This is my old area. I used to go get burritos in morro bay. I used to bowl and wander and skateboard in pismo. I grew up in arroyo grande/San Luis obispo. And I still go to San Luis obispo from time to time due to palomino living there. Love this. Great captures.
I really need to try Portra 800 again, but I keep going after Lomo 800 or Cinestill. I get a sweet discount for backing their Indiegogo ages ago, so it hurts just a bit more than a roll of Portra 800.
If i envy americans for anything is that they have so many fkin' neons everywhere. In Europe that like finding a muscle car on one street, and then going the next street and finding another one.
Bro I stumbled across your channel and saw that you have a FujiGW690III. What’s your thoughts on it? I shoot mostly night stuff and the long exposure lock is a bit weird in my opinion.
@@BadFlashes I honestly agree. I think it’s a sensational camera but I’ve loaded up a roll of Cinestill 800T and I’m now kind of stuck because I want to make sure I don’t mess up the night exposures. Keen to hear your thoughts on it man! Also genuinely love your content dude, keep it up!!
I do not understand the thinking behind not taking the same shot of one scene with each stock and comparing the three compositions side by side so we can actually see the difference.
There's one more 800 iso film that I know about. It's film that's inside kodak disposable cameras, both funsaver and daylight, but it's obviously 35mm only
Isn’t life just one big rumor...we are all living in the matrix... sorry I’ve had a bit to much coffee today. 😝 What I think is we should demand answers! The truth must be revealed 🥰
Oh well.... that beast ... it’s called Innorel and found on Amazon. It’s lightweight and cheap in terms of its size. Yes I knew how big it was I probably would’ve gotten the step below because this thing is huge. But Overall I like it. I’m going to be doing a review on at some point
Just made the jump on some lomo 800 yesterday. Im from Denmark and the sun goes down around 16.00 this time of year (yikes). Did you overexpose your shots?
Have you used 85B filter when using Cinestill during the day/daylight? would be cool to have such episode. Also heard that Cinestill can be shoot at 1600 or 3200 and then pushed 1 or two stops when processing and it gives almost no difference in grain.
I haven't used an 85b filter, not with photography anyways... I use it all the time when I shoot 500t for my 16mm projects. But ill be trying some cinestill and 500t and all types of stuff soon! :)
Just started shooting film again and I'm mostly shooting B&W. But I shot rolls of Lomo 800 and Portra 800. I didn't like either because of the strong warm/yellow cast especially seen on concrete and black top. I found the Portra to be much better than Lomo. Lomo appeared to be well faded and yellowish 60 year old photos. I shot second rolls of Lomo and Portra and sent them to a different processor than the first time and got the same results. I'll try CineStill next.
Welcome back. 🥳 Yeah Lomo does kinda look older. I would look into your scanning method... maybe that’s giving them an unusual warm color. Or I could be wrong. But CineStill is definitely stunning. :)
As far as i know Lomo buys old emulsions from Kodak (The old Gold 100/200/400/800) and gets them packed in China. Thats why all Lomography films experienced a price bump this year. To the price point: i think lomo 800 makes just way more sense in Europe than in America. A roll of Portra 800 costs roughly 19,08$ here in Germany and a 3 Pack of Lomo 800 after the price bump costs 27,90€ so 33$.
To be fair what really happened is I accidentally selected the wrong time to upload because I’m in a different country and didn’t take that into consideration. Or UA-cam just thought I was somewhere else I don’t know! I failed lol
Please tell me when you were in Morro Bay, that you went to the amazing Fish stand called Giovanni's Fish Market. - The best fish plates I've ever experienced (I ordered way too much food but I traveled far specifically to go there) ! - BTW, not sure why you guys insist on using ULTRA FAST films outdoors in bright daylight...🚽Finally, masks outdoors🤣That's why I moved from California...😷
Lol Lomo 800 in China is actually pretty damn cheap...it’s like 10.5 USD a roll for both 135 and 120... imma stock up a suit case of them before I get back to the states.
definitely!! I’ve been shooting the Fujifilm premium 400 and Venus 800, both supposed to be sold only in Japan but it’s fairly accessible in China lol! Love the color on these stocks, might actually use them to work on a new project of mine!
Nevermind! Found the answer in another comment. To be fair, I did try and look for someone asking, but my eyes missed it. Yes, please do a review soon!!
The coolest thing about the RZ67 is that when you're done shooting, you can kickstart it and ride it home.
Haha so true

it's so nice to finally see some music that isn't lo fi hip hop beats, plus the editing is really fun
Aw thanks!!! I try to add a bit of spice to the edit. :) I’m glad you enjoy
@@BadFlashes great video & editing indeed! Any chance you can tell me what's the music between 11:45 and 12:40 please ? I love it. Thank you!
I’m so sorry. I’m not sure :/
I retire old projects. I do know I use the site epidemic sound for all the songs in my videos.. hope that helps a bit.

I think there's also Fuji Venus 800, however I'm not sure where you could get it, I don't think you can purchase it outside of japan
Damn it. I will find a way!!!!
it's cool comparing your photography / video style to Jasons .. like watching someone with split personality disorder vlog.
Haha the same but way different. That’s why we work so well 🤪🥳🥰🤩

Indeed indeed 🥰
I really love your video. But also want to ask the BGM you’ve used, I think it really goes with the photos you’ve took.
Aww Thanks! What do you mean by BGM?

Ahhhh haha I’m not sure …. that vid was a while ago. But I used epidemic sound for all my tracks.
What App was that at 5:48? Some sort of Lightmeter?
Lumu
I feel like I've seen that empty pool somewhere else.
Nope. I’m the first to shoot it ever in the history of shooting swimming pools 😆
6 by 7 is just such a harmonious aspect ration!
I mean like …. I’m so into it :)
psss, hey.. who's your source for the 800t!
looks like im still a cinestill suckr after this comparison..
Hahah you will have to catch me first 😉
Did he say Cinestill uprated Vision 500T to an ISO of 800 to help shlep their film? ( Why, yes he did!)
amazing content man really enjoyed!
