It’s really challenging to raise children and to have a community that is not only invested in these kid’s education, but also their wellbeing and family life gives me so much hope in humanity. I think we’d have a lot more troubled people without teachers like them. Well done!

I actually went to school with Sean, after he got kicked out of here, for a 6 months. He ended up in a PRU (pupil referral unit), we didn't really talk but he seemed alright.

A bit before quarantine, these kids got in a fight in the canteen. There’s a door only teachers are allowed to use that goes from the canteen to the music corridor. I walked to rehearsals at lunch and there was blood smeared all over the walls coz one of them got his nose broken. Welcome to England.

A bully pushed my buttons to breaking point, and I did lash out, but not as intensely as Sean; I've regretted that ever since. Thankfully, a stern and firm word from the teacher was all that was needed to put me in place again.
