Frasier, TBBT, The Goldbergs xx😍
Same
I watched it *several* times a day (going through divorce, 2008-10 - economy bad)! I would literally LOL & feel better.
He's 100% right about Mayim Bialik being the missing ingredient of the show. Amy was one of the best mid-series character additions in the history of TV. I put her up there with Frasier Crane and any number of characters on M.A.S.H. TBBT would not have lasted as long as it did without her.
Totally agree! Amy is one of my favorite characters.
I agree. Especially since she created growth in Sheldon which also helped keep the show going. Would have been bland otherwise.
It's interesting, the more I watch TBBT, the more Amy becomes my favorite. I have watched the series through probably pushing 30 times now (I have a problem), and she is just remarkable.
Or without Melissa, Brian, & Brian, Kevin, John and all the other supporting characters. That was what was so great about the show. The supporting cast was wonderful against the main cast.
I agree, but when talking about the Frasier show, my "savior" is Niles for sure. He is the reason I re-watch that series regularly.
The best Amy and Howard episode....singing Neil Diamond songs!!!!🤣🤣🤣
Ok, so I am 46 years old, I have watched a lot of TV shows…I have NEVER watched a complete series a 2nd time, but I have watched Bing Bang a total of 6 full runs, not to mention that I will watch every re-run on. I loved this show from the pilot on. I still cry every time Sheldon gets his Leonard Nimoy DNA napkin and hugs Penny, I laugh and cry with every sweet interaction between Sheldon and Amy. I bawl each time I see their wedding, and the finale? Forget about it. I lose it. This, to me, was the greatest sitcom ever made. Thank you both for your years upon years of laughter you brought to my life ❤
What a beautiful tribute!
I so agree 🎉 this show was the best! Not only do I own it on dvd I watch it every time it shows on tv...and yes I always cry at the ending when Sheldon calls then all by name!
I agree with Simon. The show exploded even bigger when your and Melissa's characters came to be. I loved the Big Bang Theory and I have to admit, You were my absolute favorite character on the show. The episode when Sheldon bought you a tiara, I laughed and laughed and it was hard for me to stop. I didn't expect your character to have that reaction. It caught me off guard in a most delightful way. Thank you.
Also my favorite episode. The reaction to the tiara was PRICELESS!
my favorite too, instantly
Priceless indeed!!! 😁😂🤣
I Love all the cast of Big Bang Theory. I will never get tired of watching this over and over again.
I was telling my husband I wish they would bring it back as I cried like a baby when it ended
The TBBT episode that still makes me lsugh out loud, is when Bernadette tells Howard she's pregnant again. The whole, 'No. Yes. No. Yes. Noooo!', scene is pure gold. Will always be funny.😂
When ‘Howard’ says “I’m trying!!!” He sounded just like the great actor Gene Wilder.❤
I was thinking the same thing.
And, " If it's a boy do we get him circumcised, if not it looks like a pig in a blanket.". LOL
How I adore their comraderie and true friendship beyond work. Whem Mayim told she commented with Jim Parsons first that she was writing Nathan’s character for Simon, I literally melted! As well when Simon said “You and Melissa coming to the (TBBT) show and the show grows an extra hard”.
And Mayim’s about Simon “your comedy is very serious and your drama is very light” speaks volumes of proffessional respect.
To me it’s incredibly amazing to watch Nathan’s fabulous interpretation at ATMU film by an awesome actor I always related to comedy. And I give here part of the merit to Mayim’s director’s habilities! Kudos for them! FABULOUS EPISODE! 💜
I think you mean "heart" not hard. ❤
@@zoni3gurl641 Yes. Damned auto correct! 🙏🏼
@@zoni3gurl641 thank you. I read that sentence three times.
'from the moment that I met you...Bernadette'... tears still... Raw talent, love this guy.
love you too, Mayim!
The episode were he played the keyboard and sang the song for Bernadette was amazing.
I admit I had not watched a single episode of the BBT until the pandemic. It saved my mind more than anything. Not kidding what so ever. Since we are talking about mental health I can honestly say it saved my wife and I during a very difficult time and I thank you all for it. 💜
I felt the same way and im also laughing about the typo in the second to last line
Saved your “wife”? 😉😄
I never watched BBT before the pandemic either, I’m amazed at what i had missed out on.
I believe you. I still watch BBT whenever I feel stressed out and overwhelmed
As others have already said, I believe Simon was the most talented on TBBT. Although I adored every character! But Howard quickly grew to be my favourite. Simon is such a talented artist and amazing actor, and just hilarious! He portrayed Howard with such depth of character, it was such a pleasure to watch his character evolve so perfectly.
Congrats to all of you on the movie and success!! ❤️
My thoughts exactly
couldn't agree more
I wanted to say the same thing but you said it first. The Character of Howard, and the way Simon played it, was hands down the funniest ever written. I adore the reruns and he so consistantly cracks me up. I can say that I appreciate his work so much that I wish I could tell him myself. and Im not a person that gets star struck, just truly appreciate his talent. He is just sooo funny in this show. Seems like they had the time of their lives with laughter and comedic growth making this show. And we all got to enjoy it.
Seems like most of this podcast were advertisements
Exactly! Howard, Sheldon, Leonard’s mother and Sheldon’s mothers, in that order
I’m miss the big bang theory so much I can’t even explain Please come back😢🎉 0:33
me tooooooo
My husband and I loved BBT and Simon. We named our labradoodle Howard Bruce Wolowitz. :). Howard(the labradoodle) was my husband’s service dog while he was battling terminal cancer. My wonderful husband is now beginning his heavenly life and Howard the labradoodle still searches for his best mate.
So very sorry for your loss.
😪 Sorry for your (and Howard's) loss
So sorry for your loss 🙏💔
So sorry for your loss. Big hug from Barcelona!
So sorry for the loss of your husband.
I wish there were more scenes of Howard and amy
They looked and sounded like soulmates as Howard and Amy but they were basically more far apart than Amy and Leonard.
So did he but she find it weird. lol
I agree! They were great together which was a wonderful surprise!
Their friendship was so wholesome in the few scenes they got to really spend quality time together.
Cue: Neil Diamond’s
“Coming to America…🎵🎵🎵”
One of my favorite episodes!
Honestly, the friendship between Howard and Amy is probably the most wholesome of the entire show. They had such a fun dynamic!
Simon was most definitely my favorite on TBBT. Forgive me for not remembering details, but my favorite moment on the series was when Howard tells Leonard (across the table at lunch break) something about being crazy. His delivery was so *great* and funny that the viewer *believed* it. Can't wait to see the movie. Sadly, we don't see nearly enough of Simon.
Yeah that was funny
It was when bernie expressed her interests in experimental physics and leonard invited her to see his something-or-other-accelerator. So howard asked leonard what he wad playing at and said “…cos you don’t wanna mess with me. I’m crazy”.
I’m not tooooo sure if I'm even correct but i think something along those lines.
@@hafsa2am yeah its correct 😅
I almost didn’t make it through the beginning because the ads and paid promotions were so dense, but I’m glad I pushed through because this was such a raw and beautiful interview. I have nothing but the deepest respect for people who can talk so candidly about such difficult mental health issues. I had no idea Simon was tuned to this frequency and I’ll never look at him the same way again.
This video somehow manages to fill a bit of the void BBT has left in my heart when it ended. ❤ Thank you Mayim and Simon. 💞
I’m a single senior and binge every weekend on TBBT. I can’t pick a favorite character because I love them all. Such good actors and the show is my favorite sitcom.
For me, this may have been one of the most densely layered, complex conversations you've ever conducted since I've been watching the podcast. And I have to say I was engrossed in every minute of it. I actually watched the entire 2 hours in one sitting, not realizing in advance that it was indeed 2 hours long. I didn't even glance at the runtime until about 10 minutes before it was over...that's how completely I went on this ride with you guys. Again, for me this was just compelling as hell & Mayim, I just appreciate you more & more deeply with every successive podcast. Well done & thank you guys!
As a psychologist specializing in sports and performance, I can say that Simon is an example of a good patient/client that comes out of the world of the performance arts that do the work to heal and find balance, good for him. Is difficult to deal with anxiety, particularly when your career is under the scrutiny of others. I am happy that he is doing well. Also, it is unnecessary to rely so heavily on drugs from the start, please be careful.
Simon is just as smart and funny and nice as I imagined him to be. I enjoyed the movie he did with Meryl Streep so much. Highly recommend!
I didn't like movie (maybe it eas too hyped up), but Simon's performance was great.
What's the name of the movie?
@@tonillewalsh7796 Florence Foster Jenkins.
@@beeheart6529 Thank you!
Simon Helberg. Thank you for your honesty and openness. This took me a few sittings to watch but so worth it. Just a perfect conversation.
I have watched every episode of TBBT chronologically over and over. Sometimes it's just to be with my best friends and sometimes it's to analyze it but most importantly it's to watch Simon. From the first time I met him he was a show I said oh my god this man is a genius. I could write a book about every element where he shows genius. In this interview it is Express again and again. This interview also made me reiterate in my head and mental illness is normal obsession is normal we are who we are and I don't need to reason why I'm crazy though I haven't done tons of therapy and read a lot about it to get better whatever that means. But watching Simon and Maegan talk about it made me feel even healthier and made me feel even closer to these brilliant performers. I love the drama of pain being in a funeral procession on the floor crying of not being able to sit down constantly pacing of ripping apart your fingers mantras enough trying to listen to experts tell you how to meditate and experts telling you to get over it. It's all part of life. Thank you very much for sharing this.
Simon's absolutely right. In its original form, the show was funny but formulaic. Will the dorky guy get the cute girl? It was with the addition of Amy and Bernadette that Penny also became more 3D, and the show became truly original.
Simon comes off as such a mensch.
Howard and Amy bonding in the car to Neil Diamond. Classic tv (and BBT) moment. I knew after I watched the great conversation with Dustin that next up would be Simon. Fabulous. I so want to see this film. ETA: I finally stopped biting my nails when I got out of parochial (catholic) school (12 yrs. of catholic school)--coincidence? I think not.
Such a beautiful dynamic. I so appreciate the longer format. I love starting my day with this podcast ❤️
Simon was right about when you an Melissa joined the show, it did get a heart. My husband and I can not agree on what to watch, but Big Bang was one we could always agree on. We have probably watched the whole series at least 5 times. I look forward to when you and Melissa join each time we start the series, I stress through the season when you and Sheldon break up and am so happy when you got back together, and I smile every time Penny shows up in the elevator. All the characters are so amazing and we quote it all the time. Thank you all for bringing so much joy.
Still expecting hearing "howarrrrrd, your fruit loops are readyyyy" from behind😂🤣
Thanks for having Simon on! Favorite part was when Simon smiled about his impressions! This world is often often harsh and watching TBBT helps with my stress levels alot. Simon doing D+D was magical! I know you all can't retain everything you all do, but you and Simon made me look aught so much. I wish Simon the best. I used to rub my chest like that. I have many many phobias that I havent been able to live life to the fullest. I am 57 and am running out of time. Mayim and Simon, I love you both. I respect your struggles. Simon you got this!!!
Mayim, I love this podcast so much. I could live here. Thank you for a brilliant interview with Simon Helberg, a fascinating human.
Mayim your smile always makes me happy. this is the first podcast i watched and i gotta say you came off just as
candid and heartwarming to me as Amy´s character, thank you so kindly
I have a lot of respect for Simon Helberg's commitment to his work
This one was so good! 🤌❤️
Seeing Simon and Mayim together 🥺 and the way Simon talks about Kunal 🥺 love their real life dynamic! Simon is one of the good ones💎✨
Truly enjoyed the banter and openness between you two in this episode. As a fan we develop ideas about who the actors are but we rarely take the time to notice who they truly are, what they deal with as humans and the toll it can take while they take us away from our troubles. Thank you for sharing so openly
Love the Big Bang Theory! Just rewatched the series. It’s amazing! Thank you guys.
This FABULOUS episode is the one I was expecting after AS THEY MADE US film! Speaks about the joy to work, even the most difficult work, with a true friend. I adore with such amount of respect & love Mayim speaks of Jim Parsons academical acting process (for when Jim P. here?) so different from theirs. All the episode distills the love, admiration, friendship and proffessional respect between all TBBT cast, with Simon’s words: “The show people remember is the show of the seven of us”.
Said that, if you still haven’t watched Mayim’s screenwriting and directorial debut at ATMU, do it. It’s an exceptionally good film. It can resonate in many of us, not necessarily Jewish. I’ve “a Nathan” in my Christian family..but one I never let again in my life..even if it’s said us to forgive. Self defense is in first place.
Great episode! Favorite that I will always remember involving Simon was the letter from Howard's father. Brilliantly written & performed.
It's Mother's Day. I had to say goodbye to mom last August. I decided to watch the trailer for "As They Made Us". It brought back memories of the bed beside mom's bed. Just the trailer was very emotionally impactful.
I'm sorry for your loss 😢❤️
Been waiting for this one for a loooong time. Great stuff!
Howard! Thank you for getting Simon Helberg on your podcast, Mayim! Best birthday present ever!
His impressions are incredible
I totally agree
Howard's acting in TBBT was mind blowing....
He is so soothing to listen to!
His voice, his theories, his perspectives, his humour, the way his minds work!
It's brilliant!
I'm OBSESSED with Simon Helberg ‼‼
Wow. Thank you for sharing your intimate story of anxieties & other issues. You both are so right we have to not put a stigma on anxiety or depression. I work with VFW in rural Tennessee. They are struggling like no other.
Bless you both on sharing your talents & being human
My TBBT episode that had me ROTFLMAO was Howard (S Helberg) dressing up/impersonating Sheldon (J Parsons) for Halloween 🎃🤣😂
Me siento tan identificada con los dos personajes.... Y ahora con los dos bellos seres humanos que se muestran aquí... GRACIAS POR COMPARTIR
Simon is such a fantastic actor! He deserves it all
Great One! Simon is the coolest! Thanks for having him on Mayim.
What I loved about Simon’s character is Howard seemed more cultured than the rest of the characters… he could speak sign language, do impressions, etc…
After I saw your podcast interview with Dustin Hoffman I had to see your movie. It was SO well done. Disturbing, hard to watch, and revelatory. Everyone had amazing performances. It hit home. Thank you for your great work.
My favorite Amy episode….. “put it on me, put it on me, put it on me, put it on me…”. 👸🏼 Howard’s … Fruit Loops!! Bernadette “Oh Howie”…. 😸… 😂
I cannot put into words the level of appreciation I have for what you are trying to do (and succeeding in doing) by interviewing people oft put on pedestals and seen for their remarkable talent. Letting us in on their humanity, normalizing their experiences - the work I like to do on the daily w/ my own clientele so as to reinforce for my clients their self-efficacy that "no you are not crazy, you're human and managing how you've known best, how you learned and observed was 'the right way'"... to hear Simon and others talk about such normal human experiences validates for the rest of us how okay we are for "doing the best we can", that THAT is exactly where we are supposed to be, and all one could expect for ea person given their experiences personal and professional. Further, to be able to then hear how that presence has been used in different roles and experiences..... SO FASCINATING... Julia Overlin, MS LPCC NCC
i felt myself really getting drawn into this episode, really interesting conversation! it really was a great episode
What a lovely and thoughtful discussion amongst my 2 favorites from BBT!
I know everyone thinks Kaley and Melissa are pretty but Im gonna say it. Mayim is simply gorgeous, I love her wit and confidence and it helps that she's a genuinely pretty woman inside and out, she radiates loveliness
Oh no doubt! Mayim is a classic beauty!
I am wondering if I hold the world record for the number of times I have watched all the seasons. I can't tell you how many times I have watched it through exactly, but I may have a problem. I started watching it when it first come on the air of course, but back in 2012 I got really sick and my nervous and immune systems got messed up, but I ended up watching the show over and over again. At the time I downloaded the first four seasons, and the 5th was on tv, but I would watch them continuously, and would add another season once the new one was over. Since the show ended in 2018, I have gone through the whole series probably 2 or 3 times a year. I can't stop. For some reason it really helps my anxiety. My other go to is Friends, but I don't really watch every episode in order (I have before of course), it just helps me. Anyway, thanks to these wonderful actors who brought to life these amazing characters, it has made my life as it is, more enjoyable.
I def watch bbt every day pretty much the only tv I watch. Everything else is UA-cam research and music
It totally helps me as well….. has a weird effect like calming but there’s more to it !!!!!!!!
I happened to start watching from episode 1 on January 1st this year, so I’m going to keep track of how many times I watch it all the way through this year. I am curious. The show just never gets old.
I really enjoyed this episode. I love your podcast!
This cast deserves all its success. Johnny’s taking time off but Jim’s got Young Sheldon plus he did The Boys In the Band & Hollywood (both great), Kaley is doing great work in The Flight Attendant & Harley Quinn, Simon did the daring musical Annette and this Mayim movie, Kunal got great reviews for The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry plus he’s gonna be in an Adam Sandler movie, Melissa did a Steven Soderbergh film for heaven’s sake and Mayim has this podcast + her directorial debut + a new sitcom & of course Celebrity Jeopardy. Kudos.
So I just watched As They Made Us. Brava! I laughed and cried, got me in my gut pretty hard. Phew. The difficult work you’ve done on yourself, Mayim, helps all you communicate to in all the ways you do. And I can’t believe you put Mimi and Richard Farina’s Pack up Your Sorrows in it! What a blast from my past! Thank you for all of it.
Amy and Howard together again. I really loved the episode where Amy and Howard bonded with Neil Diamond. I wish I had a friend like Amy or Howard
Their bonding over neil diamond was one of the funniest episodes ever. So funny
@@debbieskrletts725 I admit I usually imagine myself bonding with Amy with Grease songs and bonding with Howard with Beatles songs
@@debbieskrletts725 I also sometimes imagine Howard as my paternal uncle and Amy as my paternal aunt by marriage (through Sheldon and not Howard obviously). To be exact I imagine Leonard as my father and Sheldon and Howard as Leonard's brothers
I just watched that episode!!!! Laugh out loud funny!
I find it so interesting when you talk about stylists trying to make you fit beauty standards. As a professional makeup artist and hairstylist I work extra hard to not only bring out my clients natural beauty but also help them actually feel beautiful in their own skin. As a cosmetologist we become natural sudo therapist and sudo anthropologist, and the art of helping someone find their own personal beauty is completely related to honing this talent. I wonder what your thoughts are on this perspective of insecurity and beauty. I know my most valued experiences in my professional career have been the moments when someone looks at me, with tears in their eyes, thanking me for making them feel beautiful. I just wish that someone could do that for you because you are beautiful and I love everything about you and I hope you can see a little glimpse of that someday.
Simon is such an incredible guest! When it was almost finished I looked to see how much longer the podcast lasted. That's when I saw I'd been watching for almost 2 hours! Felt like 30 min, 45 tops. Guess time really does fly by when you're having fun!
Thanks for the breakdown. Mayim love your character on The Big Bang Theory 😀
Just watched As they made us, wow, powerful, BRAVO!
I only recently started Big Bang Theory. I'm loving it. Each actor and character brought something special to the show. I must agree with Simon. Your character, Amy, was so delightful.
Delectable !!! Thank you again 🤓🤓❣️❣️❣️🥴💌
Mayim please do one with the entire cast of BBT 😍
This was fantastic. I feel like I was sitting there (much like Jonathan; OH and I am Canadian!) listening to a couple of friends chat about such a wide range of topics. Simon's quick wit and vulnerability paired with Mayim's honesty and golden heart made me feel right at home. Thanks for this! Appreciate your humanity ;)
I think so too. When Amy and Bernadette came on tbbt it became more complete! And tbbt is one of the few shows that makes me laugh out loud! Like friends😉🙃🙂
Another wonderful interview. A great guy.
Great interview. Brought many smiles and left connection with him. Love seeing the human side of actors. Definitely want to see the movie
You are my favourite character in the Big Bang 🥰 I’m so happy I found your channel .
You were vital in the success of this show , I have watched all series about 40 times I just love it . I’d love to meet you all
Great interview! Thanks Mayim!
He is right Mayim ❤️ And everybody else here too. TBBT became whole when you and Melissa came on the show. The first 3 seasons where great absolutely. But as I am watching it for the 3rd time now, I am always looking forward (a little impatient too) to season 4. You were such an important part and you crack me up all the time. Thank you for that and I sincerely wish you all the best in everything that you do ❤️🙏😍 Looking forward to seeing your movie 🔥Great interview, so nice to get to know Simon a bit more 🙏 Such a nice and funny guy!
Simon Helberg is a gift to Humanity. I felt seen with his stories.
And im so glad Mayim acknowledges how talented he is. thats what ive been saying for years, hes the most talented person ive ever seen. From acting, comedy, impressions to music. Hes got it all 🥹
Ms. Bialik, I just watched the trailer for As They Made Us. Just the trailer made me cry. I mean, I cry quite easily these days because of hormones and all the things related to that but, seeing Dustin Hoffman in the hospital bed took me back to when my Dad was in a hospital bed at home. This Thanksgiving day, it will be 9 years since he passed. I'm sorry I missed seeing your film in the theaters. I can tell by the trailer, this film is amazing! Thank you for making what I'm sure is a great film! I will figure out a way to watch it. God bless you!
Great interview!
Big Bang Theory Season 4 was the beginning of one of the greatest tv shows EVER!!
I totally agree! The show became even better when Amy joined the show!
I also usually imagine Amy is my friend, a famous scientist I idolize and hires me to work for her or my paternal aunt by marriage (I imagine Leonard as my father and Sheldon as Leonard's brother to be exact)
Everyone was outstanding. That’s what makes the show soo good !
It’s takes a team. No one could have done it alone. Love everyone acting. 💝💝
What a wonderful, enjoyable, and satisfying conversation you two had. Loved being in the audience! Loved the longer format! Hope you can do more like this. 🙏
Girl, I'm so proud of the movie you made. I just saw the trailer before this interview ended and was moved by it. I have fraternal twin daughters and one looks identical to you lol. I tell her often how much she reminds me of you. I adore both you and Jonathan and I'm excited about your spiritual journey, as well as your gift to the world. Loved you since Beaches! I would have never guessed you had insecurities, based on that stellar performance. Channel that same "larger than life" girl in everything you do!
I love how incredibly honest this podcast is. It's my new fave 😍
I love him so much! ❤️ Thank you for this episode!
I loved every minute of this. I appreciate the people you are. Jhonatan was al of us, watching in delight and knowing not to interfere 😂❤. I FIND IT UNBELIEVABLE that people would say “I hate your show but…” TBBT is amazing.
Didn’t want this one to end! Great episode ☺️
I just finished watching and it was so worth it! This was a rare and honest depiction of real behind the scenes life on Hollywood. I really loved it, thank you for sharing!
Cannot wait to watch this later. Our family loves him!
This episode is so inspiring. Thank you Mayim, Simon, and Jonathan for this excellent episode. It made me feel understood and seen. Like I'm not crazy. xxx
Next she needs to interview Jim Parson.
Love Simon. A comedic actor who is actually a funny person.
Great episode! I love the chemistry between you two. I totally agree; the character that Amy brought to the show, made it explode . I looooove Bing Bang and I rewatch it very VERY often; but I always “start” at the episodes where Mayim started out. I adore you! You are seriously talented. ❤
This got me excited big time
