Also if my memory is correct on the dvd I have of the film, part of the special features section where they explain how they did some of the scenes in the film, Danny Devito explains that Matilda felt a bit nervous about the dancing bit where she makes different things fly around the room, so he requested that he and the rest of the crew behind the scenes dance as well which made her feel a little more comfortable. Yes Danny was an absolute angel to Mara Wilson. So different to her on screen father he played. A real nice guy and a great actor.
