I believe that by looking at the Chinese air force and navy one forgets that real military power grows through the integration of weapon systems and weapon groups. This time, it is great the China has carriers. So they put stealth fighters on them. Very good. But do not forget, that by modernizing the missile warfare and satellite systems one could theoretically arm a carrier with observation drones and missiles could be fired from thousands of kilometers. Same goes for submarines. Do not need to be hunter-killer subs. Just recon subs. Rockets do the rest. How about that? So while the US needs carriers to deliver their birds to 3rd world countries which they can bomb to shit, China just needs a drone carrier and is in a totally different position to the US, since its potential targets are much closer. j35 is an improvement over the fc31 model. Fortunately, it draws on the successful use of j20. j35 can refer to many aspects of j20, such as stealth, maneuvering, etc. j20 is good. In fact, for ourselves, we have solved the problem of whether there is a stealth carrier-based aircraft, so after the J35 is used in the aircraft carrier, we can continue to summarize experience and continue to strengthen..But from my personal point of view, I am very disappointed that the UK decided to purchase the F35 instead of developing it myself. Although the UK and the US have close relations, this is equivalent to giving up the accumulation of their own R&D technology and making their maritime air superiority subject to the US
The 35 was developed by US and the UK. They are the only first tier partner. Lockheed and BAE. Its comical you think there is any air superiority developed solely by the UK. We are sharing with the world. Not the other way around.
"successful use of j20" No, lol. While the European Union could make an appropriate rival to the F35 in pooled resources, doubtful any singular country besides the US could. Including Russia, including China. J35 is a cheap generic looking copy of American stealth fighters and even if it has stealth, there is a spectrum of quality in stealth itself. We wouldn't sell the F35 if we were worried another power could make a copy in its quality
The F35 is a multirole fighter that was designed to work with the F22, the UK should at least develop with there Eurofighter partners a stealth successor to the Eurofighter that will handle Air Superiority while the F35 does attack.
I will say this. Stealing or "copying" is one thing, but to "build" something from that information is a COMPLETELY different matter - if you don't understand how the engineering "principles" of something that works, it ain't happening. It’s arguably prettier than the f-35 with the f-22 style rudders, but let’s be honest, it’s probably not a true competitor. Though having two engines could arguably be an advantage for carrier operations. Even if one goes out, the aircraft can still fly on the second one.
A carrier aircraft has to be reliable in the harshest aviation environment possible. It has to tote a useful war load over great distances and be capable of dealing with advanced adversaries and defense systems when it enters the fight. All we really know about the J-35 is that its a knock-off of a US design and was not originally intended for carrier duty. This aircraft is a developmental step in China's naval aviation learning curve.
When you mean that J 35 is not going to be an equal to the F35, we understand that is not going to be equally disastrous and mediocre than F35. When F35 can at least sustain Supercruse Speed for more than 60 seconds without braking it fuselage, tjeny we'll talk more.

Correction, the US has not "spent" 1.5 trillion on the F-35. That figure is called a lifetime cost estimate. In other words, the US and all F-35 operators are projected to spend $1.5 trillion over the F-35's 60 year lifespan. That figure is also adjusted for year 2070 inflation rates
How could you even manage to spend 1.5 trillion on the development of a jet plane? Like for that cost they should've developed and built space elevators to construct spaceships on Earth's orbit or something lol . I mean even if you pay your engineers astronomical sums of money for the designs and prototypes still $1.5 trillion jesus lol
@@dns7587
Read it again. Nobody spent 1.5 trillion on the F-35. Thats the ESTIMATED cost from development back in 1996 all the way up to retirement in 2070. And it is adjusted for 2070 inflation.
That involves 74 years worth of fuel, weapons, maintenance, training cost, upgrades, as well as all the research and developemt.
Oh and by the way the F-35 is the only weapons system that has a lifecycle costs estimate. If you did that for the B-52 it would be much much bigger since the B-52 is nearing it's 100 year anniversary in 2047 and there are still no plans on retiring it

Often imitated, but never duplicated.
Can you say, “I just made a cheap copy of the US F-35 without saying, I just made a cheap copy of the US F-35”? They’re not even trying to hide it anymore!
in other words, china remade the F22, but reskinned and renamed it with carrier capabilities.
It's Chinese It will work till evening 😂
Taliban>> USA
Like the Boeing max 🤔😂
You cannot "copy" a US stealth plane. The weight distribution and engine thrust differences makes any "copy" useless for practical purposes. So all this talk about copying or partial theft of the underlying tech is not worth anything at all.
These idiots always go like this: look, it’s got two wings and look like, must have stole ours.
Looks like China also likes how the F-22 looks. However there is a lot more much more to that plane than what can me seen.
F-22确实好看
Can't be too stealthy, they got only 1 carrier to launch off.
Find the carrier, find the J-35.
We already got another generation stealth fighter otw
wow, if they wanna steal and copy at least use a different number ..
j35 is an improvement over the fc31 model.
Thief who steals from another thief has a thousand years of forgiveness
Even copying such tech needs some nerve
Comparing J-35 to F-22 and F-35 is like comparing Sinovac to Pfizer and Moderna.
Sinovac is good tho
@@adrianoon1127 Indonesia want 3rd done only pfizer and moderna tho😂
@@aairaabraham so Indonesia is good tho
The comments show a lot of US believers’ ego have been shattered
I will say this. Stealing or "copying" is one thing, but to "build" something from that information is a COMPLETELY different matter - if you don't understand how the engineering "principles" of something that works, it ain't happening. You can go out and buy a car engine and take it apart, BUT there is NOT WAY you gonna build one if you don't understand how it works. It is indeed a mystery how they moved so fast. THEY HIRED foreigner engineers and paid them BIG MONEY??????? It makes sense.
Don't forget do you know, once China fully developed the GPS jamming system, alone its door steps and in SCS and NCS all those F-35, or even higher number will be useless ---- a blind leading a blind. China does has its own GPS system for its fighters.
I don't get why people get so mad at Chinese for "copying stuff". Probably what is the most important empire of the western civilization, the Roman Empire always copied his enemies strategies, formations, innovation throughout all of his history. Copying is not stupid at all imo...
If I were the US I would copy the Chinese hypersonic glider vehicle as well.
The name is not J-35, the name is supposed to be Shen Yang FC-31
It’s arguably prettier than the f-35 with the f-22 style rudders, but let’s be honest, it’s probably not a true competitor.
Though having two engines could arguably be an advantage for carrier operations. Even if one goes out, the aircraft can still fly on the second one.
Agreed, imo China will always lag behind the US as long as they rely on stolen intellectual property over their own R&D.
Yeah... No those aircrafts are not made to work with one engine, if one goes out it's down till it gets repaired again.
@@somedudes6455 what I mean is if it has an engine out while airborne it can probably still limp home on the other one.
@@Indarow yeah probably, but it's not gonna be able fight with any effectiveness whatsoever.
@@somedudes6455 true, but that’s not my point, if the f-35’s single engine fails, it’s a glider, and not a very good one at that.
It’s not cheating it’s being smart.
How original China, so innovative
Wow💪
When you mean that J 35 is not going to be an equal to the F35, we understand that is not going to be equally disastrous and mediocre than F35. When F35 can at least sustain Supercruse Speed for more than 60 seconds without braking it fuselage, tjeny we'll talk more.
Fact is the f35 is the most surviavable fighter.
@@gregoryyarmarkov5626 In your dreams, maybe, but reality is way far from your opinion.
All is fair in love & war. In war if you can kill the enemy, what is stealing?
In war sure. But we're at peace and trading. To steal while maintaining diplomatic relationship and economic trade is like declaring a war. China wouldnt be so blase about stealing if it was done to them, would they?
America at peace? You're kidding!
@@edwingan1988 Was US and China at war before China started stealing stuff? China's been stealing IP from EU, Japan, Korea, as well as its greatest ally Russia who's so pissed off at China it refuses to sell latest fighter jets as China blatantly copied it for earlier J-series. Not to mention AK47, where more Chinese knock off sold to the world than there are Russian made with not a cent going to Russia.
And speaking of peace, if you're talking about aggression, I could say the same for China too as it has border and economic dispute and warring tension with just about every single country it shares land, sea, and air border with. Despite what you may think of US's foreign policy, US has many allies and friends. How many allies and friends China has? Very few. Now why do you think that is?

Looks like a mix of F-35 and F-22
