That's what I've been saying to people. Psa could literally arm your whole family and still be in budget.
Cue Obi Wan meme: That's... why I'm here.
PSA has definitely stepped up their game with the Dagger and Micro. Considering you would likely change out a few things even with the Glock, PSA’s are very comparable for a lot less money. All the reliability of a Glock, but with better ergonomics, higher cap magazines, and tons of slide options. Even if they were both the same price, PSA might have the winner.
Just dropped my review on the micro today as well! Good video, man. You touched on some key points.
Thanks man!!
Now if only I could buy one.....
They’re in stock right now for 350
Check everyday brother multiple times a day, last few days they’ve had them but very briefly. Just got a sniper green c1 about 5 minutes ago after missing the previous drops
Just bought my C-1 today.
Somebody on Facebook told me to check the website at 4pm and I was able to snag one THAT DAY
They drop random days, but at 10am and 4 pm. Just keep watching my friend!
A new shooter, or anyone on a budget would be so much better off buying a Dagger & 1000rnds of practice ammo, than any glock, sig, or whatever.. They have been proven to work and are reliable that I would suggest anyone without much trigger time to get this and practice, rather than worry about being gucci to your buddies..
Everything Glock should have been doing… but cheaper.
I just ordered the exact same gun last week, with a Holosun 407k already mounted, so I was really excited to hear your comments! I can't wait to get it and take it to the range. I have a Dagger Compact and have been very pleased with it so far. Fingers crossed!
Took my MicroDagger C1 to the range yesterday and it is a nice offering from PSA!
I’m so glad I tapped on your video. Not big on glocks (when I 1st got into handguns more seriously I got a gen 3,33 from looking at the ballistics & all, I might like it more now that then but dont miss it)I’m not in a huge rush to get one of these but after the rush on them slows down some It looks like a great little gun. I have a 365xl that’s stock other than some + 0 pinky extensions on a couple mags. Wasn’t about to start replacing barrels, slides etc for nominal if any benefits. Sig is beating the golden eggs out of the 365 goose with a 2x4 at this point. Just visited the Summerville & Myrtle Beach PSAs this last summer..couldn’t believe the parts ,prices on blems ect ect. + the fishing stuff. I do want to try a RMSC dot since I have a pistol with a spot for one. . I don’t have a dot & have only tried one on a friend’s PCC & it was not a nice one ,zeroed correctly, the gun was crap & in 10mm .just not good in any way. I like the swampfox, halosun, but saw a guy last night,New York cop “big dick tactical “I believe his channel was called. He showed a dot from geisley .3moa. & looked good & sturdy. around $125. I dk.found him looking at mini wing holsters & owb model. I don’t know what dot ill wind up with but want to try one. Anyhow thanks. The Pegasus doesn’t look all bad either. & I get the metal mag release swap for the metal mags ,but think it will eat up the polymer on the mags? Just wondering. Thx again & hny.
Nice video. Just shot mine at the range yesterday. Good job PSA.
That "double" reset is a little weird. I love my dagger compact, so ill probably pick one of these up for my vehicle. Nice review!
I recently came extremely close to getting the SIG X Macro. Changed my mind at the last minute, before I even knew this existed ! So glad that I waited.
Please provide expereinces after EDC + 1000rds and your thoughts. Thanks!
I just got a Dagger Micro delivered the other day for a pretty dope 43X frame I 3D printed... still waiting on a spring for the mag I 3D printed for it. Looks fun, can't wait to test fire mine!
Any links or info on the printing?
@@FearScherer Odysee has a lot of files on there... any frame in particular you're looking for?
I've had TERRIBLE customer service experience with them so far. Tried to order this twice. Both times canceled my order without telling me. Just refunded it. When I called to ask, they claimed they didn't have appropriate documents when I had directly responded to their email with them within an hour. Anyone else have issues? I wanted to order on phone to avoid that but they don't let you....
Just shot my c-1 with the 407k for the first time today. Put 250 rounds thru it. Been carrying a shield for 5 years with apex trigger and iron sights.. this was very different, and getting use to that red dot and the shitty trigger was frustrating at first. Will need some more time behind it and another 500 or so rounds. Also NEED to replace the trigger, even if it’s for a Glock OEM that would be a huge improvement i think. Also I couldn’t tell if the built in comp was actually helping muzzle flip. I guess only time will tell for sure.
Looks more like my Glock 48 than a 43 or 43x. I just picked up the compact G19 gen 3 replica dagger and haven't shot it yet but I really like the feel and look of it. My only complaint is the stock trigger feels mushy and the mag release stinks. otherwise, not bad.
It’s a 43x length barrel but the comp on the end brings it to 48 length so you’re not wrong in saying it looks like the 48
My micro is a nightmare... Fail to extract 7 ins at 7 oclock at 10 yards.. It's going back... Looks like it'll be forever..
🇺🇸
🤘
Just ordered the exact C-1, Thanks for all the valuable insights 🤙
Glock 48 holsters should work for that, especially if you get the tlr7 sub
It’s not a real gun without an Apex. Got one on all my Glocks, War Poet CR920…
Crazy how fast they sell out
Buy up everything you want now from PSA before this shit gets outta hand on price. they are by far at the top of the ingenuity game over anyone else for the price.
That was a very useful comparison to the Shield and the SIG. I just finished watching, and I believe that I actually would very much like that triggers's properties for a carry pistol. But then I like a well designed revolver trigger, and the triggers on KAHR pistols just fine. It's obvious in the video that the trigger performance didn't keep him from a fast and accurate mag dump. This pistol is obviously going to sell in huge numbers.
Except for the fact that they have never been in stock. It’s a joke at this point 😊
Kahr has a double stack coming out soon
Just call it what it is. A 43x/48 clone
Call it inspired. PSA makes a firearm that improves on its base design. I honestly love my Dagger Compact more than my Glock 19. Reliability has never been an issue either. They just make great guns and because they don't distribute to retailers people question there quality. It's honestly just to cut out the middle man and keep cost down.
It’s like a 365 XL had a baby with a Glock
How long have you been a Woody's member?
Can someone educate me why you'd get the more expensive dagger micro with the longer slide and not just get the glock 19 clome atp. They're basically the same size, the width is different but its really not much different and you can use cheap pmags instead of a proprietary mag that costs 3 more. Saying its thinner than the standard dagger therefore its better for concealment kinda makes no sense to me if you're not getting the shorter more concealable slide. But maybe im just missing something, im not educated at all about this type of thing.
I run that Sentinel 2 with the ironside shield on my C-1 slide with a 43X MOS frame. How do you like yours?
It’s been great!
Dang! something else to spend money on☺
How cheap do you guys possibly need the micro mags to be? They're already far and away the cheapest 15 rounders that are G43x pattern. Hell, the blued ones are even cheaper than Promag's garbage half the time.
Correction: Even the nickle-plated micro mags are cheaper than promag's offering, and all of them are cheaper than Shield Arms.
Get a magwell for the micro. ✌✌✌
Disappointed that they don't offer it with a 10 round magazine, as I live in a restrictive state
I would move
@@jimmybeasley6008 Pack up my shit and move because I can't have a 15 round magazine? Come now.
You can use OEM Glock 10 round magazines. They’re cheaper than other mags, and plentiful.
As I don’t live in a round restricted state, the PSA 15 round magazines are great. They just work, and I’m liking my micro dagger (black frame, sniper green extreme carry slide).
@@E52O4 Good point.
I know that the G19 10 round mags are cheap. Not so sure that is the case with the 43x magazines.
Glock "Perfection" Mo' Bettah Perfectionated. Now that Gaston is gone, maybe, just maybe Glock corporation will stun us with innovation in a couple of years. 😮
Just got the all black carry cut!!! Can't wait to shoot it this weekend 😻 I added a 3d printed magwell from ebay for $25. Looks great. Also have the primary arms micro reflex.
Great vidro. I love my Dagger compacts. One has a Shadow Systems trigger. But the Dagger trigger is a dream to shoot in itself.
Everything was fairly well polished on mine. I haven't done any upgrades yet, but I will. Most will be cosmetic upgrades. I wish Timney made a trigger to fit it.
That holster sucks I have it for a p365 and the hook broke and it always clicks the magazine out of battery or when I get out of the vehicle it's in the seat
This man’s shooting is killer.
🤘
I’ve never been a fan of Glock pistols just bc the way they felt in my hand. I do really like the new PSA micro dagger and for the price can’t go wrong
I hate the grip angle of Glocks. This pistol feels great in the hand. It's actually the best feeling out of all of my pistols.
@@guitarguy7428 awesome I was hoping it was way better than the Glock grip angle.
I’m thinking I could get a micro frame and make my G43 a higher capacity capable pistole 👊😉
That's basically a glock 43x with a compensator
I have the C-1, same size as my Glock 48, fits the three Glock 48 holsters I own.
Three Sixty-Five.
Which mag release did you go with for your Dagger? I have compact Dagger and do not like the mag release one iota.
Great video!
Ghost Inc Tactical, works great! Primary Arms has them > bit.ly/3QsDUao
Thanks much!
Really great video! Answered every question I had about the micro dagger. Thank you
I am so jealous. I got mine the other day and ended up ill. Will get out there asap when better. Note, the weather here has been uncommonly warm and i am stuck inside 😢😢😢!
Super annoying by the time i get the email within mins they're sold out already 😒 i wish psa would just either put out enough or limit sales to one per purchase
The dagger series would be really nice with some interchangable backstraps!
We all have to start asking PSA for the short frame and a 10 round flush mag and 12 round extended
Man watching this video got me 3 psa15rd mags for my glock 48
Who makes that Multicam jacket you're wearing?
About about Glock aftermarket trigger compatibility?
So theoretically a Glock 48 holster should fit nicely with the comp?
1 vs 3 mags is at least $60 right there so add $60 to the price when comparing
Really good review. Ws skeptical but think I'll have to get one. I'm also a subscriber now.
Just bought one for my girl. The price is unbeatable
Nice gun!!!!!
Was looking at getting one of these I rented one at the range it’s definitely worth more than it cost very accurate and not snappy at all
Ironic how everyone does a better Glock than Glock themselves
Just looking at the links. The sentinel II might be just about right. It has the one with tritium rears, and the one with the removable irons in front. My xl is one of the earlier ones that you do loose the rears if you put a dot on. The tritium model looked pretty good. I like night sights for more than just shooting. Good for finding your pistol in a tent in the middle of nowhere too. Thoughts on that?and do I NEED the iron side cover?if not Id like to keep it simple. But if buttons get pushed easily or something, pls lmk. DK anything about them but just want simple, reliable, low sitting dot. With the right size window. Unless im missing something. Enlighten me pls. Appreciate your input..takem easy.
Any idea if my Glock 43x frame internals will work in it? Just don’t like the Glock frame at all. Figured I’d have some backup internals or maybe buy a stripped Sct frame for my Glock internals
Everything except the trigger block assembly. If you want to swap triggers with OEM Glock, you have to buy the 43x/48 trigger block. Spring is different for cruciform than PSA set up.
Gaaayyyyyy
Man that range look just like Woodys where I shoot.
Just bought mine yesterday. Can’t wait !
Really appreciate you sharing this. Been consifering the Xmacro for my first handgun. After shooting one I liked it but aftet also shooting the 43X and seeing the dagger Micro its been on my radar. I missed they were doing the comped versions so definitely going go keep an eye out. Thanks again 🤙
Slide to frame fit is straight trash from what I can see.
Funny. In all practical purposes it should cost less than the standard dagger. Same amount of parts just less material.
It’ll drop down as the excitement dies down a bit and more come in stock.
Side note the compensated slide is not compatible with a 48 barrel. I bought one thinking I could get the 43/43x barrel later but the longer 48 barrel will not fit due to the internal design around the comp.
Damn. Now you're telling me I need to get two different slides😂
Didn’t know welyn was into guns
Never in stock 😂 selling a dream
Does it have the same dagger trigger. Asking for compatibility of aftermarket triggers
No it does not
My don loved his 43x, Im thinking I need one of these micro daggers.
That comp makes a difference
How’s that red dot? I’ve been looking into one. Bigger window for a micro dot right?
Yep, it’s been great! I have review coming on it soon.
What optic is that
Swampfox Sentinel II
great video. How much of a difference do the cuts in the slide make when it comes to recoil ??
The cuts, not much. The comp cut out, a good bit to help.
Do compact and full size mags fit in it or do you need to get the micro mags?
Micro mags or Glock 43 mags
I have a eps carry but I love the look of that sentinel 2 😭 😂
How's the recoil and grip compared to the sig macro?
They both are great and have good texture to them. The Macro is slightly wider.
This gun is a sig sauer slide with a glock frame/grip handle
No, it's a Glock 43 slide and 43x grip.
Everyone talking about how good the price is…. What’s the price.. they are sold out on psa and there’s no price
They come in stock around 4pm EST on weekdays. You can check them all out at my link in the pinned comment. Like 350 beans.
It was 389 clams for me before tax and FFL transfer. ~425 when it was all said and done. Comes with one 15 round mag and extras cost about 30 a piece. So I'm in ~485ish total.
One of these days I’ll have one
Is the micro dagger single stack r double
Double…like a stack and a half
"coming out with" uh... yeah, thats a myth. lol. cant ever see them in stock. the one your holding here has to be a fluke. it doesnt exist. lol.
4pm EST weekdays is the restock 😉
@@GearKnowHowto piggyback off this, check the website at around 3:50 pm... I was able to snag one when I logged on at like 3:58
Awesome. A gun that is never in stock, and I will never be able to buy…. PSA needs to step it up
4pm EST Weekdays, that’s how I grabbed mine 👍
@@GearKnowHow I finally picked up one on Friday. I got the Micro Dagger C-1 with Shield Cut in Sniper Green. I’ll end up buying a shorter slide in the future, but for now this will due.
So is the barrel recessed any from the end of the slide? It’s difficult to tell by the pictures I’ve seen and videos watched.
Yup about half an inch
Just think of a G43x barrel inside a G48 slide
Is the magazine release reversible for left-handers?
Yep
do you think the trigger group could use an upgrade like a Timney or Johnny Glock?
Runs great stock, but you can squeeze a little more accuracy out of it with an upgraded trigger.
@@GearKnowHow
Idk. I polished the internals before I took mine out to the range. Not much different than OEM Glock trigger feel imho. Very accurate, and not any snappier than my Glock 43 (I have extreme carry slide set up). Might buy the C-1 slide and another optic in the future just to see which set up I like better.
Nice review and shooting!
My Shield Plus is 15+1, so there's that. I do have every Dagger except for the Micro, though. They are all great. Awesome review!
Nice review. Subbed.
All sold out... psa is killing it these days
4pm EST weekdays 👍
I’d buy one but they are never in stock
4pm EST weekdays, that’s when I grabbed mine
Great review … thanks.
Do you know what holsters it works with?
Link in the pinned comment to one that works with some cuts to open up the bottom for the comp. Otherwise most Glock 43X holsters should work.
If the trigger is really good, this is a great option instead of a Sig P365 X Macro. Just as great at about HALF the price.
from this video, it's not "really good".
@_Jashawuh ...well, I'm not a competitive shooter. So for my needs I see nothing that would not make this a very good carry pistol. I'd be getting this for self defense ONLY. If anyone thinks that they will have time to obsess about a "reset" when some thug is in their face trying to murder them, they're mistaken. If you're 30 feet away, and the quslity of a reset might make a difference, an over zealous prosecutor might say that you should have been able to retreat. I think that Kahr triggers are just fine for self defense, and a well tuned revolver trigger won't hinder a well practiced and disciplined shooter. Besides, these are selling faster than they can be produced. That guarantees that trigger mods are going to show up, if needed. So this gun is a steal. Half the price of a comparable SIG, and not much more than half the price of a similar Glock G43X or G48. But better features and ergonomics than either Glock.
Trigger is good, about the same as Glock OEM trigger imho. I did polish all internals that needed polishing before I cleaned/lubed/reassembled when it first arrived - just habit. Doing this allows me to inspect parts, find any rough edges that need smoothing out, and clean out any shavings or other debris that may have been from assembly.
They're finally out? No emails
Usually in stock around 4pm EST on weekdays here - bit.ly/3vdXqPa
@@GearKnowHow looks like they have a g48 style and 43x. What's annoying when companies do this is they talk about it for years but they don't make that much and put them out. Prodigy is a good example.
Did you have to use 124 grain? I just got shipping info on mine
Just 124gr HSTs 👍
I shot 115 gr as well as 124 gr, with only one FTE in 180 rounds that may have been shooter induced.
