Chamberlain MyQ Video Garage Door Opener Keypad

I had high hopes for the Chamberlain MyQ video keypad, however poor battery life, a lack of onboard storage, and the annoying pay wall make this one a dud for me.
For the price, it may suit some peoples’ needs. Especially if you’re willing to pay the subscription.

Someone needs to work on aftermarket mount that has solar charging. That would solve the battery issue.the thing is the mount will have integrate the battery with solar on the top and sides.

Another great, informative video. I was looking at this opener and decided a hard pass after viewing your video. I already pay for the Ring ecosystem and don't need to pay for, yet, another service. Also, having to remove the unit to charge it is just too much.

Hate mine- it intermittently works- never closes my garage with just the garage button. Spent over an hour on support call- guy left me on silent hold for over 30 min so I had to hang up. Would never recommend.
