As a native english speaker, I wanna take this time to say that your english is really good and you using this youtube channel and making these types of commentary videos to practice your english is a very creative way of trying to learn a language! I also recently started taking a Japanese language elective class at my university as I'm interested and keen on learning Japanese as I think it's a really beautiful language to listen to, and me finding your youtube channel here has given me an idea to try out this type of video format to help practice my Japanese. Thank you for the inspiration to help me improve in my Japanese, and also great job at practicing your english speaking skills. I can tell that you've been working really hard to perfect them! Hope you hit 1k subscribers soon!
I learned Chinese mostly from a girlfriend who is a native speaker. She has a wonderful and endless sense of humour. So, yes, some of her 'common use' terms and phrases were not at all things one should say in public. She got me a fair few times with these. It was funny. I have to laugh. :)
I am glad youtube suggested this channel. I love listenning to her talk and always watch to the end ❤. This channel will rocket to 10K+ if people leave likes and comments.
You are an third years undergrad??? You are great at english! I'm also japanese university student and losing my confidence on my English. Why are you so fluent??
心配しないでよ。 I’m a native English speaker. I, and I’m sure many others, would’ve understood what you meant by that because it would’ve been apparent that English wasn’t a language you spoke on the daily. That teacher was just not as mindful as he should have been. That being said, 恥ずかしいだったね。 (or should it be でしたね since we’re strangers?) 違いをわからなくて恥ずかしい。
do most Japanese attend college? what do most students major in? I am interested to hear more about how student life is like in Japan! how/where did you learn to speak English so well? You honestly speak very well (leaning towards American accent).
How did the teacher react to how you phrased it? Because he should have used it as a 'teachable moment," and he absolutely should not have laughed, for example.
These videos are so fun ^ ^ Cute rambling. And the use of "like" is so American hah. Not a bad thing!!
