Oh my goodness I can hardly wait to follow along with this tutorial. I just love this fairy house. It is the best one I have seen so far. Thanks so much🙂❤
I can’t wait to do it myself! Here in Tunisia materials are limited. I have Fimo. Hope I can find the liquid fimo as an adhesive. I don’t know what I can use, incase I don’t find it. Thank you for the tutorial! I love it, and not complicated for the material vise. 😍
Hello Burcu🌺 Thank you for your nice comment!! I think it is the first from Tunisia😊 I hope you get Fimo Liquid soon to start building your own fairy house👍🧚♀️ So have fun😍
Beautiful fairy house. Thank you for sharing how you made it. Just watched the video again. When you baked the fairy house the final time in the oven for 30 mins at 110 F did you have the roof on the jar when you baked it, or did you separate the roof and jar part for the final baking ? Thanks.
Hello Mariontl🤩 Thank you for your comment and question. After modeling, we bake the roof separately and only once. The cardboard withstands the low temperatures. At first we bake the lower part of the house short. After decorating, we bake it again. At 110 degrees Celsius (about 230 ° farenheit) for a half an hour. Have a nice day👍💕💕💕💕
Hello Amanda🌺 Thank you. We're glad you like it😍 The cookie cutters we have found in different cheap shops here in Germany , in the supermarket or a bakery store. The most of it are very cheap no name products. Any tools we have made ourselves. And others -like the metall dotting tools - we have ordered in special handcrafting shops in the internet. You don't need expensive tools . You can use so many things from the kitchen. 👍👍👍 Have fun and good look for your project🥰
Such a beautiful little house! Thanks for taking the time to show us each step....I’ve subscribed so I never miss another video....oh, btw, thanks so much for the English!
super cute! thank you. others I've seen looked to complex and intimidating for me to try to start. this one is super cute and looks easy enough to try! thank you
ronie327 Thank you for your nice comment! That's true. That was our idea.We have thought....why we have to make everything complicated? We will do it easier😉 So have fun to create your fairy lamp!!!👍😊
Hello Mary! 🙂 We bake the house and the roof once each for stability. And then another 30 minutes at the end. When exactly we pre-bake and bake everything is described in the video. Have a nice day.
Hello! Thank you for your nice comment😍😍 Of course you can use air dry clay. That is no problem. But if you build the fairy house out of polymer clay then baking will give you a faster result 😉😉😍
Hello Kristina! We have used the soft pastel chalk from Faber Castell with 24 different colours. For painting the house we have taken cinnamon, light ochre and burnt umber. So have fun 😍
Judith Hamilton Hello Judith! Thank you for your comment. The clay that we use is Fimo soft. That must bake in the oven. No air dry clay. We showed it in the video which colors of Fimo we took. But if you want, you can try it with air dry clay. Have fun😘
So very beautiful! I do wonder, though, how does the solar lamp get recharged? Do you have to take it out during the day? Could you hang the light so that the light coming in the little windows could recharge it? Just thinking. This would be a really cute thing to hang on the back porch or your patio. Such a wonderful tutorial! The thing about tutorials is not to make it just like the one you made, but to take that basic idea and add our own things to make it individual. I just love this! You have a new subscriber!
TheMoziere Thank you so much for your kind words and subscribing! And you are right. We hang out the lamp outside during the day. Our window is a little bit too small to let the lamp in the house for recharging. But it's a good idea. If you make the window larger , the solar lamp can stay in the house while recharging. Thank's a lot !!!
debbie daugherty Hello Debbie! That's a pity, of course! We have only german and english subtitles! But the tutorial is very easy to understand, even without subtitles👍👍😉😊
im going to try to make one let you know how it turns out every thing i make cracks dont know why maybe its the clay going to try fimo been using sculpy 3 thanks for the reply
nancy martinez You're welcome! ;-) Because of the clay you use and it is cracking.... Is it possible, that your oven is to hot? ( We also had pieces which were broken. Now we know, our oven is inexact) It's better to use an oven thermometer. Sculpey III will baked at 130 degree maximum. Better is 120 (Fimo at 110) And when your piece have a thickness of 6mm, 15 minutes of baking is enough. 👍 Try it, and please tell us if it worked. Best wishes😍
Sculpey III is very bittle, it's possible that is the reason for your cracking. It isn't a very good clay. I'd stick with Primo for something like this. :)
Tommy Neu Hello! We have download the music from the free UA-cam audio library. There are many songs, which we have chosen for our tutorials. But we're sorry, we didn't know all the songs names🙄
