I’ve seen these on TV and I wanted to try it because it looks so good. I’m glad I found your video! I wasn’t sure where to get one but now I feel inspired to make one. Thanks for making it easy to follow and understand.
You could've omitted the panko for potato flakes. Maybe grate potato and use it at a coating? Mix grated potato, egg, meat and cheese (vegetables work well in this too). Wrap mixture on sticks and freeze it. Then coat it in batter and panko and fry immediately
Is this actual Korean street food? I'm Korean, but have never been to Korea, It would be wonderful to try something simple like this from my native country. I am 100% making this soon
For Korean corn dogs cornmeal is really not needed since the flour and everything else makes it it's own thing and cornmeal for a normal corndog is to get the sweet flavorful cakey breading around the beef
I'm from Texas and it's not a corn dog if you don't use corn meal for your batter. Where is the corn in your 'corn' dog? How about you call them 'Battered Korean Hot Dogs' instead.
@@mabeljoe4305 that's just it. it is NOT in any way... a corn dog. not the dog, not the batter... not anything. as Core said, corndogs have CORN MEAL in the batter. I would call this a panko dog, not a corn dog.

Ooohh, looks good but the only step you missed chef was rolling it in sugar after you’ve fried them!! Elevates the taste even more! 😊
Sounds amazing! - Chris
Looks absolutely delicious!!
It'd be cool to make a big batch of these, freeze them, and pan fry/bake them on a lazy night.
I think it would work to deep fried them, freeze them and then heat them in the oven. I will try and tell next week
So, I forgot to answer but it works pretty well
@@yoanfardella3421 sick!! Snack city just got a new addition.

what would you use as a gluten free replacement for the panko bread crumbs?
Maybe coconut. Almond flour. Just Google it. I know they have gluten free options for everything these days
Omg i have all the ingredients at home

For how many corn dogs is it enough?

You should probably take that coat off and not make any more videos.
