It's kind of cool how they animated new scenes and used voice actors from the show to create this game

They actually used the soundtrack when aang fights ozai, fucking perfect

OC Goku but Raava was destroyed, and Deus ex Jinorra gave her her powers back. That's not growing since the beginning of time.
I really loved this game, it was short but absolutely a great experience and proves you don't need to have state of the art graphics to make something look good
And that final moment when the soundtrack kicks in was priceless 12:20 , gives me goosebumps every time
Same here and Korra and Raava delivering that chilling line to Hundun increases the chills tenfold

Just some advice. Before you complete the last two missions. You should max out or at least level 9 in all you bending and trying and buy those talismans from the shop. Makes it feel like your a full avatar.

Before my Water- and Eartbending were at its strongest I was like 'Oh shit another fight, I better run' After I got stronger I was just like 'Ha Come at me! ' ahaha

I have to use the talisman that halves your attack power. Otherwise I'm just OP
I was all about waterbending the full game. Only used the others when totally necessary and even went back to gain more xp in it. When I got all moves and maxed it, I was so op that I destroyed Hundun. Used Katara's spirit water, healing artifact (For constant regen), double attack, and 3 heals.
Couldn't use the others really well. Earth was too slow. Fire was too close range (Not that I mind fighting up close but I like to hit my opponent wherever they are). And air was not really focused. Water felt like a constant flow of focused attacks that hit everyone wherever they were.

I used Earth for big guys
I used Fire for when there weren't that many (and to shoot fireballs from my feet)
I used Water for ranged attacks
I used Air for multiple targets.
You don't NEED to. It's just for immersion purposes.

I actually quite like this idea for a final boss. Conjoined Twins makes for an interesting set of animations and attacks, with one taking a break or focusing on moving around, while the other focuses on attacking. Shame they didn't follow through with that and just ended up making it a "Platform-Teleport Spam" encounter half-way through though.
Have to say though, that stretchy "backpack" they share looks like it hurts.
Something tells me if they put in more time and effort as if it were another Bayonetta entry, they can REALLY make Korra great. Nothing is disappointing from P* as of yet, this seems like a mini project they had in between their games.

I believe Platinum Games made Bayonetta (SEGA is the publisher) so the original poster was saying that if PG put more effort into this game, like they would a Bayonetta game then it could've been a lot better
the moment that she evades something and the time turns slow , the evade system 5 times and then stuck a litle bit on the floor , the habilities sound, the combo system too

***** Anything is better than Korra vs. Unalaq. Amon, Zaheer and Kuvira were all interesting antagonists. Unalaq was just your run-of-the-mill psychopath with no intention but to destroy the world for no effin' reason.
this guy was Fucking hard to defeat on extreme, died tons of times, you can take like 2 hits and you're dead

The only problem i had with this game was fire bending. I didnt like how it was only meant as a close combat element.

Yeah, I can't say I think any of the bending except maybe Earth was handled well, or at least accurately. Like, why is Water the "long ranged bending" when all bending arts have long range capability? If it were up to me, I would've made the elements distinct like this-
Water, being a versatile element, would be the Jack of All Trades; average in stats but can do what the other elements offer, just not as well as a respective element. And definitely has the most utility
Earth would make Korra a tank, able to dish out more damage and take a lot of damage, but is slower compared to the other elements. Also provides the most crowd control via stunning enemies with concussive blows, burying them into the ground, and so on
Fire would be the Glass Cannon bending, destroying enemies with greater ease via raw damage and the "burn" status effect (dealing damage over time, and making them more vulnerable to further damage), but with the trade off of lesser defense.
Air would make Korra a speedster, moving and attacking much faster whilst also providing a lot of air maneuverability, at the cost of poorer offense and defense. Also makes her harder to hit via blowing away enemies and projectiles

Not a mistake. Korra preferred firebending because it fit her personality, but she struggled with air because it’s the most spiritual element, yet she sucked at the spiritual aspect

i think it would be so much better if the avatar series was made into a fighting game like naruto ultimate ninja storm.
Probably the closest we'll ever get to a God of War styled Avatar game.
I just played through this game. As a mere avatar fan i like the game. But as a gamer i had some issues with this game. First of all the game is too short. Second: the animation cut scenes look Off and by that i mean they look like they are going at 10fps. And the model of Korra seems a tad off from the Show.
Thirdly: it was mainly just Korra. You only see Mako and Bolin for like 15 seconds at pro-bending in the first 15 secs of the game and then they are gone entirely throughout the game. I would have appreciated it more if they were in more cutscenes and also perhaps fight along side me. As well, all other Characters are void from the game (save Jinora and iroh).
Lastly: This game had a pretty bad plot and lacked depth. I greatly liked the past Avatar games on PS2, more than this one.
Verdict: 6/10
ive played this and i really like it.the avatar state for one thing is amazing. the final battle is awesome.

Im still in the north pole part, versus that machine and the equalists, just unlocked firebending
all you need is Earthbending tbh, maybe some Airbending later in game, just power up earthbending and u will be doing rather longrange (not as far as water though) rock atacks that do a tonne of damage and hit enemies in a cone. Airbending later just kills everything around you when powered up
coming back to this after years is making me think whoever made this guy was inspired by sukuna
if I beat this boss and I go back to beat him again can I use my avatar state again because apparently I can't

MLGLogy She's not Better then Aang. She Said her powers growed since time began so that means the AVATARs power. Aang Book 3 with that elemental sphere is the most badass thing ever! Aang Can easily destroy this Guy in the game with the elemental sphere. Kids nowadays never know What ATLA the original series were like....

That's a moot point. If you watched season 2 of LoK, you probably saw Avatar Wan was close, if not on the same level as Korra and he had no past Avatars. He was the first Avatar. Also, Korra has done things far more powerful than anything Aang has ever done.
And Aang is nowhere near as badass.

***** It took me about 3 hours to beat. 30 minutes of it was restarting at deaths however cause I suck at games. You also get a "pro bending" game mode that only takes about 10 minutes but there's 3 difficulties.
The game's 15 bucks digital only, it's short but great and replayable.

This game makes me feel like such a piece of crap gamer... I can't seriously be this bad at a nickelodeon game. Playing Last of Us on survivor? found that to be easy. Witcher 3 on Death March? not a problem. Getting all the trophies in Binding of Isaac Rebirth, Surgeon Simulator, Guacameele, even Resonance of Fate? Fun times (yes, actually had fun prying eyes outta Bob for a few hours).
Yet here is this game (a kids game), and I'm getting my ass whooped by some freaky weird dude x 2. I heard most people say the naga part in chapter 5 was the hardest part for them. I actually found that part fun. WTF is wrong with my gaming abilities!?

have you started the hard campaign yet? holy shit the last naga run... you get hit once and you loose and have to restart the whole level... and if you dont get a checkpoint after you finish it and die at the begining of the next level you have to restart the naga run...

on normal mode, the game is easy to beat. but if you're on the road to platinum, the extreme difficulty is freaking hard! collectibles hunt and naga run can be pretty annoying

only reason it wasn't so powerful was cuz she got manipulated an lost connection to previous lifes. her avatar state was just a small boost to her current experiance. no help from previous lifes = shitty avatar state sadly. why the directors went on with that was beyond me. she should've atleast reconnected with Aang, so we could have some scenes where he helps her an also thanks her for rebuilding the air nation. like roku did for aang.
