MOST EXCELLENT !!!! I play mostly (a unique) Double C from the 5th/7th position and up, with open strings 'to' the 'capo' at 2 half-steps 'up' ... for very high versatility in mimicing an A/D tuned celtic fiddle 'lead' with lots of clawhammered 'arpeggios' and 'ornamentation' .... plus, the underlying base notes, simultaneously with the 'lead'. Celtic music MUST be a 'full house sound' or its usually weak and 'lonely' on a 5 string banjo. Sincerely, Very much appreciated.
Thanks sir ;) enjoy info and explained well
Thank you and glad to help!
Makes a lot of sense. 👍 Great post.
Thanks Chris!
