Our weekly newsletter is all about what it is like to run our coffee business. And don't worry - we are not trying to sell you anything - it is just another outlet for us to share some fun stories and things that are happening in our shops. :)
Welcome to "twenty twenty coffee" - our small coffee shop located on the west coast of Denmark.
Join me as I make few orders in our coffee shop. I was working alone for few hours - which is very unusual in our shop - so a bit of pressure on me but also a lot of fun! Follow along as I serve our customers with some nice coffees, homemade cakes and delicious food. :)
We are excited to start our UA-cam journey - so let us know if you like it and if you would have any recommendations or ideas for our future videos! We are looking forward to try different formats and share what we do with you all! :))

Jesus loves you ❤️ so so much. It is his desire to be with you. He longs for you. All you have to do is repent and give up all sin to follow him. His word says "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." If you are going through anything, he is right there waiting for you, constantly waiting for you to come to him. God gave up everything he loved through his son Jesus just for the chance that you might love him back. He is waiting with open arms. And time is short. These are the last days. I say all this because I care and don't want any of you to perish and neither does he. Please turn to him and repent now while there is still time. He loves you. The God of all creation actually loves you. There are things that don't always make sense in this life, things that cause us to blame God, and believe me I've been there too over some extremely heart-wrenching situations but he is a God who will never leave us nor forsake us so long as we stay with him. He is the complete expression of love. Just give him a chance. His heart longs for you. He chose you when he planned creation. You are not a mistake. His thoughts towards you outnumber the grains of sand. He died for you. The God of all creation let himself be nailed to a cross and suffer for you so you don't have to. Please make the right decision to repent and turn to Jesus to receive salvation now while there is still time, because it is almost the end. All you have to do is believe in your heart and confess with your mouth and say "God in heaven, I come to you in the name of Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner in need of your Grace. I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. Please forgive me God for all my sins and please come into my heart and my life Jesus. I confess that Jesus is Lord and I make you Jesus, Lord and saviour of my life in Jesus name. Amen." Also be on the lookout for the mark of the beast soon to come. This will be something that ALL will be required to take either on/in their right arm or forehead and will be necessary to buy and sell things and essentially live. No matter what, do not take this mark because those who take it may be beyond saving.

Haha thank you so much! It is all about doing the small cleaning steps all the time - rather than making a big mess and trying to fix it afterwards. Hope that kinda makes sense... :D
Over time you realize that all the small steps don't require that much effort actually - so it almost feels like I am not doing that much cleaning! But the result is so satisfying! :))
id love to just travel to denmark just to come by and enjoy in your coffee shop!! all the best for you all!!!

I just binged all of your videos, its so cool to see your workflow and how you run the business! I'm really interested in the business side of coffee, so if you made more videos focusing on that side of things, like the machines you use and how you made the workflow so efficient I would certainly watch them! :)

Thank you! There are many videos on youtube about how to handle a tray - and people are much better at it than me - so check those out! My best advice is to put the most unsteady items on last - so you take them off first. Hope that makes sense! :))

please make a video about the milk machine! when i first watched one of your videos i couldn’t believe my eyes that a milk machine even existed! cant even imagine how much more stressful it would be for you using a regular coffee steamer during your rushes

I have to say that combination of grinder, milk steamer, espresso and puck collection machine is insane for producing good espresso at a fast rate..
Yes, well said! It is the setup that makes it possible and the workflow that makes it happen! It makes a huge difference to work at a dialed-in setup! ...and thanks! :))

Yeah exactly! The coffees mostly differ in size - so it is clear which one is which. Hope that makes sense! :))

As a person that had worked at a cafè in the summer I can relate with the "we want more customers to come in, but at the same time not"
Exactly! As business owners, we want many customers to come to our shop - but if they all come at the exact same time - it can be very busy and therefore less fun for both us and the customers. :))

Does the tamping machine distribute the grounds before the tamp? It sounds like it does, but I couldn't tell. If so, it is definitely a big time saver.
It does! It tamps 100% evenly - so it distributes the grounds very well! It is definitely a huge help - improving consistency, saving time and keeping our wrists pain-free! :))

Thank you so much! The cups are actually our own design - we designed them from scratch in collaboration with a porcelain artist. We sell them in our coffee shop - so if you ever come by - you can have a look! :))

The only thing we need is more videos! Also, im not a coffe expert but i have no clue what the difference between some of the coffees is. I mean, you use the same beans, from the same machine, the same milk, you press the same button on the other thing and use the same cups. Isnt it literaly all the same if nothing changes except the milk designs? :D Not that i mind.
Thank you for your kind and curious comment! Yes, many of the drinks are espresso-based - hence they all look similar-ish. But they differ significantly in their size and in amounts and ratios of milk/water/espresso shots added. Hope that makes sense! :))

Just wondering, what do you do if someone wants sugar added to the espresso or cappuccino? Can you do that or just no sugar at all?
Good question! Our customers rarely put sugar in their coffees so we don't really have any sugar directly at the bar. But we have a little water station on the side - where there is a brown sugar available. :))
Which milk foam creator / machine you guys use there?

...this actually depends on many things - coffee culture, espresso recipe, bean roast level, coffee origin, flavour preference and so many other variables... So as long as you enjoy your drink - it is all good! 💙
