    although this level doesn't fit into the game, especially considering you wasn't able to pitch the mouse in the DOS version, still level designers are geniuses deciding to try this

    are the enemy models made of voxels, or is it the RT effects that makes them look like that pseudo-3d?

      Look up Voxel Doom II. It's a great mod, every enemy and decoration sprite is turned into an incredibly accurate 3D voxel. Makes playing in VR alot better.

      my guess is that light sources must be positioned manually for each level
      they only did the original map packs for now

      Exactly, it would not look good because there would be a lack of light sources. This mod is only intended for now to be played with the main campaign.
