You see so many pitchers fumbling over even the most basic numbers of their business but this man had full control and gave them straight answers every time. Props for that.
Massive respect to this man, even if his books weren’t great he showed how neurodiversity can be an asset not a curse and delivered one of the best pitches I’ve ever seen!

I can tell you autism is such a struggle for all. Some have the ability to thrive of it and this individual is so highly intelligent it’s so beautiful to see.
Can you really? You can says that on behalf of ALL AUTISTIC PEOPLE WORLDWIDE?! No you damn well can't. First of all, there are many autistic people who are very happy indeed with being autistic. Secondly, I recommend that you read about the social model of disability.

This shows the talent in neurodiversity. It is important society becomes awake. Thankfully, there are large organisations who have changed their HR processes to invite such talent but there is a long way to go !!!
Stigma going away finally. Whilst some neurodivergent people can unfortunately be a ‘burden’ to a company and sometimes hired just to fill quotas. Others can perform much better than colleagues with the correct support in place.
Actually Tuka wants to celebrate with Ben Pearson but yeah people with autism are not that social. He just left, but deep inside we know he is super happy that Tuka is on board! Congrats Ben! I love you so much! You are such a crystal clear entrepreneur! I want to meet you one day ❤
He probably did wanna celebrate though but the reason they didn't wasn't becayse of Autism, was just because it was Covid. Who knows though maybe it would have ended up going the same way even if it wasn't during Covid.
What a heart warning pitch by Ben! He has so much courage. I'm impressed!!!! He's been on a journey that's affected his mind and body but his determination is incredible!! ❤❤

Very inspirational from someone having autism. I'm really really impressed. Well done Touker for giving him a chance. I also love how he didnt hesitate to accept Touker's offer.
He is autistic but presented perfectly much better than I would and remembered all his numbers, they often say it's people with some sort of disabilities that are amazing at other things
That's because autism at this level is hardly a disability - it's just a behaviorial difference. Like someone might be inclined to aggression, or a crybaby.
Absolutely phenomenal entrepreneur and pitch! I really admire his story, his presentation, his calm and just so happy he got the investment from the investor he wanted! Well done Ben! 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤
Has a fellow Asperger's (autism) sufferer myself, this young mans life and is goal was a breath of fresh air. His last comment brought a tear to my eye. The amount of times I been pushed back and/or rejected because I was "different", is really sad. Cure ableism not autism. ♥
Gotta give it to the dude. My guy went in shot his pitch, gave the reason why he's there without bullshitting. Very nice straight to the point and open pitch.
This has to be one of best most inspiring pitches I've ever seen on Dragon's Den. He's a true inspiration & certainly acquitted himself well despite suffering from anxiety among other things.
I can't decide if he was unlucky because he has autism, or he was lucky because he was left hundreds of thousands my his grandad. I think most people in his shoes would have wasted all that money. Good on him!
It can be an advantage in a lot of ways. Attention to detail, deep focus, observation skills, absorbing and retaining facts, visual skills, expertise, methodical approaches, novel approaches and creativity are all areas in which Autists excel.
My grandson has WAGR syndrome and autism. I love him to bits and I’m always impressed by his view on life and how he sees things so differently . The only thing that I absolutely infuriates me is when adults who should know better and kids bully him. If Granny ever gets to witness this ,then I wouldn’t like to be in their shoes!
Just looked at his records. Touker didnt join him. Certainly not on paper records. How sad. Im sure it would have worked. And best wishes to the young man for his tenacity and efforts.
That’s the kinda a man you need running a company. Very straightforward and not afraid to put ‘the truth’ out there (taking the hit). Impressive.
Just hire autistics for every occasion, we do a great job and we're VERY focused..
What? His understanding of economy obviously was out the window.
That’s his autism (genuinely) Elon Musk is also autistic, when it’s high functioning, these people are unrivalled in their intelligence and efficiency
Love it I wish him luck 👏
