That was simple, yet awesome! I was about to give up on Thunderbird because I seemingly could only do one or the other. This will be immensely helpful to me and my team. Thank you!
Love it. Another video was suggesting to copy paste the HTML script but did not work. This is much neater! Champ. I can now F-off Outlook and all its stupid bugs
Thank you soo much! I started a new job and everyone has outlook but me. (not a fan of Thunderbird , but I have no choice) I had to copy and paste my signature until now!
If you want use a logo on signature, the best and simple way is make all signature in Adobe Illustrator, converter all elements in path, copy all together and paste in the Thunderbird's HTML box. No external links and isn't necessary permition to allow external content in the message. Works very well.
Thanks, this almost worked. I followed your instructions to the letter. Although My HTML logo does appear when I prepare a new message, when I send it to myself as a test, all I get is the name of the logo in text. Any help would be appreciated.
Those 2 dashed lines (hyphens) are known as the "signature deliminator." That separator is used by Thunderbird to strip off the old signature when replying or changing identities. If the deliminator is removed, the signature becomes part of the message and can no longer be automatically removed (since it can't be identified using the separator), causing a stacked signature. That being said, I prefer the separator being removed. To switch it off for all identities of your accounts: Click the Menu icon (those 3 dashed lines stacked on top of each other) > Options > Options > Advanced> General tab Click on 'Config editor' button towards the bottom right side of the screen. It will tell you to be careful, warning you changes made could void your warranty. Proceed. In the top search type: separator Look for this line: mail.identity.default.suppress_signature_separator; false Double click to toggle 'false' to 'true' or right click on line and select 'Toggle' Close config editor - top right X (closing the window) Click on OK to save changes in Options. I'll be sure to do a video on this in the future.
After a lot of search finally found perfect and simple way to add signature with text and image both. Thanks a Lot Sir.

Hi thx a lot for this vid, do you know how to get rid of the two hyphens on top of the Signature? --
